Hotel Boutique La Casa de Marita Galápagos

This was our hotel base for our 4-night stay while on Isabela. Our room “Mango” was on the first floor (note: there are no lifts in the property) to the rear of the hotel and had a good sized balcony with seating and a hammock and excellent views of the beach and ocean. Our room had a King-sized bed, plenty of space for clothes, there was aircon and a plug in Mosquito unit which we were advised to use. There was no safe although valuables could be left in the safe in reception. There was also no tea/coffee but filtered water was provided each day. The shower was good with a basic level of toiletries provided, there was also a hairdryer. The downside to the room is it is directly below the restaurant and it was noisy from furniture being dragged around from early in the morning and during the evening meals. The hotel itself is well situated being less than a ten minute walk in one direction to the port and in the other to the town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when we had to leave at 5am in the morning a friendly night porter provided a coffee to wake us up.

Lovely place on the beach, spacious rooms with private terraces. The place has happy hour for drinks and tapas from 17:00 to 19:00.

Dare I say, best restaurant in town. Their Mojitos were delicious. Seafood Pasta was out of this world. And their Locro, the national potato soup was heaven. We didn't stay in the hotel but next time we are in Isabella we will definitely stay here. Amazing view and cozy atmosphere by the beach.

Such a nice place to stay. The terrace and views from breakfast are like a dream, beautiful! Loved every second. Isabela has a small town, but just what you need. There are nice daytrips available departing from Isabela. The hotel was just a few minute walk from the docks and also very close to the restaurants. The cocktails were great!

Greta location, easy to walk into town via the beach or side streets. Room was always clean and tidy, they also provide laundry services for a great price if needed. The restaurant has plenty of options if you don't want to walk into town. The mojitos were also a very tasty treat while enjoying the beach views.

We visited Isabela Island with Global Adventures by Vacation Races and our ~40 person party stayed at Casa Marita for three nights. The hotel was a short walk from Puerto Vilamil and situated right on the beach. Our room on the opposite side of the street was set up well. Staff were very responsive and quickly addressed any issues. Food was good and we had three breakfast and two dinners at the hotel. Happy hour alone was worth the trip. I'm not a mojito person but they were absolutely amazing. We'd highly recommend.

Great place to stay on Isabela. It is perfectly situated on the beach, a stone's throw away from the town center. Service throughout the stay was excellent. The breakfast offered was reasonable. We did not try their restaurant outside of this.
