I chose this place because it is away from the main drag in Santander, but still with easy access. We walked most places otherwise you could hop on one of the many buses or grab a cab.|We were on the ground floor. The room was small but delightfully decorated with a comfortable bed. |Breakfast was down some stairs where a limited buffet was on offer, but this included locally made pastries. I went with my husband for 3 nights and we had a great time/

Great location for the beach and coast, good location for the rest of the city. Nice surroundings. Hotel individually and tastefully appointed. Room was good. Would use again.

Small, friendly hotel and spotlessly clean. We stayed for four nights and had a nice time. Cost of stay was really reasonable for a nice hotel close to the beach. Breakfast was included but it was fairly minimal. Rooms are tiny and quite dated but as mentioned already very clean indeed. It was a bit of a challenge to open and close the shower room door due to such tight space!||Santander itself is lovely and this area is about a 20 minute stroll for the centre. Beach is amazing but not huge amount of stuff to do.

Difficult review this as I'd place it higher than a three but not a four for me.|Handy for the fine beach and near the football stadium which was my reason for visiting. |Easy to get to by several bus services which you pick up from near where the airport bus drops off.|A few bars and some good restaurants nearby and a handy little shop for newspapers and quality bread if needed!|Hotel very clean and a friendly welcome. It's an old building so no lift. My room pretty small but I knew this from research. Just me so no problem with space but bathroom a little tight and the loo has little room around it.| For my three night stay it was fine.|Average breakfast.|If you get a good rate it's great value but if not others may offer more.

The hotel itself is a very pretty hotel, beautiful inside, with a querky feel about it.||The room we were given for two nights, was on the ground floor, in the small reception area. So quite noisy, because other visitors come and go through to their rooms. If we opened our door, it was viewable from anyone in the reception area.||They advertise the rooms as smaller than average, and ours was very small. The bed is a small double and was very uncomfortable. I did not sleep well at all, nor my wife.||The only view we had was the laundry room, with staff walking back and forth carrying out their duties. Not much privacy, so we had to have the window blind down at all times.||Breakfast was under average.||Reception staff were friendly and helpful, although the desk is not manned at all times.||We recommend that you asked for a room not on the ground floor.

This is a very nice little hotel, literally a stone’s throw to the beach (Sardineros, but also very close to Camellos and Magdalena). I was in room 103, so main building and my experience was more like a bed and breakfast as there’s quite a lot of people traffic (footfall) noise from the corridors. But I am not a light sleeper, so it didn’t bug me. But light sleepers beware!||The breakfast was nice - I like it that you can buy a coffee and/or a coffee and a snack and pay a fair price. Very nice touch to have beach towels available from reception.||My bedroom was small, but for 1 person it’s ok. It’s a double bed so I don’t know if they would put a couple in. Bathroom also quite small but great water pressure. ||The only quibble I had was staff didn’t speak English - fine for me as I get by, but I can see this could be problematic. Proper struggles. Reception isn’t staffed all day, and they don’t make this clear. I was surprised to find the front hotel door unlocked at 6am when I left (surely that’s a bit unsafe?)||Also they weren’t very knowledgeable of things like bus schedules (I don’t mean specifics, but one of the reception ladies told me no bus running to the station on Saturday at 7am (which wasn’t true).) Little things like those matter when you only have a weekend in town and are on a budget. But overall it was a very nice place.

Hotel was in great location, room was small ,they didn't like dusting and shower leaked all over floor, breakfast wasn't very good only about 3-5 things to choose from
