Truly incredible accomodating staff in a beautiful building. Great food. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast in a glassed in rooftop area overlooking the town. Shower was incredible. So relaxing I didn’t want to leave. Clean, comfortable and centrally located.

Funky unique boutique hotel filled with fabulous art , fixtures. The rooms are clean spacious that are antique with modern amenities. Owner and staff are friendly helpful with decent English skills. Breakfast on the rooftop exceeded expectations. Location is central , four blocks from main square. Full bar. All in all would highly recommend for any length of stay

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a group tour. The hotel is centrally located, but just far enough away from the main square that it's not too noisy at night. The building looks a little unassuming from the street, but once you get inside you're in a beautiful courtyard. You had to be buzzed in by someone on reception every time you entered, good for security but it got a bit annoying. There was good wifi throughout the hotel.||My room was on the 2nd floor, there were no lifts so I had to carry everything up. My room was huge and beautiful, keeping with the colonial style. This did mean that the floorboards were a bit creaky and some of the furniture looked antique, but don't let this detract as it was beautiful. It was all very clean, and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was slightly on the small side, but it was very clean and had everything I needed. The shower was very modern and had consistent hot water and pressure (but no bathtub). I even had a small balcony which was a great touch.||I had breakfast on both mornings, and it was the weakest part of my stay. It was not located at the restaurant on the ground floor, but on a semi-patio on the 2nd floor. It was sort-of outside, but there was a large cover shielding from any rain, and patio heaters as it was a little cold. The setup wasn't ideal but I made do. The spread was ok but nothing special, some cold items and a few hot items.||Overall I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. If you want a hotel with beautiful rooms that's near the city centre but not right in it then I would recommend it.

Lovely balcony room in a well-kept historic building very convenient to everything. The staff of this small hotel were welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was great, with varied hot offerings of local specialties along with all the basics. If you dislike the generic big-hotel experience, you’ll love this place!

A historic building. The building is charming with a number of original features. The room had a french balcony. I was afraid that the street noise would bother me but it did not. The balcony has two sets of glass doors and a solid wooden door. The floor do squeak which is part of the charm I suppose. The bathroom has a large shower, a magnifying mirror and hairdryer. There is a restaurant that I did not try. ||The staff speaks good English and was helpful in giving directions.||The only possible issue is that it is three floors and there is no elevator. There are rooms on the main level. I was given assistance with may luggage when I checked in and when I left.

Located in the center of the historic district, Los Balcones is well known among foreign tourists and locals. Service was impeccable, the rooms are a bit dated but I was only there for two nights so I didn’t care. The breakfast wasn’t bad at all, as well as the one dinner I took there.

It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel not only because of the beauty of the acomodaciones, the polite and friendly staff but also the help that I received from the staff helping to find my ID that I forgot in another location. I can’t thank them enough for their help. 🙏 Thank you Hotel “ Los Balcones” for make my staying wonderful in the Beautiful Ciudad of Cuenca. 💕👏

Central hotel with a lot of rooms in the middle of the city. Very good for walking around the city center. Good clean rooms, the bed was ok. Restaurant offer a lot, taste good, fast service. Breakfast ok, in form of a small buffet with local food. You can order also different special things for breakfast. Friendly service at the reception desk, and also in the service in general.
