If they would update the rooms to match the environment like the lobby and restaurant, it would help a lot. We were in the 3-bed room facing the alley. Sheets are old, torn, and stained. Mattresses are sunken in and old, they need to be refreshed. The walls are stained and paint is peeling. The cleanliness is very questionable. There was absolutely no hot water. The toilet seat fell off while I was using it, completely broken. Barely any electrical outlets in the room, not near the bed. No lamps, just harsh overhead lighting. Old, noisy fan provided for cooling. Some windows were facing ours and we heard techno music and smelled marijuana smoke blowing in at 3am, impossible to sleep. Bad, narrow parking situation.
Looks really pretty from the outside and the lobby but the rooms show a complete lack of care for the property. It's sad to see the owner leaving defensive feedback on the low-scoring reviews. I can't tell if they're just rude or actually unaware of how bad it is. The bad reviews are true, at least for the room we were in. This person has not reinvested in keeping their property updated and functional.
