V... Boutique Hotel, a Design Boutique Hotel Vejer de la Frontera, Spain

"This small luxury hotel is located in the historic Old Town of Vejer de la Frontera, one of the most charming white towns of the Costa de la Luz. The Hotel V... has been restored from a 16th century house. It is a charming setting and you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Andalusian landscape while sampling tapas from the terraces. Surrounded by the rich monumental heritage of Vejer, this establishment is only 9 km from El Palmar beach. There are a wealth of activities organised by the hotel, including hunting, polo and wine tastings." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Hotel Boutique V (Vejer, Andalusia) 5 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Safe to say you’re not likely simply to be passing through Vejer de la Frontera, looking for any old place to stay. This picturesque little Andalucian village is the perfect location for a chic little destination hotel, something like the Boutique Hotel V, a twelve-room converted townhouse that’s a bastion of the cosmopolitan dolce vita, surrounded by the traditional life of this country town and some far-ranging views of the countryside beyond — all the way to Tangier, in fact." - Tablet Hotels

Hotel V, Vejer de la Frontera, Andalucia - Explore & Book

"When faced with the makeover of a 17th-century Vejer townhouse, Jean Van Gysel gave free rein to his love of eclectic interior design. Whilst many of the building's original features were kept in place - arches, beams, bannisters and wafer bricking - walls were rendered in eye-catching Venetian stucco, muted grey tiles laid in and out, and state-of-the-art bed and bathrooms created. Indoors, antiques from Goa sit alongside funky black and white photos on glass and PVC: this is a hotel that aims to surprise at every turn. It's the roof terrace that gives this place that extra punch: the views across the city's roofscape are simply stunning and on a clear day you can see all the way across the glittering Atlantic waves to the Moroccan Rif. With genuinely friendly staff, a one-of-a-kind spa located down an ancient water-well, and spoiling bedrooms set around an attractive courtyard, Hotel V more than earns its place in the boutique-is-beautiful rankings. Highs Beautiful hotel, beautiful town, close to beautiful beaches... what more could you ask for? Evenings on the roof terrace with the twinkling lights of Vejer spread beneath you is romantic with a capital R V is an amazingly quiet retreat, particularly given that you're at the heart of the old town, and the central courtyard with climbing plants and tweeting birds is an oasis of calm Lovely staff who feel more like old friends: the service here was a highlight of our latest revisit Spa treatments take place in a subterranean cave! Lows Drinks are not currently being served on the roof, but you're welcome to bring a tipple up from the in-room minibars The hotel isn't the easiest to find, and you can't park outside; staff can help arrange a taxi if you need help with your bags from the square or town car park Some of the rooms are a little dark, and only a few have views Space for breakfast in the courtyard is limited, and there's a lack of tables and chairs on the roof terrace for dining up top" - Guy Hunter Watts

Beautiful, fully renovated small hotel in the heart of Vejer. Nice rooms with a modern bathroom, comfortable bed, good AC, and very clean. Lovely staff -- the lady at reception was very helpful in every way, but know that the hotel is only staffed from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Nice breakfast included. Beautiful courtyard. Two issues that may matter to some: (1) there is no lift in the hotel, so you need to take your bags up numerous steps to most rooms, and (2) you definitely want to take the hotel's advice to get a taxi from the parking lot if you drive into town, as you cannot drive yourself to the hotel -- the hotel is at the top of the town and it's a haul uphill to the top.

this is a very lovely small hotel with well appointed bedrooms...all you could need...my only small concern that the lighting was very subdued. the place was very clean and well maintained. there is a lovely courtyard on the ground floor and and terrace at the top. The breakfast was amazing the choice and quality was excellent. my reason for not giving it 5 stars is the very steep climb up to the hotel. this is not a hotel for anyone with a mobility problem as there are also steps to get into the rooms.

We only spend 1 night in this hotel but everything about it is good. English speaking on reception which helps. Brilliant views on top floor, complete with sun beds and shower also hottub. Room was spacious. Breakfast was buffet type with plenty of choice. Tea and coffee free all day. Bit of a up hill walk if parked in bottom car park. No on site parking. Then once there you are central to everything the village as to offer.

Perfectly located in the old town of Vejer de Frontera, the reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and continental breakfast delicious! Twice during our stay we have returned to hand written notes in English with petit fours, such a thoughtful touch, would highly recommend

We loved this town and we adored our stay in this small luxury hotel. The room was very special and comfortable, breakfast excellent, service too. We just found the supplement for our 2 year old quite high (38 Euro per night I think it was). But still: longing to go back already!

Our stay at Boutique V was superb from start to finish. The communication via email was very clear, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room we had was amazing, the breakfast had good variety and the views from the rooftop terrace were spectacular in all directions. The hotel is very central in Vejer old town and nothing was more than a 5 minute walk. It was about 20 mins drive to the nearest beach at El Faro which was really good too!
