Hotel Bramante

A terrific location - so close to the Basilica that it was just around the corner and just a short walk to the Vatican galleries. At the end of the short street, you turn either side and there are loads of local restaurants with tables on the cobbled street (which is closed to traffic). The managers are excellent - friendly, helpful and very experienced in hospitality. Looking out of our window, you could see a cobbled street below and the wall between the Vatican and St Angelo's. This hotel was small and not crowded, which felt like a blessing in the madness of Rome. It's rated 3 stars but I think it's better. When I return, I am coming here.

The staff were the kindest people ever. Even took the time to teach us some Italian. Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was great (tea was sub-par). Rooms were beautiful and each one was uniquely designed. Bathroom was so darling. Good location

Stayed 4 nights in Rome in May, 2022. This is a great location and very close to St. Peter's. The rooms are spacious and updated and very clean. The best part about this hotel are the staff! Very warm, helpful and welcoming! The morning breakfast is delicious and delightful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Everything was more than amazing. We had such a warm and nice welcome from the lovely owners themselves. This atmosphere stayed then for our whole stay. The room and the whole hotel were super nice, always clean and cozy. There was always a serious care about us and help with what ever we asked for. The breakfast was (although of corona restrictions) very wholesome, various and more than enough. Serious recommendation for a stay in Rome! Thank you very much for this very nice time at yours!

This was the first time I have used the Hotel Bramante. It was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. Great breakfasts prepared by the wonderful Maria. The staff was great from the very beginning. The location is unbeatable with St. Peters Basilica less than 5 minutes away.

The rooms are well-appointed. The building is very traditional in appearance but has all the comforts you would demand. The staff are charming and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent, the staff offered to make omelettes to order. Wake-up calls, taxis etc. Nothing seemed too much trouble for this family-run hotel that is also so close to the Vatican!

Wow! We really lucked out! Hotel Bramante was recommended by 2 friends who had stayed here before and we were so pleased! The staff was super-friendly and spoke enough English that we were able to communicate easily. ||We had difficulties with our flight and had to cancel our first night, but when we arrived at 8:00 a.m. the next morning, they had our room ready early for us (no charge) and we were able to get in a nap before tackling Rome! ||The breakfast in the morning was amazing. My husband was apprehensive because the pictures all showed bread & pastries, but the omelettes were delicious and we were both spoiled by the cappucino and caffe americano prepared for us each morning. ||The very best part of the hotel? Nikita! Nikita is a sweet black cat who lives at the hotel. Don't like cats? Allergic? Don't worry! I never saw her bother anyone, but when she's invited into the room, she'll make you feel like you're home. She was quite possibly our favorite part of our stay (after, of course, the warm and friendly staff). ||If we ever get to return to Rome, we will absolutely stay at Hotel Bramante!
