What a special place! The owners are super friendly, the food is excellent, and the location is perfect if you're looking for some rugged easy access to puffins, beaches, hiking, etc. It's a bit rustic, has a rich history, and you won't forget it. We really enjoyed staying here!

I stayed here for 1 night in July during a Westfjords small group tour, staying in an en-suite room.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, about a 15 minute walk from the beach and a short drive from Latrabjarg Cliffs.
My room had twin beds and a view towards the bay. Nothing in the room was new, but given the remote location of the hotel that wasn't a surprise. I think that the hotel is also only open during the summer months.
There was no wifi in the room, but it was available in the bar area.
Dinner and breakfast were good, with a decent selection.
I'd happily stay here again as I loved the location.

Beautiful place! My boyfriend and I stayed in the camping area. Very, very sweet and welcoming lady at the reception/bar/restaurant. She was kind enough to let us dry our (very) wet laundry inside, as the weather was quite humid. Thank you :)

We stayed 1 night as part of our Nice Travel 10 night package. It’s not the most updated hotel. If you’re expecting a JW Marriott or the Conrad, you will be disappointed. For a hotel in the middle of nowhere, the owner and staff work really hard to make sure everyone is happy with their stay. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant had good food. If you are headed out to see the puffins, consider staying here for the night.

Got a cozy room on short notice, friendly service, great food, and they told us tips that helped us see a lot of puffins which was magical. Thanks Alina (employee with same name as me)!

I stayed in a room with en suite and it was good. Things are not super new but it is in the middle of nowhere and so it makes sense. The view from all the en suite rooms is gorgeous - out to the cliffs and beach. Breakfast was decent, staff was great, and it takes 20 mins to Látrabjarg. Be sure to note there is no WiFi in en-suite rooms - only in the bar/restaurant but lots of seating. I sat and worked a couple hours before leaving the hotel no problem.
