Hotel Bremer Hof

I stayed here as part of a large group taking up a number of rooms. It served our purpose. We didn’t need anything fancy and this was just fine; comfortable, clean, has character and everything (apart from the Wi-Fi) worked well. A note for solo travellers is there is overnight security on the premises. I’d happily stay here again. The welcome was friendly but I do think my group’s size and complexity did stress some members of the team out a bit! Breakfast was average and better value can be found in cafés close by. The WiFi signal really does need sorting out as it is something today’s travellers need for things like flight checking in.

All in all a great experience! The room was cozy and located on the second floor - no elevator. The location right in the center was perfect for our short stay. We could walk around with no problems. The view from the room was great! Breakfast was good with nice selection of sweets and salty food.

Average place and average stay in centre of the town. Nothing fancy!! Breakfast buffet was okay. The wifi was not working and too much noise outside the room from early morning which made it very difficult to sleep.

The service and staff were amazing, the breakfast was also good. But for 110€ the night plus 30€ breakfast for two people I expected more. The rooms haven’t been updated in any way for the last 20 years, old curtains and furniture. The bed base was bare, only the mattress and the sheets on top but no finishing or whatsoever. The bathroom was uncomfortable and overall old. The wifi was terrible, I had to work sharing the internet from my phone. Overall it was a 4 stars price for a 2 stars quality hotel. It is really a pity because the location, the service and the façade/outside of the hotel is really nice. Hopefully they invest the high price tag on bettering the hotel!

The Bremerhof is well situated in the old town area of Lüneburg. My room was in the newer annex and was quite large. WiFi connectivity was good. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Because the hotel is in a very congested area of town, I strongly recommend use of their parking area which is easily accessible. Due to COVID19, the breakfast was managed by the wait staff rather than being a buffet. I found the sketches of animals throughout the hotel to be charming.

We stayed for only one night. The location is perfect with only a few minutes walk to the old town and many sights. The staff was friendly and helpful, WiFi worked well on our room and breakfast was delicious. Parking was possible at the hotel but cost extra. They have a cute dog running around the place. We can definitely recommend it!

Warm welcome! Willing to promptly answer/research our questions and we had lots of them! Large breakfast buffet. Clean comfortable room. Warm relaxed atmosphere. I loved that we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to visit. Wonderful hotel!

First review I've written - I just wanted to pass on what a happy stay I had at the HBH. Very friendly, helpful staff, nice big roomy room with en suite - almost an apartment really - and view over courtyard with the impressive church in the background. Nice breakfast spread, wifi, very neat room tidy / clean. Room decor slightly dated, but the en suite looked brand new and everything working nicely. Good breakfast spread with option of cooked eggs.
