Hotel Brexton, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Very quaint place especially if it's a last minute reservation. The staff was very helpful and I found a new favorite French restaurant down the street. I love historic buildings and I imagine people back in the day make time for every detail and aspect of life. We need to all bring that mindset within us and incorporate what the current situation we live it. Being grateful is the first step. Thank you for taking care of me.

The architecture and decor are beautiful, and for a very good price. The location is very convenient to downtown and to Hopkins, but the parking is street parking. Beds are comfortable and very warm with plenty of pillows. The shower is a rain-style shower and it takes a while to warm up but is very nice once it does. The rooms are clean and have a Keurig, mini fridge, and an iron. Breakfast is bakery items and fruit bars. There was some minor damage in our room, but I think that most likely happened around the football game this past weekend, so that is probably not a common problem. Overall it was a wonderful hotel and I plan to stay again.

Beautiful old building in a great location in a cool neighborhood. Staff was completely clueless and unprepared for guests. Could not check us in for hours. No body wash in the body wash dispenser. When I asked for a replacement, was just given a gallon jug of Dial soap (the cheap crap). Staff doesn't answer front desk calls, goes missing for hours at a time. I had to let guests in who were locked out and hadn't yet checked in because staff was MIA. Not at all worth the +$250/night.

I was stuck unexpectedly downtown and found this hotel to stay at. Even though it was almost midnight, there was a friendly, helpful person on duty who got me a room right away. He was still there in the morning too, so I think they've done away with the contactless option. I loved the decor of the place and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. There were plenty of USB outlets provided and a Keurig in the room.

I had the most wonderful experience this past week. I got there early and the gentleman at the front desk was an absolute delight. His name was Terrel. Sorry if I spelled it wrong my man. Everybody that worked there was extremely accommodating. My only complain the room needed a little cosmetic touches. Thank you for a wonderful time I will definitely be back.

A historic building, this is not a “Luxury” hotel. It’s a unique, quaint intimate/romantic multi-story old building. Overall a good experience. Highs: A friendly and accommodating staff. A small but comfortable room with a great bed. Probably the best bed we’ve slept in years (including our own). Great pillows and linens. Seemingly endless hot water. Very good WIFI. Generally very clean. Lows: Parking’s a bit of a pain and street lighting is marginal. Steep steps to the entrance. Mold on the bottom of the shower door. No pods with the Keurig. Direct TV didn’t work. “Breakfast” is best described as, meager. We’ll be coming back in December, maybe there’ll be pods and I can figure out the DTV.

Hands down the best place to go and study, sleep, walk, and relax. Quiet and very clean. The employees amazing, understanding, incredible , etc. They went above and beyond for me and then some. And parking was a triple plus downtown.I love them

Hotel Brexton is soooo cute and funky. The rooms were clean, modern, and had a great vibe overall. we were missing a TV remote and k-cups for the Keurig at check in, but the woman managing the front desk helped us with both immediately. All of the staff are helpful, friendly, and overall stellar- BUT THEY NEED A NEW DESK. their desk is way too small and wobbly, and it makes the lobby feel less professional. not their fault at all but management if you're reading this - they seriously need an upgrade. the hotel is in Mt Vernon and is sooooo walkable and LGBT friendly! it's right next to Leons - an ICONIC gay bar. also close proximity to the Bun Shop which is sooooo yummy.
