The hotel was not clean, the staffing was underwhelming and the information online was misleading.|There was no clearly marked, or easily accessed handicap entrance. The "free" parking was street parking. The "free breakfast" was some mini muffins and a sliced pound cake. The room and adjoining bath were dirty. The hotel was unable to even provide a bottle of water. We had to walk several blocks away to purchase a bottle of water.|There are currently 80 hotels in Baltimore that are rated 3 stars or above. 20 of those are 4 star hotels. Pricing on each of these is comparable. We felt confident choosing a property managed by Wyndham. The likelihood of us choosing Wyndham again, anywhere we travel, is very slim.|To expect hotel descriptions online to be accurate (i.e. parking, breakfast) to have safe handicap access, and to find a clean room, are basic expectations. We expected Wyndham to be better than basic.|We have family in Baltimore and and travel there frequently. We have removed Hotel Brexton from our list of places to stay.|Linda Mundie

Hotel unique as it was an old warehouse or business with preserved fixtures within. I loved the spiral staircase. Hotel feels like an B&B minus the hot communal breakfast. Free continental breakfast is available, which is a plus. Cameras in and within hallways of unit so we felt safe. Front desk staff was very friendly and had good customer service.

Ended up staying three nights at the Brexton with some friends over the Easter weekend after an Airbnb cancelation left us in a bind. ||Price was reasonable and the location was convenient as our party was very reliant on public transportation for the trip. The light rail and several bus stops were within walking distance.||As for the hotel and room, it was OK. Nothing special but it was suitable for what we needed. A little rough around the edges but clean and pretty comfortable. TV was a bit wonky but after about 10 minutes of messing around with the remote we were able to update the television, and it was fine from there on out. The "Breakfast" was some grocery store mini pastries and a few small bottles of juice. If you need a real breakfast, you'll have to go elsewhere. Thankfully we found a few spots within a 5-minute walk that were pretty good options for that time of day. ||The highlight of the stay was by far the staff. Very friendly and welcoming and gave some really good tips on places around the hotel to check out.||The one issue I did have was when a worker tried entering my room a few minutes after I checked in. I'll chalk that one up to bad timing. ||Overall, I would stay here again if I needed to be in the neighborhood, but I think next time I'm in Charm City I'll stay down by the harbor.

Not sure why it’s listed as a three star hotel. No, the elevator isn’t the fastest and the breakfast is pre-wrapped cheap croissants and muffins. But the room itself is very comfortable and the location is very accessible. Everyone that I came in contact with was super friendly and warm. There are only five parking spots in the front but ample street parking and lots of places to eat and drink around And not a lot of racket.
This is an historical Hotel, Remodeled inside and very different unique, but the beds & Pillow were elegant. The bath room was very different and the parking sucks!! Once parked, took uber/lift. There was no real Breakfast, but the stay is was uniquely different, thus Y i will stay again !!!

Positive: Staff at front desk was very welcoming and engaging. Negative: Rooms showed a lot of wear and bathroom needed a thorough cleaning. If felt like they had started a renovation and had not finished it.

Very quaint place especially if it's a last minute reservation. The staff was very helpful and I found a new favorite French restaurant down the street. I love historic buildings and I imagine people back in the day make time for every detail and aspect of life. We need to all bring that mindset within us and incorporate what the current situation we live it. Being grateful is the first step. Thank you for taking care of me.

The room was small, nice tv. We had to ask for more towels, toilet paper, hairdryer, and soap for shower dispenser. The noise on the 2nd floor was unbearable. We had to call the front more than once. It seemed furniture was being moved around. I'm not sure. It went late into the night. It is a cool historic building. Breakfast needs an upgrade. The same old citrus fruit was on the counter the entire stay. Maybe add a drink machine, chips, and cookies for purchase?
