A lovely hotel with very welcoming staff. We arrived early but were allowed to put our car in the space we’d booked in the small parking courtyard next to the hotel. The hotel is quite charming and furnished beautifully. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was really nice and again had lovely furnishings. Breakfast in the pretty dining room was very good. The location is excellent, just a couple of hundred metres from the centre and all the historic sights as well as restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and would have been happy if we could have stayed longer.

Fabulous hotel. Beautiful traditional French style. Lots of character. But lovely modern bathroom. Owners and staff couldn’t have been nicer. Amazing breakfast - all products locally sourced. Nice coffee. Made good recommendations for dinner. Why aren’t there more hotels like this?

We had very enjoyable stay at this hotel, which is conveniently situated and in a quiet location. We arrived by train and took a taxi to the hotel. It is only a short ride but the town centre and hotel is an uphill journey; alternatively, there is a funicular which can be used to avoid the uphill section. We walked to the train/bus station for our excursions on public transport and also when leaving Pau. A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival and we found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of space; the bed was very comfortable and the shower good. A very good breakfast was provided. We would certainly use this hotel again if returning to Pau.

The hotel is quite centrally located, within 5 min you are at the boulevard des pyrenees. The rooms are quite small, butte fairly well equipped and maintained. We had a room on Level 4 and had a beautiful view to the pyrenees-mountains (similar to the view from the famous boulevard). The parking space is relatively limited and you should reserve a spot beforehand. But two public parking-garages are within 5 min walking distance. The staff was very friendly and is very supportive. We had a serious issue with our car, and the receptionist coordinated all the required activities. Many thanks for that. All in all a clear recommendation. We will definitely return.

A charming fin-de-siècle hotel which unlike so many hasn’t been too drastically modernised. Our room on the first floor was large and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The street next to the hotel has a bit of traffic, but any noise can be killed with the air conditioning. There’s a breakfast room, a comfortable sitting room and an interesting display of the hotel’s history. It’s an easy walk into the historic heart of Pau. The hotel has secure parking (€12 a day). The bill for two nights for two guests, including parking, was €347.14.

Travel Agent Review- |This is a lovely small hotel in a very central location in Pau and beautifully restored. It is maybe a 10 minute walk to the Pau Square and all the restaurants. The rooms are very generous in size and well appointed. The staff are exceptional and a shout-out to Anais and Ramon(?) as they were both very accommodating and lovely! Breakfast here was good. The night secure parking was a plus but it is a very small lot so parking is very tight. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Good little traditional hotel well located with secure car parking if you book in advance . As it is in a city it can have a bit of noise ( not excessive ) at night. Staff really helpful breakfast nice .

Yelp
This is a interesting hotel. The owners are French with very limited English so it can be fun trying to get some questions answered. They are very nice though - and their son does speak English so of he is around then you are okay. The lift is small - and feels old - wish I'd taken a pic. My room was small but very clean and comfy and no noise at all. Breakfast was okay - nothing too exciting. Wifi was good - had no issues with speed or dropping signal. Hotel has a small parking area and is in a great location in the center of town. Will for sure stay here again one day.
