I didn’t rent a room, but used the lovely, comfortable common space for a small social event for my book club. We had ten people attend. I provided appetizers and the hotel via Dennis provided the alcoholic beverages. It was perfect and he was so accommodating and easy to work with.

Google
Really nice and cozy place. Only complaints were my booking said it was a queen size bed but it was definitely not that size, probably a full size, it was pretty small. There’s also no employees after 5 pm so it’s sort of strange in case there’s an emergency or problem you need dealt with. Also, there was no mini refrigerator in our room, that’s about as basic of a need for a room there could be, so we couldn’t store drinks or leftover food which was annoying. Amazing neighborhood though, and tons of amazing bars and restaurants within walking distance.

My son and I stayed in Room 9 (2-room suite) during our visit to Butler University. What a treat! The room was HUGE and came with all upgraded amenities. The pictures don't do this place justice. Plus, you can't beat the location! Broad Ripple was just so fun with some fantastic restaurants within easy walking distance. The only thing I would recommend is having 2 bottles of water (versus just 1) and maybe some decaf tea. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Google
We stayed for 4 nights this past weekend. What a great place to stay! Debbie, the owner/operator, is on site all the time as is Dennis, the manager. They are both super friendly and helpful. Rooms and bed were very comfortable and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and taverns in Broad Ripple. A unique setting was the gathering room where we watched the Super Bowl with another couple; guests invited to go downstairs to a refrigerator to obtain a beer(including 2 varieties of draft), wine, soft drink or water on the honor system (as well as snacks). We plan to stay again when we return to Indianapolis for our annual trip to celebrate our grandson's birthday.

Google
Such a great stay! Each room is unique, the location is super walkable, and the staff was incredibly kind. The room was great, fit with a porch and very spacious bathroom. Lots of nearby local shops, restaurants, and bars— all within a few minute walk. Overall a super cute spot— I’ll be back!

Google
4/9/25 This place is delightful. It's near the Broad Ripple area while being safely tucked out of the way. It's literally steps from great dining and drink. Cute little space. Totally support the vibe.

Not a single detail was missed here! This place is charming and has such a homey and cozy feel. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We came to town to celebrate an anniversary and this was the perfect spot. Before we headed to dinner we went to the lounge for a glass of wine and had wonderful conversation with friendly staff. Restaurant recommendations from the owner were noted and we ended up loving one of her selections. After our bellies were full we got a relaxing night's sleep on a beyond comfortable bed. We are already excited about booking again. Thank you all for an excellent, quaint place to stay right in the heart of Broad Ripple.

Google
I was totally charmed by my stay. The room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable. Very non-corporate. Loved the artsy design. Dennis was a great source of information about the area, and I could easily walk to restaurants, shops and along the Monon Trail. I enjoyed watching some of the Olympics with a glass of wine in the “lobby,” which feels like a combo living room/restaurant. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I decided at the last minute to find a hotel in Indianapolis because I was too tired to drive back to Cleveland after my big event. It took a while to find a place that had a room, but I called the Hotel Broad Ripple, which I found on Yelp, and they found the last room available. Max at the front desk was extremely helpful and saved me a room. While the price was a little high for my taste, I did learn that it was the weekend of three Taylor Swift concerts in town so I ended up feeling very lucky. I came after hours and the process for getting in was extraordinarily easy and I found my room keys and the room right away. Once I was in the room, I was extremely grateful I had found this little gem of a small boutique hotel in a wonderfully fun and funky neighborhood. It was as quiet a hotel as I've ever been in and extremely comfortable. I deeply appreciated the 50% off coupon for a nearby coffee house and breakfast place, the Java House, which was within easy walking distance. I highly recommend this place and think it is also extraordinarily romantic and would recommend it for an anniversary getaway for a couple.

Yelp
Early check in without any hassle. Dennis gave us a little tour of the property and some back story on the various buildings and rooms for future stays. He also Explained the what the area has to offer. Seems really clean. Really nice big bathroom. Comfortable bed. Really easy parking.

Yelp
We stopped in for an art event today and the manager walked us through the history of Hotel Broad Ripple and showed one of the charming rooms. It's a beautiful, welcoming but comfortable boutique-style hotel space in the heart of Broad Ripple with restaurants, shopping, and entertainment within walking distance. It's a gem in the neighborhood, as there aren't any other hotels in the exact Broad Ripple area. Locals, don't count it out! Their bar (wine and beer only) is open to the public, so make sure to stop in and enjoy the lobby and adorable outdoor space on weekends from 5 until 10 PM. They often have live music on the front lawn!

Yelp
My wife and I recently spent a night here. Everything was great! The employees (owners?) were nice, our room was clean, it was as advertised and the price was reasonable. The close proximity to multiple good restaurants, a beautiful walking path, art galleries and bars makes this a wonderful place to visit from out of town, park your car and have a great time while not having to get back in your car until it's time to go home. Indianapolis without traffic headaches? Yeah, we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Such a great location!!! Lots of things to do in the Broad Ripple area! But to top it off they decorated for our daughter's birthday! Thank you so much Dennis and staff!!

Yelp
Centrally located and a step off the Monon Trail, this unique hotel is obviously a labor of love. The place to stay for a relaxing, enjoyable respite with all the comforts of home. Parking is easy, countless restaurants and the wonderful bakery, Rene's, are within short walking distance.

Yelp
I had no idea this existed. It only looks like a house when you drive by, but inside is the cutest spot! I only gave 4 stars because the bar wasn't open. I admit I didn't do the booking so if it was disclosed, I didn't know. It won't stop me from returning. I've been told there is live music over the summer and I can't wait to have a girls weekend and return!

Yelp
One of the blurbs, perhaps its website, announces that this little boutique in eastern Indianapolis "caters to LGBTQ guests" and later posts that it is "friendly to all genders and styles," or something to that effect. I was even moved to call for assurance that an elderly white straight couple wouldn't make others uncomfortable. "Don't be silly!" I was told "You'll have a wonderful time." Three little hole in the wall buildings furnished with meticulous taste and a detailed eye gave us great comfort in a strange city. An acoustic group played in the yard before our balcony the Sunday afternoon of our arrival -- old Beatles and Jimmy Buffett songs done well, and softly enough so as not to impede conversation. Spectacularly clean room, soft sheets, and fluffy terry bathrobes made us feel like royal guests. Plus, there's a very nice bar in the main building. We never entered our rental car between arrival and departing to the airport, as there are many restaurants, taverns, ice cream shops, and diners in convenient walking distance even for us octogenarian washed-up former has-been athletes visiting the Broad Ripple quarter of Indy. We had a delightful visit and will certainly return.

Yelp
I have walked past Hotel Broad Ripple several times while walking the Monon Trail and always thought it looked so cute. I was in town for a holiday party and decided to stay for the night. I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious and clean the room was. The bed was incredibly comfortable for a hotel bed and allowed for a great night's sleep! Check-in and check-out were both incredibly efficient and both employees were incredibly friendly! The location is perfect and conveniently located to several bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again when I am passing through the Indianapolis area!

Yelp
Hotel Broad Ripple is a delightful mix between a B&B, hotel and lodge. It takes the best of each of these and combines them into a welcoming overnight experience. You walk in and immediately smell a woodsy scent, like fresh-cut pine or oak -- I don't really know my woods. But it's that all-natural scent that immediately conjures up memories of nights spent in Gatlinburg or a forest or on a mountain. And then there's this great lobby area with wine at night. When I walked through it at different times I found guests chatting each other up, getting to know each other. So ... a lodge. But then again, this lodging option is in what looks like a former single-family home. The signage is minimal. You have to know where you're going to find it ... or have a good GPS. My room door was within 10 feet or so of the check-in desk, and there are no phones in the rooms because you could just peek your head out of your door and ask the front desk clerk. From what I could tell each room is just a bit different, some with balconies and some bigger than others. My room had a large brick focal wall, a vintage green sofa and a beautifully tiled shower. And when I checked in, I got a hand written note, welcoming me to Hotel Broad Ripple. So ... a B&B. But the amenities seemed to go above and beyond a B&B. There's free continental breakfast available at the small restaurant across the train tracks from Hotel Broad Ripple. I didn't get to try it out, but the clerk pointed out that it was next to the train caboose behind the hotel. Each room has its own bathroom from what I could tell. And you have privacy from other guests. So ... a hotel. Some other things I liked about Hotel Broad Ripple: * My room had its own Keurig with a few complimentary K-cups, including two teas and a coffee. * Coffee was also available for free in the lobby. * There's a small private parking lot in back of the hotel. * It's within a short walk of some of the best places in Broad Ripple. * The wifi was fast, free and easy to connect to. My room did not have a small fridge, which I wish it had, but besides that, my experience with Hotel Broad Ripple is one that I would happily repeat. I must remember this for the next time I'm in Indy.

Yelp
Broad Ripple has some cute little hideaways, I'm learning. I have passed by Hotel Broad Ripple on a few of my long walks on the monon, but had no idea it was so cute inside! I really like the decor; the owner did a great job of finding things of great style while maintaining a good balance. There are great views of the heart of Broad Ripple. My favorite room was the suite, which could fit about 4-5 people easily. It was very open, great decor and much space. The bathrooms in the suite were great and left me most impressed They had modern features with all the extras in the bathrooms. Another idea for Hotel Broad Ripple is that the owner is willing to have group rent out the lobby for gathering. She didnt make it sound like it would be too much on the wallet. This space is very spacious, has great sitting and offers a bar. If you are coming to Indy and want to focus on the Broad Ripple idea OR what a place for a cool staycation, I think Hotel Broad Ripple would get great!

Yelp
This review is not from staying at Hotel Broad Ripple. However, upon reviewing their website, the photos of the rooms (13 rooms) look very unique and each one has a different feel and style to it. We stopped by here because of the inviting environment that was on the back patio. There was live music and Adirondack style chairs with a lovely crowd enjoying the night. They have a quaint bar area in the back that you can enjoy some local libations from. Location wise, this would be a wonderful place for people to stay in Broad Ripple as the closest hotels are near Fashion Mall and Castleton. I'm not sure if there will be an opportunity for me to stay here since I live in Broad Ripple, but I'm sure it would be splendid!

Yelp
I would give the Hotel a 5 star rating for being such a good neighbor to Broadripple. I have not stayed here, but I have checked out a few of the rooms and it looks like a 5 star type of accommodation. The bar area is usually open and the crowds here are not as thick as some of the local bars. I have seen several bands play on the porch and they participate in the 3rd Thursday Art Walk. My neighbor recently put up some family to stay here and they loved the close proximity to night clubs and dining. They also enjoyed having the Monon trail right out back. My guess is that I would be perfectly happy with an over night stay here and I would probably update this review.

Yelp
This is a cute, comfortable place to stay! They make you feel like family. Only 2 inconveniences... there is no fridge in room 1, with all the places to eat around the area, we brought food home and couldn't refrigerate it. Also, room 1 is right behind the front desk which seems odd, but I understand why the space was utilized that way. Otherwise, room was beautiful and comfortable. Great place to stay in broad ripple! Close to the trail which makes walking to places so easy! :)

Yelp
Such a lovely little oasis! Yes, it's a bit from the airport, about a $30 Uber ride, but totally worth it if you want a personal, relaxing, and gorgeous spot to spend your time in Indy. Expect a cozy, welcoming, charming, nine room boutique hotel when you arrive. Yes, if you drive by quickly, you will miss it. The entrance is in the back so it's not obvious from the road. This is a spot you would see on Airbnb and add to your wish list. It has a contemporary lodge-like feel and was decorated for Christmas and it was lovely. I could sit here for days and think of adjectives to describe this spot but you really have to see it to believe it. When I arrived they were not full for the evening so they showed me Room 1 and 8 so I could choose, how nice? I went with 8 as it was away from the road and had a gorgeous deck. It was very spacious. The bathroom was lovely, only thing I would have liked more was a bathtub; I personally love taking baths in hotels. The bed was so very comfortable. So comfy that I had to force myself out of it. This was a super quick trip for me so I was very bummed I didn't get to hang out around this lovely inn. Next time I am in the area, expect me back here! The hand written note upon check-in was a lovely touch. There is also a free continental breakfast available at a restaurant right out back, a super quick walk outside the back door. I was unable to check it out as my stay was so short. If you are looking for a very personable, welcoming spot, this is it. Take a break from the hustle and bustle and get your relax on. Thanks for the hospitality, Hotel Broad Ripple!

Yelp
What a gem hidden on the canal in the midst of charming Broad Ripple Village! We rented room #9, the largest, and couldn't believe how spacious and updated it was. The bathroom had gorgeous tiles, a huge shower and two vanities. There was also a separate sink in the living area, two twin beds and other seating. The king bed was in a separate bedroom, and was a good firm mattress with better linens than expected. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the bar in the lobby area was accommodating and convenient.

Yelp
This hotel is a delight in the heart of Broad Ripple. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, comfy, and uniquely decorated. This makes them inviting and a feel of fun and home. A great bonus is that it is on the Monon Trail so you can take an energetic or leisurely walk. I so would recommend a stay here if you are in the area. Deb and her team are awesome.

Yelp
Hotel Broad Ripple is a beautiful ecletic hotel nestled on the Monon trail in Broad Ripple. On the outside it looks like a home with bridges to other houses...but once you enter you will be greeted by a cozy warm and well decorated hotel. Its a cute boutique hotel that offers the hominess of a hostel with the cleanliness and sleekness of any modern hotel. This is definitely a hidden gem of Broad Ripple...
google avatar

Michael Y.

Yelp
What a cool place! Location is perfect, right on the Monon Trail and a very short walk to everything in Broad Ripple. Will who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We had Room 4 which had 2 queen beds and a balcony overlooking the trail. The bed was comfortable and the decor was great. Large bathroom with nice linens. If there was any complaint, the breakfast was continental and a little lean. The pastries were great and the fruit was good, but a little light compared to other B&Bs where we have stayed. However, this would not deter me from returning one bit. I highly recommend this if you are staying in Broad Ripple or in Indy at all.
google avatar

Yelp
I cannot thank Debbie and her staff enough for making me feel at home at Hotel Broad Ripple. The rooms are beautiful and immaculate. Each room is uniquely decorated and uniquely furnished. There are a million places to eat within walking distance, and the Monon Trail is just outside the front door. You will love this place, and anytime you need to visit Indy you will most certainly be back if you can get a room.

Yelp
What a sweet hotel. Proprietor was very welcoming. Room was very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
This was a great place to stay for the evening, and in a very friendly neighborhood with lots of tasty food options. The room I stayed in was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well decorated. On top of this, I forgot my phone charger there and they got in touch with me to return it. I would 100% suggest staying there when in Indy.

Yelp
Awesome little hidden gem. We were just passing through town on a road trip and stayed here for just one night. Wish we had stayed longer! Room was beautiful (as was the lobby/bar). Great shower! Comfiest bed! Nice little hip neighborhood to explore right across the street. Free breakfast at the coffee shop. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
I live in Broad Ripple but don't have enough space in my home to host guests from out of town. Hotel Broad Ripple is a life saver! It allows family and friends to stay close but still have their own bed and comfy surroundings. The furnishings and decor here are adorable. Feels like a bed and breakfast with all its charm, but has modern touches like a Keurig, flat screen, and keycard entry for all rooms. My mother is visiting this weekend, and this is her first stay. She loves the big bathroom and sitting area of room #2. We had breakfast this morning with some yummy local treats like Traders Point Creamery yogurt and butter, and all the stylish plates and glasses. The staff is friendly but not overly chatty if you prefer privacy. Plenty of parking, and a great location for walking access to lots of restaurants, bars, local shops, and the Monon Trail.

Yelp
I am a business traveler that visits Indianapolis once a month. I usually stay at a marriott courtyard. A business associate and friend recommended the Hotel Broadripple. What a refreshing difference! If you travel often, you know how seeing the same hotel decore begins to wear on you (i am looking at you green leaf picture in every marriott bathroom). The Hotel Broadripple offers a unique blend of classic style with all the modern hotel amenities. No expense was spared when they built this place. Booking online was easy and the staff was great. Doug checked me in and was very down to earth and personable. The free breakfast offered at perk up across the street was great. A huge departure from the joe vs. The volcano intro assembly line vibe at the big box hotel bistros in the morning. Thanks Doug and Hotel Broadripple!

Yelp
wowee wow wow! I attended the Yelp's Winter Whiskey Party at the Hotel Broadripple. We were able to get a tour of the place including 3 of the rooms. This place is so exquisite. Each room is decorated to the nines, rustic, shabby chic, hoosier. The hotel owner was present and she is just wonderful. You can see the passion that went into her design. This would be a great place to stay for business travelers, for out of town family members, or even for a great staycation. I can't wait to stay here sometime for a little R & R!

Yelp
Right on the Monon trail. Stayed here for the Indy 500. Great hotel. Great staff. Trendy hotel. Beautiful balconies. Features great local art on the walls of the hotel rooms.
google avatar

Yelp
Great stay at this charming place. Quiet. Clean. Fabulous location. Safe and unique. Loved it! Room #9 was perfect for the 4 of us.

Meridith M.

Yelp
Really loved this place. We were in town for a wedding and it was super comfortable and a great location. We could walk to lots of great bars and restaurants which was fantastic as we did not have a car. Everyone was super friendly and we would definitely stay here again. There is a great walking/running/biking path right behind the hotel we wished we had brought our running shoes.

Hailey M.

Yelp
I stayed at Hotel Broad Ripple with my boyfriend while visiting my sister, who's a student at Butler University. The room (Room 8) was very cute and cozy, and it had a beautiful balcony that would have been perfect for the summer. With Keurig coffee makers in each room and the Monon Trail System just a few steps from the front door, HBR was a little piece of heaven for a runner like me! Restaurants, bars, and shops are also steps away from the hotel -- we loved Public Greens for lunch (TONS of tasty, healthy, local dishes), Broad Ripple Brewpub for dinner, and Triton Brewing Co. HBR's breakfast is also very good; after running, we had yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit and local granola, as well as a yummy cinnamon pastry from the bakery next door. For active people looking for a romantic stay in hip Broad Ripple, this can't be beat!

Christy A.

Yelp
Many of the other reviews have already detailed what is so wonderful about the Hotel Broad Ripple, but I just wanted to add my voice to the chorus. My husband and I loved every minute of our almost four-day stay there. The service, amenities, decor, location...all top-notch. We stayed in room number 1, the "smallest" (one queen bed), which was still a decent size, not cramped at all and perfect for a couple or a single. It has a lovely sitting area and a large bathroom with a huge shower. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
google avatar

Jeanine L.

Yelp
I visited the Hotel Broadripple last night for Yelp's Winter Whiskey event and this place is definitely on my list of things to do. While a boutique style hotel, you can definitely tell that the owner put a lot of thought into the furniture and decor of the hotel. She is very personable and shared little tidbits of special pieces around the hotel. Plus the art work is for sale! We listened to a lady from Buffalo Trace give a small presentation about the bourbon brand and it was fascinating to see the other people's reaction to bourbon. The Wick's Pies were also amazing (especially since I normally do not like pies).

Yelp
We had an absolutely phenomenal stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful, with each room uniquely designed to fit into the footprint of the building. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and euro sofa, allowing for us to relax comfortably as if it was our own living room. The temperature was in the 60s even though we stayed in December, allowing us to truly appreciate the great Broad Ripple neighborhood; there were so many restaurants and bars in close walking proximity, and the trail directly behind the hotel was perfect for exploring. The continental breakfast was also awesome, with local yogurt, and delicious breakfast breads!
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
My company negotiated a great rate with the HBR and the team has been staying more and more here. For me, it's a great place to come and relax after work and away from the normal corp culture hotels. The rooms are immaculate and the staff outstanding. It has a Bed and Breakfast intimate feel but it's clearly a hotel! It gets 5 stars from me.
google avatar

Carla P.

Yelp
What a great place! This place had just opened up a few months ago and we stayed here after going to a race in Indianapolis. The hotel has B & B style suites with very friendly staff and just a short walk to the bustling downtown Broad Ripple main streets. There is a walk/bike path right to the back door and a nice assortment of restaurants, shops and bars. Continental breakfast free, just across the bike path. Lots of style in this hotel with a small town feel. We will stay here again!

John H.

Yelp
Well I'm not usually a FAN of the little hotel places. This place was so nice. Everyone there was great. The Room and Bed made me feel right at home.
google avatar

Marissa D.

Yelp
Great unique hotel. Great staff and amenities. Perfect location right on the monon trail. You can walk wherever you need to go in broad ripple. We love to bring our bikes and ride the trail to downtown or to Carmel.

Ethan T.

Yelp
I haven't even been here and I can say this isn't worth our time. I called ahead of time to reserve a room, and when I politely asked about room availability the man on the phone rudely hung up on me. I immediately called back assuming this guy had made a mistake. Possibly dropped the phone? So as I gave a second attempt at gathering information he decided to not speak directly to me through the tele. Just amazed this is a real establishment with staff like such.

Yelp
I've stayed in 100s of hotels around the world, so I have high expectations and a broad perspective on what makes a good one. And HBR is it! Several of my family members and I stayed here in June for a family reunion and we were all pleased. Brett, who handled all of our reservations and checkins, went out of his way to make us comfortable. We had a chance to chat with the owner who was very sweet as well. The rooms are in spectacular shape and so well decorated you'd think you were in Paris. You cannot beat the location either. I grew up in Indianapolis and know all the neighborhoods well; for business travelers, tourists, or natives coming back to visit, Broad Ripple is a great place to be. While plenty of cafes/bars are a short walk away, the hotel itself is very quiet and feels tucked away. Bonus points for the large grass area where guests can hang out, socialize, read, or just enjoy the view.

Tammie B.

Yelp
This place is best for grown ups (carefully chosen word). Great location with easy foot access to many restaurants, pubs, shops, and town is right down the bike/foot path. Lovely host, decor and modern rooms with open yet cozy and nostalgic feel. Best of all worlds. Modern fully-accessible temp control and TV, French country feel with exposed brick accent wall and talk/vaulted ceiling and large modern bathroom (rm 2). For groups there is a lovely open room near the entrance to hang out or grab continental breakfast or last drink of the evening. Also recommend Public Greens restaurant within walking distance or for desert Monon Food Company. Looking forward to our next stay.

Yelp
Hotel Broad Ripple is a beautiful, boutique-style hotel fashioned from two homes. The decorations are contemporary and spot-on for details, the rooms are tasteful, welcoming and very comfortable and easy to kick back and relax in. When not in-room, the common area/lounge offers wine and cheese plates in the afternoon/evening and a very simple, yet delicious and fresh breakfast in the morning. Within walking distance is all of Broad Ripple; from the lovely Monon walking/biking trail to scores of quant shops and eateries. A little further walk or an easy/short drive is the main street of the more commercial (and college life) area of Broad Ripple with more shops, pubs and restaurants. And an easy 15+ minute drive you can be in any of the great Indianapolis cultural/zoo/canal/art/and everything districts. HBR is well worth the stay...the first, second and third and beyond trip. Make a reservation today--I know I'm ready to go back!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Broad Ripple on NYE. We used to live in Broad Ripple, so this area of Indianapolis holds a special place in our heart. While we were living there we saw it being built, so that's how we found out about it. We were beyond impressed! For starters, the hotel is beautiful and has amazing curb appeal. It is seated in the perfect, walkable location in Broad Ripple and boasts balconies for guests to enjoy the views. We stayed in room 3 and LOVED it! It is beautiful, sleek and elegant. It was also on the top floor which we loved. It really was as if we were staying at a home away from home. The staff member was very helpful, but we rarely saw him which also made it feel like we were right at home. The hotel has a bar area in the lobby where you can hangout. This is also open to the public, so my husband and I plan to enjoy this feature of the hotel in the future. Overall, we cannot rave about this place enough! We have suggested it to so many people and plan to return. It is unlike any other spot in Indianapolis. Thank you Hotel Broad Ripple for the most wonderful stay!

Carol S.

Yelp
I'm a recidivist client at Hotel Broad Ripple, having stayed here more than 15 times since May 2014. It's fabulous: great location, quiet, rooms are beautifully decorated and the bathrooms ( and showers) are wonderful. The staff is friendly without being obsequious, and have great recommendations for local restaurants. I cannot say enough good things about this small and wonderful oasis. It's so much more comfortable than a chain, but with all the amenities you need and want. I only hope I have reasons to return.

Dan R.

Yelp
choose the hotel broad ripple for its off the beaten path charm, and this cozy and welcoming spot did not disappoint. Away from the keystone avenue chains of hotels and same-o, same-o eating establishments, this hotel feels like a good friend's cottage. The lobby is open and welcoming, the check-in friendly and efficient. The owner, manager comped me an upgrade as census was light on a Tuesday. My room featured a very homelike rich blue decor with a soft headboard and some funky art above. The bathroom is huge, marble and features kohler-like fixtures. Big fluffy towels abound. My room didnt quite get dark with all of the wonderful blinds closed and there was some road noise to contend with. The neighborhood feels comfortable, you dont feel like a tourist walking across the old railroad spaces now repurposed as a walking and running trail, to the 4 or 5 restaurants filled mostly with locals. I will make this my fixed base of operation on future Indy excursions!
