Hôtel Brueghel

Comfortable and cozy room, very well located. Helpful and correct staff. Breakfast is expensive for what it is, very limited and in a tiny space. We have not seen the price we paid reflected in the stay but it was not bad either. I got the impression that the hotel management does not have much desire to provide a service corresponding to the price.

A lovely little hotel wonderfully situated in the historic centre of Lille. The staff were friendly and helpful and my room (superior double) was clean and comfortable. If, like me, you're not keen on the anonymity of the large chains, this picturesque and characterful three star offers the perfect solution. A an authentic and very positive experience of la vie Francaise.

Good hotel with very nice decore. Amazing location, and very friendly staff. A little bit pricey but is justified by the experience. Definitely recommend if willing to spend a little bit

great location and view of eglise saint-maurice, kind staff, comfortable and warm room, lots of character! only drawback was a bit of noise from other guests climbing the stairs.

The room was clean and proper. It was a warm day in Lille, and we got a fan for the night rest. The hotel itself has a real dated feeling but in a positive way. Breakfast is also served, but we did not opt for this.

Lovely, characterful hotel in the heart of Lille overlooking a beautiful old church. Worst night of sleep I've had in my life. The church is lit up at night and the rooms don't have curtains. If you want to block out the light you have to shut the metal blinds, which also blocks out the only thing keeping you cool at night, the breeze. The rooms don't have air conditioning and are South facing. Regardless of opening or shutting the windows, you'll be eaten alive at night by the hordes of mosquitos. It was so bad we only stayed one night and went somewhere else for our second. If you don't go in Summer it would be lovely.

Stayed here a night on recent trip to Lille||Location is good just a few mins walk from the main square and the many bars and restaurants ||Check in was good …staff friendly and place nice and warm||Room was compact but ideal for a solo traveller …small bathroom and shower attached and decent flow and heat to the water||Bed very comfortable too||WiFi was decent as well||Didn’t eat at all there but had no complaints about the night I spent there…there are cheaper options as I found out but it was a very decent stay

Amazing location and lovely hotel. Very nice old details such as a gorgeous lift. The room was very basic and as we selected bath, we were not aware this meant that there was no bath/shower combination. So be aware that you don’t have a shower then. We haven’t tried the breakfast so don’t know how that is, but if you are looking for a basic room at a good location for an affordable price, this hotel is perfect. If you want a more glamorous hotel room and more luxury then this is not the hotel for you.

Not exactly the hotel of my dreams, but Hotel Brueghel did everything it was supposed to do: provide me with a place to lay my head for one night in a central spot, for not too much money, with a comfortable bed, nice view of the city from my 6th floor window as well as a convenient conference room (actually, the dining room) to unite a bunch of people. The place has a quirky grandma's house feel to it with random things thrown into the decor, like a mannequin bust in the hallway that freaked the bejesus out of me every time I stepped out of the elevator. Aside from that, the staff is friendly and accommodating and recommended a great place to lunch nearby. So all and all, not really my cup of tea in terms of design, but for the price and location, you can't really go wrong.
