What a charming hotel, great location, and amazing staff! We got stuck in London for a night on our way over to Venice last week due to airline issues. We were exhausted upon arrival to Hotel Bucintoro, but Stefano the front desk manager turned our frowns into smiles with his warm welcome, kindness, and amazing service. Our group must have sent him 15 emails with questions about Venice before arrival -- water taxis, events, sites, etc., and Stefano provided amazing correspondence and service before we even arrived. Upon arrival he had all of our emails printed out, he had our water taxis all scheduled and waiting for us, etc. At one point we got locked out of our room safe -- he made one call and it was opened in 2 minutes. I cannot speak highly enough about the level of service at this hotel. If you enjoy a higher level of kind and personal service, this place is for you! The room was nicely decorated, cleaned, and charming. All the amenities were provided. Our rate included a breakfast each day which I loved. Very nice spread to choose from that included fresh fruit and foods. Location was great - just off of the park that hosts the Venice Biennale, maybe a 5-8 minute walk to Piazza San Marco and all the sights. The hotel is right on the water and all the rooms seem to have a view of the beautiful canals. We loved our stay there and will be sure to choose this hotel again when we return.

Our 2nd visit to Hotel Bucintoro, we were a group of 8. We will not stay anywhere else in Venice, Stefano at reception cannot do enough to make sure your stay is more than comfortable. The position is on the water and away from the madding crowds, but within walking distance to St Marks square. Our water taxi from the airport was also arranged by the hotel, so convenient. Breakfast is a treat. Many thanks to all the staff.

We really enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Stefano who ensured our stay was comfortable. We loved the location, as it was set away from all the craziness of crowds but was within quick walking distance to all main attractions and had a beautiful view. Every night we couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel and just chill on the pier. There is nice area outside to have coffee and breakfast. The reason for 4 stars is the breakfast a bit basic for us, tiny elevator and bath tub very high and hard to get into if you have some mobility limitations. With all that I would book this hotel again as it worked great for us.

The location and service at this hotel is excellent. We had good recommendations for meals each night at restaurants nearby, with reservations made by the hotel. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, accompanied with robust coffee. On the morning of our departure, a private taxi to the airport was arranged by the hotel and they even made us up some box breakfasts, as we left so early. My only negative comment is, as typical of some European hotels, the closet space and storage shelves (in both the main room and bathroom), is limited. Other than that, I would definitely stay at Hotel Bucintoro again.

Our first stop in Italy was Venice. The hotel and their staff set a really high bar that no other hotel & staff met while we were in Italy. Stefano at the front desk in the morning and afternoon was amazing and helped us arrange a private water taxi from the airport, to Murano & to the train station after we had issues buying public water taxi tickets. Some of the best service from their staff we have ever received. The rooms were large for the two of us. We had 3 rooms for our party of 6. One room had AC issues and they moved us with no problem. It was an easy walk to St Marks Square and lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel gave us a free tour to Murano & glass blowing demonstration.

Hotel Bucintoro was an excellent choice for our stay in Venice. The location is great, a short walk from Piazza San Marco and at the same time far from all the busiest areas of the city. The room was great, the air conditioning worked perfectlyBreakfast was very good and with lost of different choices. Stefano at he front desk did everything in his power to make our stay unforgettable. We would definitely return to Hotel Bucintoro if we come back to Venice.

Great location with views of the canal and outside main tourist area but close enough to walk to the sights.|Small room but well appointed and quiet at night. Mattress is on the firm side.|Excellent dining options along the via Garibaldi close to hotel.|Only a few 100 metres to arsenale ferry stop which takes you straight to the airport. |Would stay here again if we return to Venice.

Very lovely hotel. Wonderful service, well appointed small room and bathroom, great air conditioning which was much needed in the Venice heat. Great location near the Arsenale. Easy walk to vaparetto stop and to San Marco square. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Very friendly, cute, and the room and hotel had tons of character. The location of this hotel is ideal. You are close to the tourist locations on one side and to the other side, the locals. The views from the hotel are beautiful! The service was great- very helpful!

Yelp
This place was great. Super pricey but hey, When in Rome, right? My luggage got lost before arriving to the Venice airport and the people at the front desk were really friendly! They were calling for my suitcase at all hours of the day. As far as the rooms, beautiful and spacious compared to other hotels in Europe. I also loved that their are only....maybe 20 rooms? The staff makes an effort to get to know you because when you leave the hotel, you have to leave the key with them. Another thing about the rooms is that they have BEAUTIFUL views. Absolutely breathtaking. If I come back to Venice, I'll definitely come back to this place.

Yelp
This place was fantastic. We stopped in Venice after visiting Paris and on our way to Florence/Tuscany. Admittedly, I take forever to book places, because I have to scout it out, read reviews, check maps, investigate pictures, etc - It's long, exhausting process and Venice was no different, all of the places we looked at had heavy floral drapes and over designed rooms - looked dark and musty. This place was/is incredible - so friendly, so authentic, but clean. We stayed on the top suite, it's almost designed like a fanciful oversized yacht, with maritime touches through out - but very tastefully, not themed. We walked through the hall, which was low lit, and to our door, you turn this skeleton style key with a huge tassel - the door opens and all I remember is the incredible palette of light - I was awestruck, I couldn't help but drop my bag and run to the window to look out. I will never forget the moment I opened the window and this punch of sea air swept in. It sounds crazy, but it was crazy, I immediately was transported into authentic Venice Italy.
