Excellent hotel for our first time in Venice. Stefano, Anthony, Marco & all reception staff are very responsive & easy to communicate with. The staff are on top of things. Overall service feels personalized. |The breakfast room is quite small for the hotel, I suggest you go before 8am to ensure seating. Breakfast choices are varied, but don't change much day to day. Breakfast staff are professional and formal. It was too cold for outdoor dining, but I imagine will be fabulous on warmer weather.|Their website is quite accurate as to hotel location, interior decor, breathtaking lagoon views, and convenience to taxi & vaporetto stops. Tranquil but still lively location, only a short walk to San Marco square. Nearby are a grocery store, numerous restaurants and shops.|We reserved a Family Suite, with a nice sitting area between the 2 bedrooms. The mini-bar had good snacks and drinks. Complementary water bottles were much appreciated. Mattresses are firm but very comfortable. Room temperature was comfortable, they upped the thermostat heat setting upon request. Daily housekeeping staff are very professional. Bathrooms of a good size, good Wi-fi. |The staff arranged for a free water taxi (glass factory-sponsored) to Murano--we were dropped off to a glass factory where we saw a glass-blowing demonstration then escorted through their glass-art gallery. (Tip: You can just as easily take the public vaporetto to Murano and explore on your own. We took the free taxi as there was a public transport strike that morning.) |Upon our checkout, hotel staff (I think Anthony) helped print our flight boarding passes. It was a little hectic but he was very gracious. |I only have good things to say about the hotel, staff and overall hotel experience. Hotel Bucintoro sets a high standard for boutique hotels.

We loved our stay here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the beds are comfortable. You are right by a boat station and so what you gain in terms of location you lose in terms of noise. Breakfast was really good considering it was included. It’s a bit of a walk to the key tourist attractions but we preferred that. There are lots of nice restaurants and bars just to the right of the hotel too.

We had a great stay during the low season (mid December). A family of three , we shared the top floor suite with terrace, which was still enjoyable even though the weather was foggy most of the time. The suite also came with a shower and a large spa-like bathtub. Very good breakfast buffet in the morning. Staff always helpful and friendly. The location is great for the view of the grand canal and for proximity to the Biennale, but you need to walk 15 minutes to reach San Marco. Highly recommended overall

Staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good but the hot food was barely warm. Views were great from room 501 roof top balcony and bedroom porthole window. Close to water transport stop of Arsenale. The room was very clean. Cleaning staff were flexible to our needs. However the bed was hard and the bathroom had a bad plumbing smell. Shout out to the team member Nicola who was very helpful by carrying of bags into our room.

The location was fabulous. Just a 100m walk from the Arsenale stop on the blue line of the waterbus. The rooms have a beautiful view of the lagoon and is probably one of the best locations to watch the sunset. The hospitality is fabulous - Stefano and Marco went above and beyond to make all arrangements for us (24x7). Will definitely come back here for my next Venice stay.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! So glad we chose to book in this hotel after reading all the positive reviews. Superb view from room 302. Room itself was clean, with a comfortable bed, great amenities provided like toiletries and slippers! We were especially grateful for the powerful air conditioning in the room, which was a lifesaver during the mid-August heatwave! Great location too in a quieter area but a short walk to attractions. It was also very convenient to have ferry terminal right in front and can hop on anytime if you have the city pass. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Good breakfast, much wider selection than we expected. There was a breakfast area in the lobby, but we also brought the breakfast to the room to enjoy after selecting from the buffet, or you can probably request for room service. The stay was definitely worth the price, considering the typically high costs in Venice, not every hotel offers this level of service and comfort in similar prices. It's my second visit in Venice, and this stay definitely exceeded my expectation. What made our stay even more unforgettable was getting engaged in front of the stunning view from the hotel. It was the perfect, romantic setting for such a special moment.

Yelp
Very friendly, cute, and the room and hotel had tons of character. The location of this hotel is ideal. You are close to the tourist locations on one side and to the other side, the locals. The views from the hotel are beautiful! The service was great- very helpful!

Yelp
This place was great. Super pricey but hey, When in Rome, right? My luggage got lost before arriving to the Venice airport and the people at the front desk were really friendly! They were calling for my suitcase at all hours of the day. As far as the rooms, beautiful and spacious compared to other hotels in Europe. I also loved that their are only....maybe 20 rooms? The staff makes an effort to get to know you because when you leave the hotel, you have to leave the key with them. Another thing about the rooms is that they have BEAUTIFUL views. Absolutely breathtaking. If I come back to Venice, I'll definitely come back to this place.

Yelp
This place was fantastic. We stopped in Venice after visiting Paris and on our way to Florence/Tuscany. Admittedly, I take forever to book places, because I have to scout it out, read reviews, check maps, investigate pictures, etc - It's long, exhausting process and Venice was no different, all of the places we looked at had heavy floral drapes and over designed rooms - looked dark and musty. This place was/is incredible - so friendly, so authentic, but clean. We stayed on the top suite, it's almost designed like a fanciful oversized yacht, with maritime touches through out - but very tastefully, not themed. We walked through the hall, which was low lit, and to our door, you turn this skeleton style key with a huge tassel - the door opens and all I remember is the incredible palette of light - I was awestruck, I couldn't help but drop my bag and run to the window to look out. I will never forget the moment I opened the window and this punch of sea air swept in. It sounds crazy, but it was crazy, I immediately was transported into authentic Venice Italy.
