We had an outstanding stay at Hotel Bucintoro. The location is simply perfect – right on the waterfront with breathtaking views over the lagoon and Venice’s skyline. Waking up to see the gondolas and boats passing by was unforgettable. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a nautical style, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Everything felt thoughtful, from the little details in the design to the quality of the bedding. The staff made the experience even more special. They were warm, attentive, and always willing to help with directions, restaurant tips, or travel advice. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a good choice to suit everyone.

I can’t begin to say enough great things about Hotel Bucintoro and its incredible staff!! Especially Toni and Marco who were always there to greet you with a smile and great recommendations! They have someone at the front desk 24/7. Before we even arrived, the hotel staff assisted with so many of the logistics, including setting up a water taxi during the busy Venice film festival, as well as giving recommendations for amazing restaurants that we enjoyed during our time in Venice. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and treated very kindly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our 4 nights in Venice! The room and view were just as pictured and the water pressure in the waterfall shower was like no other I have ever experienced! The breakfast buffet spread was always delicious (meats, cheeses, pastries, variety of fruits) including some hot breakfast options (eggs and bacon) and coffee/espresso as well. ||You also can’t beat the location! You are only 10 minutes from Saint Mark’s Square and all the action in that area. Also conveniently located a few minutes walk from a vaporetto stop. There is a very nice neighborhood that was perfect for an afternoon and evening when we wanted to escape the crowds just a few steps from the hotel in the opposite direction of St. Marks Square. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an intimate experience with exceptional staff and a great location!

Fabulous location and so very comfortable. Excellent pillows and bed. Actually functioning air conditioning, which is important in August! Just loved this hotel. The staff went out of their way to be helpful! They helped me to contact a taxi company in my next destination where the drivers spoke German not Italian and with whom I was having an impossible time corresponding and speaking. The restaurant recommendations were wonderful and we had one of the very best meals of our entire trip of 28 days with their recommendation. Was really great and I will certainly be staying there again should I return. The breakfast if good if not remarkable and they are just a touch under staffed in the AM at times for breakfast but actually its not a complaint. A few things were a little slower than I might like but I stayed in no less than12 hotels on this trip and Bucintoro really stood out as a wonderful one.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August. It was absolutely fabulous. The view from our bedroom (room 302) was stunning. The breakfast was amazing, and all the staff were so friendly, a big thank you to the lovely lady in breakfast room for all the cappuccino’s 😃. Whilst in the midst of a busy city and so close to St. Mark’s square, it was a very relaxing hotel. We would definitely recommend it and return again.

My second time at this charming and wonderful hotel. It is right on the Grand Canal but a couple of blocks from the huge crowds you always find in Venice. The rooms are very comfortable and staff are fantastic(especially Stefano)! Five stars!!

He really did a great job of making sure we were welcomed and provided us with anything we needed. Overall great hospitality and service thank you Stefano! Also, thank you Antony and Murad for all your help ! We will always recommend to others to stay here during their trip to venice !! And thank you to the two lovely ladies who worked during breakfast. We were a family of 8. We took a family suite which was a double room and a suite, and another suite. The suites sleep 3 people - 2 on a king bed and another on a slim sofa bed. The rooms were nicely decorated in a nautical theme. Special shout out to Marco, Stefano and Murad. The staff helped us book all our sightseeing activities and restaurants. Amazing stay

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff was friendly, hotel was very clean, and had a beautiful patio overlooking the sea. Location is great, near the tourist spots but also far enough away that it isn’t super crowded in front of the hotel. Amazing restaurants near here as well. Would recommend!!

Yelp
Very friendly, cute, and the room and hotel had tons of character. The location of this hotel is ideal. You are close to the tourist locations on one side and to the other side, the locals. The views from the hotel are beautiful! The service was great- very helpful!

Yelp
This place was great. Super pricey but hey, When in Rome, right? My luggage got lost before arriving to the Venice airport and the people at the front desk were really friendly! They were calling for my suitcase at all hours of the day. As far as the rooms, beautiful and spacious compared to other hotels in Europe. I also loved that their are only....maybe 20 rooms? The staff makes an effort to get to know you because when you leave the hotel, you have to leave the key with them. Another thing about the rooms is that they have BEAUTIFUL views. Absolutely breathtaking. If I come back to Venice, I'll definitely come back to this place.

Yelp
This place was fantastic. We stopped in Venice after visiting Paris and on our way to Florence/Tuscany. Admittedly, I take forever to book places, because I have to scout it out, read reviews, check maps, investigate pictures, etc - It's long, exhausting process and Venice was no different, all of the places we looked at had heavy floral drapes and over designed rooms - looked dark and musty. This place was/is incredible - so friendly, so authentic, but clean. We stayed on the top suite, it's almost designed like a fanciful oversized yacht, with maritime touches through out - but very tastefully, not themed. We walked through the hall, which was low lit, and to our door, you turn this skeleton style key with a huge tassel - the door opens and all I remember is the incredible palette of light - I was awestruck, I couldn't help but drop my bag and run to the window to look out. I will never forget the moment I opened the window and this punch of sea air swept in. It sounds crazy, but it was crazy, I immediately was transported into authentic Venice Italy.
