Staff - Hotel receptionists were polite and helpful. They attempted to communicate clearly despite a language barrier, and one of them could speak fluent Chinese. Staff at the breakfast service, especially the omelette chef, were friendly and courteous.
Facilities - There were a variety of restaurants and shops (pastries, accessories) on the lower levels. There were vending and ice machines on multiple levels. However, take note that there is no microwave or utensils provided, so it is hard to heat up food in the hotel.
Cleanliness - Given the age of the hotel, the room was slightly worn down, but largely acceptable. Lift lobbies and corridors were well-maintained and well-lit. No major issues.
Comfort - Room is spacious, but the toilet is somewhat small. The bed was alright, but the pillows were too flat. You can ask for additional pillows from the receptionists.
Value - Although some areas were lacking, acceptable for its average price in Matsumoto.
Location - Matsumoto Station is accessible by foot within 15 min. There are convenience stores, places for lunch and dinner, and department stores nearby. You can ask the front desk receptionists to provide recommendations if they are available.
Breakfast - Decent for the price. I recommend ordering from the omelette chef.
