Hotel Bundelkhand Riverside

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the river view room. The gentle sound of the water provided a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere throughout our visit. Waking up to the scenic vista each morning was an absolute delight. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, offering everything we needed for a relaxing escape. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with a beautiful outlook. Mr. Bhagirath was really kind to show us the property amd explain the history behind the hotel and Orchha.

Absolutely wonderful heritage hotel in a large garden bordering the river Betwa. Counts among the better hotels but has preserved a personal and relaxed feeling. Very spacious. Quiet surroundings and no noise of traffic whatsoever. Pleasant co-existence with other guests. Some rooms need a little bit of maintenance (first cottage had issue with hot water but second room was very fine). Good cleaning and upkeep. Excellent and probably best restaurant of Orchha on site. Efficient and courteous staff, special thanks to mr. Ramgopal. Absolutely recommended as a base to unwind and recharge after visiting the many treasures of Orchha.

Excellent location, one can see and hear Betwa river flowing and also view the pristine jungle on the other side. Expansive and well maintained common areas are marked by beautiful land scaping and lawns. We stayed in the riverside rooms which are comfortable, well laid with period furniture and have a certain character to it. House keeping is good, could be better, rooms are a bit musty. Riverside cottages are comparatively recently made and fresher, but lack character, the shortcomings made up bybthe wonderful lawn in front of the cottages. Local staff is well trained and welcoming. Food is OK. Would have loved to try the in house spa, but had too many places to see in Orchha.... next time!

This is a hotel, which is worth the price, the staff are exceptional in providing care and listening to the guests need at every moment. As a father of a bride, I was exceptionally impressed by the detail in each and every aspect of the ceremonies which were looked after by the team to the minutiae detail. I would like to also highlight that the location of the cottages are excellent. the view from there to the river is mesmerizing, I congratulate the whole team supporting the vision of the management to make each aspect of experience worthwhile and cherished. Very beautiful resort. Clean and cozy room with enough space for two even three. Balcony open to riverside. a huge betwa river view and so peaceful in tge night and dawn to hear the flowing water sound from your balcony sitting on a chair. Food was amazing and on the affodable side given the kind of resort. Swimming pool was clean, staff beahviour was very courteous. Nice peaceful place. I would recommend you to really stay at this place if you r visiting orchaa.

It was a nice experience to stay at this hotel. Staff members were very cordial and helpful. The river view from room was the main attraction. The hotel is well maintained. Food was also very good. I will highly recommend to spend one or two nights here.
