Hotel Bussola di Hermes

I was lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Bussola. Rita and Christian who own the hotel were accommodating in every way along with the attentive, pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel is walking distance from shops and restaurants and a short taxi or bus ride from the port. The rooms were clean and the breakfast is served with love and has something for everyone. I would definitely return to Hotel Bussola!!

The only negative thing about our experience here was... that we failed to book at least 2-3 nights. We only had time for one night on Capri, but it was an unforgettable evening. Rita was extremely helpful from the jump, even when exchanging our first messages when we booked 3 months in advance. ||My girlfriend was not feeling well on the way into Sorrento, where we caught a ferry. Rita helped arrange people to help direct us at several locations, and gave us tips on how to find a good cabbie. Once we arrived, we were greeted with all the knowledge we needed to enjoy our stay on Capri. I took a 3 minute video of Rita giving us the run down on where to find busses, where to eat, and sights to see, all located on the very detailed map they offered us. We checked in and the room was delightful; great room temperature control and very inviting. The whole property was a bright, decorated display of what the island has to offer as a whole. ||Top-notch breakfast included, very reasonable rate. Round the clock service, so beverages are always accessible, with a nice variety. ||Upon checkout, we were given a private shuttle to the center of Anacapri, where we linked up with a very friendly taxi driver. All around a great experience.

Hotel Bussola is definitely worth a visit and worth every cent you pay for it. Rita (Host) and her staff is wonderful and very service minded. Breakfast was incredible, and you really feel like home.|Originally we were only staying for 2 nights but couldn’t help but stay for even longer. Location is incredible if you want easy access to the town of Anacapri and it’s restaurants, as well a 5 minute walk to a short bus ride to the beautiful beach of Faro. The hotel is very clean with modernistic features in a classic Mediterranean authentic style .

Such unbelievably kind staff, I can't remember the last time a hotel offered this much warmth and care. Everyone was incredibly helpful, had useful information to share, and ensured I had a great stay. Comfortable bed, very clean room, and quiet (neighborhood is very calm and quiet while still being close to the main street and bus stops) but you can hear a little bit of the voices of neighboring guests in case you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Great shower with plenty of hot water and strong water pressure, blackout blinds, great heating/cooling, and a nice breakfast in the morning! Will definitely return the next time I'm in Capri!

We stayed here for three days in May 2023 and enjoyed our stay immensely There hotel is in a quiet area 5 minutes walk from the centre of Anacapri. Our room was clean, well maintained and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, however the main reason I gave the hotel 5 stars is the staff. They were friendly, helpful and always able to advise and answer any questions|Recommend without reservation

Had the most amazing stay at Hotel Bussola in Capri. Rita and the rest of the staff were incredible, helped plan our boat ride and answered any questions we had. Really felt at home here and it was lovely that breakfast was included. 100% would stay again!

We were a big family group with children of different ages. The hotel was very well kept, and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. It was also conveniently located to the center of Anacapri and the bus stops to the different places of interest around the island of Capri. The best of all, though, was the service. Rita and her brother were not only nice and courteous, but extremely kind and helpful. They made our stay so much more pleasant and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend and come back. I wish we would've had more time.

this hotel is beautiful and the staff cannot do enough to assist. The breakfast was plentiful and very good quality. The filled croissants were exceptional! The location is excellent. Totally recomend
