Stay away from this hotel. It is filled with tourist groups who clog up the facilities especially the breakfast room and attention of staff. Check-in was quick but by an unsmiling front desk person who was like a robot. No personal chat, no offer of a beverage after a long journey, no offer of a fresh hand towel for your face and hands. No offer to assist with my bags. Just give me your identification and credit card before you get the room key. My room required navigating a near labyrinth on the 2nd floor. The room was tiny like a monk or nun's residence. And the wall and window coverings were on the dark side which made it smaller. It was nearly claustrophobic. Breakfast was a big disappointment since the mass tourists had flooded the dining room early. Nearly all foods were picked through. There were few kitchen folk refilling selections. And a place to seat? That was hard as the room was packed with tourists as well as dirty dishes of departed diners. And the departure? You give the key and get a receipt. Any offer of support to carry on my journey? No. The value for the money was poor. It cost nearly $280 for a tiny room in need of renovating, poor customer service and being subject to hundreds of tourists as well as a poor breakfast. Would I stay here again? Absolutely NOT. Would I recommend it to to others? Absolutely NOT.

Stayed 2 nights in this lovely hotel. Staff were very helpful, very central location (right near Arlanda Epress), across the street from Hop on Bus. The Ice Bar was fun to go for a drink, ask for hotel discount. The breakfast was spectacular with so many choices! Room had everything we required. Staff called a cab for us to the Cruise Terminal. I would recommend this hotel!

Disappointed with my experience at check in. I had booked a specific room type (standard room with double bed), but when I arrived late this evening, I was told I’d been “upgraded.” In reality, I was given an accessible room, which I didn’t request or need, and it wasn’t what I paid for. The room layout was not suitable for me, and I was not given the option to decline or any information about the change. After a long day of travel, this was quite frustrating. I was told that no other rooms were available that night and that I would be able to move to a different room the following day. I hope the hotel improves communication regarding room assignments in the future to ensure a better experience for all guests.

i did not stay at this hotel! just came for a meal at the restaurant and a drink at the icebar! the hotel is a couple steps away from the arlanda express so very easy to find! the food and service at the restaurant was amazing, the steak we had was delicious and the free bread was also very tasty and the dessert was very well presented! best meal we had while in Stockholm

We were in Stockholm for 3.5 days only and stayed in this popular hotel near the central station. It has many points to recommend it: the rooms are not grand, but at least they are deal with-able (meaning for north Americans: not too small) and relatively quiet. The morning buffet (included) is huge. Those who are on a budget or simply not sure what to do for lunch can simply load up here and devote the whole day (till dinner) to sightseeing. The lobby bar was jammed, but I didn't imbibe there.| "E" by the way means the ground floor in the elevator. | I went to the gym daily (ground floor) and found I was always thr only one there. The t v. By the way it that gym is huge--tyrn it on on the console itself, not using the remote.| One bad thing here: the shower has the half glass partition, meaning, water gets all over the place. So be warned.| We appreciated the late checkout at 1200.| Can walk from here to all old town sites.| For dinner, try the "press club" up the street (2000 beers!). The Persian restaurant "malakeh" is superb. Chinese restaurant "Hong kong" is also good (check the bill though). Cafe Nero at all locations is steady, dependable.| At the time we stayed, about $216 per night.| Enjoy!

Rooms are quite small but sound proof and very clean. Staff are lovely. Breakfast amazing. Train to Arlanda Airport right next door. Will definitely stay there again

I stayed at Hotel C Stockholm and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile.||The gym was good and well-equipped, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the breakfast – a great way to start the day.||The rooms are not very large, but they are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a short city stay. Overall, a solid choice for business or leisure in central Stockholm.

Very nice and modern hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is great with a lot of choices and fresh food. The only downside is that the room has no fridge.

Yelp
We had a day to kill before a wedding in Noors Castle, so we decided to stay a night in Stockholm. This place is right off the grand central stop for Arlanda Express (really only a hundred feet or so), making it easy to transfer from the airport! We booked it because it was affordable and convenient, but it was better than expected: they accommodated our check in at 9 (rather than the given 3), the water pressure and heat control in the bathroom was nice, and the complimentary breakfast was extensive!

Yelp
This was a perfect hotel in an absolutely perfect location. We were looking for something that wouldn't break the bank for an unplanned extra bonus night in Stockholm. Hotel C came up on Hotel Tonight as a very affordable option and walking distance to several restaurants and bars and a great parking garage right across the street. Speaking of bars, the much anticipated Ice Bar is actually in the same building as this hotel. If we hadn't been to the authentic one in Kiruna, we would definitely have taken advantage of that as well. When you first walk into the hotel it has a really stunning entrance with a restaurant and sitting area. A beautiful gold background with artistic globe lighting hanging from the ceiling was definitely impressive. This was only made better by a very friendly and helpful reception. Our room was spacious and very nice. We loved the bathroom which had a nice shower, soft towels, and heated towel holders. This and the generous check out time made for a most perfect evening. Sweet dreams to us!

Yelp
Hotel C Stockholm is perfectly located right outside the train station. The rooms are clean and modern, and the breakfast they offer is tasty. The staff are friendly and accommodating, but just be aware the hotel rooms can sometimes get hot without air conditioning or fans. Ironically enough there is an Ice Bar on the first floor which is a must visit if you have time! Overall I very much enjoyed my stay.

Yelp
Loved it so much, we came here twice. OK, that's not quite true. This hip-swinging hotel was actually booked for Jamie W. and me by a Scandinavian tour company as part of a Baltic Sea cruise/hotel package. It was our first exposure to what is cool about Stockholm and the last, and the impression hasn't left us. With its clear globe light fixtures hanging from the ceiling, the modern Swiss cheese-accented walls, and the circular central stairwell (photo: http://bit.ly/28JUCKz), it certainly gave us a full frontal assault of what contemporary Swedish design is about before we paid a visit to the House of Culture nearby. Adding to its cool factor (literally) is the highly publicized Icebar where everything is kept at 23-degrees Fahrenheit including the glasses made of ice. But alas, the Icebar was closed when we were there due to their annual thawing, so our opportunity to wear Arctic parkas while downing ice-cold vodka martinis was extinguished. Our room for the first night was in a standard double which was fine at 200 square feet, but the room we received for our last two nights in Sweden was a superior double which was about 270 square feet and spacious enough for us to repack our bags for the journey home with ease (photo: http://bit.ly/28JYla2). According to the hotel's website, the standard double goes for 1,466 KR, while the rate for the superior double is 1,641 KR. Definitely worth the premium if you ask me. The bar and lounge area downstairs always seemed to be packed with locals and travelers alike (photo: http://bit.ly/28LeF07). We only tried the restaurant during the complimentary breakfast buffet and have to admit we were quite impressed with the variety of delicious food available and their ability to accommodate quite a few guests at the same time without crowding us at the same tables (photo: http://bit.ly/28K8cgv). The standards reminded me of Japan which is high praise indeed. The location is pretty ideal considering it's right next to the Arlanda Express to the airport and the Central Station, and it's within easy walking distance from such local landmarks as the Gamla stan and the Stockholm Stadshus. I found the staff very accommodating, and we were well informed by the knowledgeable concierge who was full of good advice on how to navigate the city easily and how to group attractions together for maximum efficiency. Special kudos go to the kitchen staff for preparing and packaging a special takeaway breakfast for us on our last morning there since we had to leave for the airport at 4AM (photo: http://bit.ly/28JYkmx). We would definitely come back on our next visit to Sweden.

Yelp
Hotel C is located in the most convenient spot in Stockholm. It's practically the first thing you'll see when you step out of Arlanda Express train. We arrived four hours earlier than expected so we just waited at the lobby and ate lunch until there was an available room for us. The staff was helpful and accomodating, they were able to give us an available room at 2pm so it was nice. The room was at the 7th floor and it was pretty spacious than I expected. Breakfast buffet was a delight. There were so many options to choose from and we pretty much walked out of the dining room with a full stomach every morning. They also had water near the reception/elevators so you can just fill up your cups or bottle before going back to your room. Sometimes they would also put slices of oranges in the water so it was refreshing. If there was any negative to say about the hotel, it would probably be the smell of the towels and linens. It didn't smell "fresh" even when they gave us a new set of towels but it wasn't so much of a problem. And since we were at the highest floor, the ceiling/wall by the bed was slanted so we accidentally kept on bumping our heads multiple times whenever we forgot to slightly bend to the side lol. Also wish the room had a mini refrigerator and microwave. Like I mentioned earlier, the location of the hotel is so convenient since it's in the center of Stockholm so transportation was so much easier. The hop-on-and-hop-off bus, bus terminal, train station, Arlanda Express, etc. was literally less than 5 minutes away by foot. There were a lot of restaurants nearby (walking distance), so we pretty much just ordered take out and ate inside our room our entire stay. Overall we had a great experience in this hotel. Would definitely recommend this place for others as I would definitely come back here again. (I wish I took more proper photos so I could share with you all but I totally forgot! I only remembered just before checking out.)

Yelp
We stayed here two nights while visiting Stockholm and we absolutely loved this hotel. First thing first : if you arrive by plane to Arlanda Airport, the hotel location is just fantastic : it's just 5 minutes from the platform of the Arlanda Express. You cannot get closer, except if you sleep on the train :p The staff at reception was really friendly. We booked an economic double room through Booking. Our room was on 7th floor and was clean, full of light, modern and cosy. We don't get their thing with the double bed with two single duvets (we had the same in an hotel in Vienna) but the bed was really confy. The room was soundproof (or the hotel was really quiet :)). There is an hairdryer and towels, shower gel/lotion were also provided. There were also an iron, an iron board and a safe. Wifi is free. The first morning, we were completely amazed when we arrived in the breakfast room ! The only thing missing was cinnamon rolls ! Apart from that, they had different kinds of bread, pain au chocolat, croissants, fresh fruits, pancakes, eggs, ham, etc. The food looked great and tasted great too ! We didn't try the coffee but the only green tea they had was not great (some green tea citrus teabag from Lipton). They had fresh oranges for you to squeeze or regular orange or apple juice. Also some strawberry smoothie. The hotel is perfectly located next to the Central Station. It was easy to stroll around the city from this place ! We took the bus 69 to visit Skansen and Vasamuseet and we walked to Gamla Stan and other parts of the city. The checkout was also flawless. We asked if they could store our luggage while we were enjoying our last day in town and they have a luggage room where they store your luggage. The good thing is the customers don't have access to the luggage : the guy from the reception took our luggage and gave us a voucher with a number on it and when you come back, they bring you your luggage. We loved our stay in this hotel and strongly recommend it !

Yelp
This is the perfect base to explore Stockholm from! Located right beside the Arlanda Express, this place couldn't be easier for you to get to from Arlanda Airport. It's also only a five minute walk to Stockholm's main shopping street so you won't have to spend any money on transport as you can explore the city on foot from here! The only criticism I have is that the rooms are on the small side, but I didn't feel that this warranted me taking a whole star off as everything else was great. The rooms are clean and the hotel is very modern, with a funky bar at the front and an ice-bar attached to the back of the hotel. The breakfast here was the icing on the cake though as I literally couldn't fault it. Everything you can imagine was included, from cold and cooked meats, to pastries, breads and even fresh pancakes! If you are looking for a clean, modern, central hotel at a reasonable price Nordic C ticks all the boxes!

Yelp
Decided to treat myself since I had a 17 hours layover in Stockholm. Glad I did. Deo and Jesper at the front desk were fantastic. Full of little tips and places to go to and they cracked me up all at the same time. My room is nice. Immaculate and stylish. Personally, I don't need a huge room - some people might find it small if more than 1-2 people though. Went to Icebar and despite the sticky ass floor, was a blast. Coolest place ever (hahahahahaha)! Super closer to central bus station and stores. So glad I came here instead of trying to sleep at the airport!!

Yelp
I love this hotel. I usually stay here cause it's close to pretty much everything. The main reason I stay here is when I have flights in the early morning from Stockholms airport (arlanda) since the hotel is located right next door to the airport express train. Staff is friendly, rooms are small but ok. All beds are Hästen Beds which is amazing and super comfy. So comfy in fact that I've overslept and missed my flight. Oh well, shit happens.

Yelp
I don't know why this place is called Nordic Light Hotel in yelp, probably it was an old name, but the new name is Hotel C Stockholm. We booked two nights here for our weekend in Stockholm and we found the price through their website was much cheaper than other booking sites, with the breakfast option and all, so we did. We came at 11am on a Friday, expected that we could only leave our luggage but we were surprised that we could check in immediately. Fantastic. The room was of modest size (I had double economic room, with a window!). Many hotels in Stockholm have more choices in hotel rooms and the cheapest ones are often without windows. A lot of people in trip advisor complained about how small the room size in this hotel, but we've been to Japan - the champion country in tiny hotel rooms, and for us, it's just fine. We had a bathtub in our room and the bathroom size was good. No complaint about the room whatsoever Breakfast was abundant and I must say it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in European hotels. So many choices from cold to warm breakfast and there's something for everyone. They even have lactose-free smoothie so I was overjoyed. If you are planning to stay in this hotel, get the hotel breakfast option - you won't regret it. This hotel also has THE ice bar, but we didn't try it. The only downside was probably the gym. They wrote they had gym facility but in reality, they work together with SATS gym around the corner. Hotel guests still have free access to it, but it's not as convenient as it was an on-site hotel facility. Oh well, you can't have everything. The location is perfect, as in next to the central station, and the entrance is right on the Arlanda Express entrance. You can't miss it. I would stay here again if I could.

Yelp
My family stayed here during our travel to Stockholm and we really enjoyed it. Firstly, the customer service is incredible: the front desk helped us with everything. The location of the hotel is perfect: right next to the train Central station and walking distance to the main square. The room had comfy beds and was clean and big. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast was superb: the best we've eaten in Europe. Amazing selection of cheeses, breads, jams, eggs, sausages, meats, and even smoothies. 10/10 stay, definitely recommend.

Yelp
Was here for a few days for business. Overall the hotel was slightly below average. For example there was no iron in my room but there was an ironing board. I requested one but it was never delivered so I was stuck with a somewhat wrinkled shirt for the next day. Also the breakfast was a bi of a cluster no one there to seat you. Basically just head to the buffet get what you want and find a seat. Pretty sure you could eat there even if you weren't staying at the hotel. The rooms were clean so that was good Overall it did the job but that's about it

Yelp
This place is FABULOUS! The staff is honest and hospitable! They went above and beyond to accommodate. At breakfast a server was extra hospitable. She was Filipino and I believe her name was Jorinda. To the point we felt as though we were at her house. Alex and Kerry and staff at the front desk are amazing! We tried to tip them but they adamantly refused. Talking about making us feel special. I left my iPad in the room 2 days ago. I thought I left if at the airport. My husband said just ask at the front desk and see what they say. I'm so glad I did. Alex made a phone call and thanks to my God Jehovah and their honesty I have it back.

Yelp
I stayed as prenight for Baltic cruise. Single bed room was great, had window, tub, tv. Breakfast fantastic taste, selection, setting. Check in agent extremely helpful giving me directions to walk to kings garden park. Extremely lovely experience. Would definitely stay again. Before I arrived, I emailed manager for question about directions and she responded asap, which I appreciated. Charming lobby for relaxing and people watching.

Yelp
Our one-week stay at Hotel C in Stockholm was nearly perfect. The hotel is very conveniently located next to Arlanda Express and Central Station, so it's easy to get to/from the airport and easy to connect to trains for excursions outside the city. All the popular sightseeing spots are within walking distance. One of the best things about this hotel is its incredible breakfast, which was included in our room rate. The breakfast room is very large and the food selection was great and of very good quality. We had a standard room with a window. The beds were probably the most comfortable I've experienced. The room was clean, the towels were thick and soft, and the bathing supplies were plentiful. The Ice Bar is located here, but we did not go to it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative I have is that the breakfast hours were listed incorrectly on our key card envelope and the closet space was small. I highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Stockholm.

Yelp
I like the Hotel location, from the Arlanda Airport we took Arlandaexpress tran and the tran stopped us in the centra of Stockholm opposite the Nordic Sea Hotel. It is very easy to locate...
