Hotel Cà Zusto Venezia (Venice, Veneto) Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the mind of today’s traveler there’s hardly a destination that’s more classically Italian than Venice. But there was a time when this seafaring city was the gateway to the East, and it’s from precisely this exotic aspect — and, more broadly, from Venice’s history as a maritime power and a cultural crossroads — that Domina Home Cà Zusto draws its inspiration." - Tablet Hotels

I'm really happy I picked this hotel! The location is ideal, making it easy to get to the airport and railway station with our large luggage. It's close to supermarkets and within walking distance of many attractions. Additionally, it's near the vaporetto station. The bed is comfortable, and the towels provided are clean and adequate. The breakfast is unexpectedly generous and satisfying. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, just a 5 minute walk from the station. Quiet location with restaurants and shops close by. Excellent staff, lovely breakfast, large funky rooms with clean comfy beds. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to. I would stay here again for sure! Venice was amazing and the hotel and staff were too! Thank you 🙏🏻

Definitely nice to stay somewhere that was built in the 1400’s. However I would not count this as a 4 star hotel, there are no accommodations that scream elegance.. our room was 1/2 cleaned without changing sheets and towels that were clearly left dirty on the floor and was hoping to have changed out, unfortunately not the case. Breakfast was ok.. have to pay for your own water, and the bathroom was lacking basic supplies. I have to say that the check in staff were accommodating after being put into a room with known AC issues in 90 degree weather. I would say 2-3 star hotel is more appropriate.

Beautiful quirky luxurious hotel less than 10 minutes from the train station and 5 mins from the nearest water vaporetto. 22 minutes to St Marks Square by foot, even less to the Riato Bridgemmmmit was the PERFECT location.Recently refurbished and delightful room. Breakfast was typical Italian. The desk staff were the best...really friendly and kemmwnet out of their way to make sure you were enjoying your stay in Venice.

We recently stayed here as a family of four in their family suite. A queen and two single beds. The room was huge and very clean. The A/C worked like a charm because it was in the 90s while we were here so extremely hot. ||The staff was so welcoming and helpful and was able to provide advice about different restaurant and local sites. ||It is an easy 10 minute walk to the Santa Lucia train station and 10-15 minutes to the Rialto Bridge. A little bit tucked away from the madness of St Mark’s square, but that is what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to stay out of the hustle and bustle and in |a quiet neighborhood.

A real gem, very well finished hotel with excellent breakfast options. ||We enjoyed cooked eggs and fresh tomatoes. Meats and cheeses, always pleases :) Cereal, fruit, cakes and yogurts. Wonderful coffee and fantastic, attentive service.||We enjoyed the Deluxe triple room which had a very comfy large bed, bigger than a Kingsize, and a sofa bed for our son. It was spotless and cleaned daily, with shower gel and hand soap provided. Free tea and coffee and kettle. ||The reception and staff were always friendly and so helpful, even letting us put keep our luggage there on our final day until it was time to catch our flight. Even though the fridge was broken when we arrived it was replaced as soon as we reported it. Could not ask for better customer service.||Location was about 10-15 walk from the Rialto bridge, but the local square and shops were much more delightful to explore than the more touristy areas. There is a Coop supermarket 5 mins away, an ice cream shop and a fantastic bakery with awesome cakes.||I cannot recommend enough.

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and very well air conditioned. The water was hot and the water pressure was excellent. Standard buffet breakfast with plenty of options. Very quick and easy walk to any of the attractions that Venice has to offer!

Hotel Cà Zusta was 8 mins walk from S. Lucia station & even closer to the Grand Canal. Staff were friendly, flexible & helpful. The rooms clean but cosy. We are travelling for 3 months & had trouble finding floor space for our one medium sized suitcase + 1 carry-on + 2 back packs. The bathroom was disappointing with no shelving & the seal on the bottom of the shower door letting water out onto the floor. Breakfast offered a good selection although we had limited choices. We would normally choose porridge, bircher muesli or good quality Granola - NOT Kellogs!

Yelp
A very pleasant property. An old Venetian building cleverly converted to a boutique hotel with cheerful, colorful decoration, but most of all a very helpful front desk staff it is very convenient to excellent restaurants store, etc., but enough off the main path that you're not swamped with activity all the time. Very much enjoyed our stay there, and would certainly go back.

Yelp
This is one of the cutest hotels I've ever stayed in! Easy to arrive by water taxi. Checked in a little early and waited in the colorful common area. Love the staff here. Everyone is so sweet. WiFi is not the best, like most places in Venice. Unfortunately I was given the room RIGHT next to this dining space... luckily I didn't have trouble sleeping when people got rowdy in the evenings. The room itself was small (as expected for a solo traveler) and had all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay. This was the first hotel in Venice where electrical outlets were next to the bed. Thank goodness. I didn't get to try the breakfast but hear it's tasty. Will definitely check out Airbnb options next time, but as far as Venice hotels go, this one is worth booking again.

Yelp
A definite gem! It's about 10-15 mins walk from the train station and about a 2 min walk from a waterbus stop. It's a little tough to make out on the exterior but once you find it you'll welcomed with great service. The hotel is on a smaller scale, definitely more of a boutique. Some highlights to take to account: - It's about 15 min walk to Rialto market - It's about 20 mins walk to Piazza San Marco - Free breakfast - Quite neighborhood - Uniquely designed - Water bus nearby The Negs: - Slow WiFi - Little of a walk to some main attractions

Yelp
Once you figure out where the hotel is and orient yourself, the city of Venice is pretty easy to navigate. Just about one block away from the Riva di Biasa vaporetto stop, we were conveniently one stop away from the train station and only a few stops from the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. +Breakfast buffet included +One stop away from St Lucia station +Helped book dinner reservations +Free wi-fi, although requires ethernet cable -In some rooms, there's only a half inch barrier that forms around the shower area to prevent water from escaping into the rest of the bathroom tiles. It doesn't work!! -Ground floor rooms open directly onto street level

Yelp
Great hotel for the price. Sort of hidden in a secret alleyway, but once you get to know the area, you start to appreciate the local/familial aspect outside the central aspect of venice. The two staff that are always on are especially nice and helpful and the breakfast spread is amazing!!! Your room always looks super clean when you come back and surprises like floor mats and slippers await! Only con is that wifi is on one floor so you have to chill in a lounge to use it! Hotel is really close to the train station... 10 min walk or one stop on the 1 boat line. Also really close to lots of great food and grocery store.

Yelp
This is an awesome hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous and clean. The wifi needs some work. It is close enough to walk to any place or catch a water taxi.

Yelp
Hotel was hard to find, even our porter had difficulty. Hotel is nice and in good location but had the most uncomfortable beds and pillows I've ever used. That being said, I never complained to see if anything could be done. But, I've also slept better on the floor of a tent. My husband and I had difficultly sleeping for the 3 nights we were there even though we Benedryled ourselves. They also had a nice free breakfast and wifi was only available from the breakfast lobby.

Yelp
This hotel is very close to the train station...do not take a taxi. The hotel is great. The rooms are charming. The breakfast was great. They had gluten free biscuits for me :-). There is wi fi, but not in the rooms, but it is Venice, who needs wi-fi. The staff is very helpful and have great tips.
