A beautiful boutique hotel welcomed with genuine warmth from the hosts. We received an upgrade to a very comfortable room on 3rd floor. Room is well organized for our convenience with sufficient closet space and very very clean. The hotel is situated at a prime location too. Minutes walk from the train and ferry stations, and just a short walk into Venice center. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so it’s great for winding down after a long day exploration outside. We will come back for another stay next time when we visit Venice again! (Photo - View from our room.)

Had an expensive item stolen from our luggage from this hotel. We stored our luggage at the hotel for the day as we had an evening flight leaving Venice. The hotel staff left our belongings in a hallway after telling us it would be safe in a room. We did not receive any compensation and the staff was not helpful at all in trying to help us recover our item. They were not trust worthy in handling our personal items. In response to your reply. We called the hotel 15 minutes after leaving to the airport. We can only make police reports in person and we had an upcoming flight that we couldn’t afford to miss. Your lack of response to our direct email has prompted a public negative review. Please increase your professionalism and respond to us privately.

This hotel is exceptional because of the great staff that works there. My wife had a medical emergency and the staff was extremely caring, supportive, helpful, and professional. They made a way for me to stay far beyond my original plans due to my wife's condition and stay at the hospital. The hotel is very neat, clean, and quiet. Ten stars. Thank you all !!!

An odd little hotel in many ways but I grew to love it. Its buried in the Santa Croce region and is pretty hard to find. The room was clean and reasonably well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would guess that this hotel has been recently refurbished and it looks like they did a pretty good job of it. There is a very nice little piazza close by with several restaurants and a supermarket. I would stay here again if I ever went back to Venice.

The location of the hotel is great (3 minutes walk to the water taxi station and 8 minutes to the train station). There are lovely local bars around the hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed too. The rooms are spacious but the light in the room is too less. We managed with our window open and we hardly stayed in and hence, was not a big issue for us. The staff was very friendly and assisted us at their best.

This hotel was in a quiet part of town, a block and a half from the water bus and several blocks from the main train station. It’s an unpretentious place, but very clean, safe, and everyone on staff was just great. Each and every one at the front desk was totally helpful and greeted us with a smile all the time. |It is not in the heart of town, and walking to the Rialto bridge area and San Marco square is like figuring out a complex maze( a water bus is sort of essential- but a joy as well). |There are many lovely bistros within a few block radius of the hotel.|All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with our 2-night stay at Hotel Ca' Zusto Venezia! We felt the location was great, very quiet and safe. The staff was very friendly and always greeted us as we were leaving and returning to the hotel. Our room was a great size, and the bathroom was spacious as well. My husband is very tall, and the shower was the perfect size for him! We stayed in the "Classic, King" room and it had the most comfortable bed of our Italy trip! ||The only improvement I would make to the hotel is to serve a free breakfast. We booked through Capital One and it indicated there was free breakfast with our stay; however, we never saw a cafe, nor did the staff mention breakfast hours. This was not a set-back to our trip by any means, simply an observation!

DO NOT BOOK here!!!! I cannot recommend this hotel. We went in May. Small rooms. They only give you one key card for the room. The lights do not work unless the key card is placed into a slot in the room. If ur partner leaves the room with the key card all the lights turn off. You have to ask for another key.||We were supposed to have a king bed but it was actually two small beds pushed together. Not comfortable.||There is an AC control in the room which does not work. The air conditioning is controlled at the front desk. So you have to go to the front desk every time you want to turn on your AC in your room. The front desk person usually says it is cold enough but you have to insist that you want it colder. Once the a/c is turned on it does get cold.||They have a free breakfast which is okay.||

Yelp
A very pleasant property. An old Venetian building cleverly converted to a boutique hotel with cheerful, colorful decoration, but most of all a very helpful front desk staff it is very convenient to excellent restaurants store, etc., but enough off the main path that you're not swamped with activity all the time. Very much enjoyed our stay there, and would certainly go back.

Yelp
This is one of the cutest hotels I've ever stayed in! Easy to arrive by water taxi. Checked in a little early and waited in the colorful common area. Love the staff here. Everyone is so sweet. WiFi is not the best, like most places in Venice. Unfortunately I was given the room RIGHT next to this dining space... luckily I didn't have trouble sleeping when people got rowdy in the evenings. The room itself was small (as expected for a solo traveler) and had all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay. This was the first hotel in Venice where electrical outlets were next to the bed. Thank goodness. I didn't get to try the breakfast but hear it's tasty. Will definitely check out Airbnb options next time, but as far as Venice hotels go, this one is worth booking again.

Yelp
A definite gem! It's about 10-15 mins walk from the train station and about a 2 min walk from a waterbus stop. It's a little tough to make out on the exterior but once you find it you'll welcomed with great service. The hotel is on a smaller scale, definitely more of a boutique. Some highlights to take to account: - It's about 15 min walk to Rialto market - It's about 20 mins walk to Piazza San Marco - Free breakfast - Quite neighborhood - Uniquely designed - Water bus nearby The Negs: - Slow WiFi - Little of a walk to some main attractions

Yelp
Once you figure out where the hotel is and orient yourself, the city of Venice is pretty easy to navigate. Just about one block away from the Riva di Biasa vaporetto stop, we were conveniently one stop away from the train station and only a few stops from the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. +Breakfast buffet included +One stop away from St Lucia station +Helped book dinner reservations +Free wi-fi, although requires ethernet cable -In some rooms, there's only a half inch barrier that forms around the shower area to prevent water from escaping into the rest of the bathroom tiles. It doesn't work!! -Ground floor rooms open directly onto street level

Yelp
Great hotel for the price. Sort of hidden in a secret alleyway, but once you get to know the area, you start to appreciate the local/familial aspect outside the central aspect of venice. The two staff that are always on are especially nice and helpful and the breakfast spread is amazing!!! Your room always looks super clean when you come back and surprises like floor mats and slippers await! Only con is that wifi is on one floor so you have to chill in a lounge to use it! Hotel is really close to the train station... 10 min walk or one stop on the 1 boat line. Also really close to lots of great food and grocery store.

Yelp
This is an awesome hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous and clean. The wifi needs some work. It is close enough to walk to any place or catch a water taxi.

Yelp
Hotel was hard to find, even our porter had difficulty. Hotel is nice and in good location but had the most uncomfortable beds and pillows I've ever used. That being said, I never complained to see if anything could be done. But, I've also slept better on the floor of a tent. My husband and I had difficultly sleeping for the 3 nights we were there even though we Benedryled ourselves. They also had a nice free breakfast and wifi was only available from the breakfast lobby.

Yelp
This hotel is very close to the train station...do not take a taxi. The hotel is great. The rooms are charming. The breakfast was great. They had gluten free biscuits for me :-). There is wi fi, but not in the rooms, but it is Venice, who needs wi-fi. The staff is very helpful and have great tips.
