Hotel Cabañas La Teca

This hotel was satisfactory. The cabins were cute and clean with TV, fridge and AC that worked well. The bed was fine. The bathroom needed upgrades with cracked tiles with jagged edges, a pool of water on the floor from a leaking shower. The pool was enjoyed by families staying in the cabins but it is in need of upgrading and did not appear clean. The food was typical food and was quite nice. The area was very industrial. The communication was good and the manager seemed to do all the work and was pleasant. We stayed for one night before heading to the airport.

Location is tucked away and feels very safe and quiet. The secure tall sliding wooden gate is closed at night. The people were so kind and friendly. The bungalows are just right and very clean. The pool is small but just fine for cooling off in and for kids to play in. They have a little bar restaurant on site and breakfast is provided. We thought this would be a perfect place for a family gathering where people have their own little bungalow and a place to have meals together. It is definitely an economical deal and we would stay here again!

A beautiful off the beaten track resort. Beautiful wood cabins, pool, restaurant. Popular with kids and Ticos on the weekends, great food, friendly accommodating staff, can arrange a ride to airport. Breakfast included. Even a resident cat Luna! We loved our 2 night stay.

Toilet didn't work & at night there were tons of ants. The manager was pretty rude & acted annoyed at pretty much any interaction with him. The cabin we had was very large 3 dbl beds & a single bunk. TV, fridge & AC. Nice pool with waterfall & tiny one for the kids. Food was decent, typical Tico breakfast. Price was a little up there and was pretty sure the owner was lying about ours being the only one available when for 2 days I didnt see any other guests.

We flew into Liberia and arrived rather late in the evening. The hotel provided us with a ride, a late dinner, and quick check in after a long day of traveling. The room was clean, the pool refreshing, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Meals were inexpensive and delicious. The hotel also provided us with a ride back to the airport the following day so we could pick up our rental car. The rides to/from the airport were less expensive than shuttle or taxi options. The location is a little off the main road, and requires careful navigation, especially in the dark. However, it a hidden gem that was great for relaxing in after lengthy traveling the day before.

Hotel is in bit weird location. Not far from highway but little off. Rooms were clean but smelly like it was not used for long time. Staff were friendly and nice. This hotel is okay if you are staying for very short period of time.

This is an adorable resort. The owner is so nice and accommodating. He will even drive you around for a small fee. This is where we stayed when our flight got delayed 19 hours. We loved this place. The owner built everything himself. He’s American or Canadian, so is super helpful if you need anything. The grounds are wonderfully kept. Every room is like a little oasis and it’s own cabin. The food is amazing too!

Very nice rustic cabins, but rustic meaning quaint and nice, NOT rustic as a code word for crummy. Quite a charming little surprise. Great shower with hot water and good water pressure, which is always a plus. Comfortable bed, strong fan, and AC to each cabin. Ground are great, especially if you have kids. Feels Only major suggestion would be a room safe, which they may offer, but we did not find one in our cabin. We will definitely come back.
