If you are staying on Capri, there is truly no better place to stay than the Caesar Augustus Hotel. ||Location:|Main Capri can get very busy during the day with day trippers. Anacapri has so much charm and is less than a 5 mins walk. Plus the views from higher up on the island in Anacapri are stunning! ||Hotel:|When you drive up to the property the building itself is gorgeous! Inside it’s cozy and you immediately feel at home. The main patio has the best views on the island and every afternoon we enjoyed cocktails there which were also always delicious! ||The rooms are each unique - spacious, comfortable beds and extremely clean! ||Dinner at the main restaurant is delicious! Best food we had the whole time in Capri. Wine selection is superb and they are wonderful at helping you make a selection for your meal. We enjoyed our meal so much the first night we cancelled reservations at another restaurant to return the following evening. ||Staff: |The staff is what truly sets this stunning property apart from other hotels. The entire front desk and concierge team (shoutout to Francesca!) made our trip seamless from confirming dinner reservations, calling taxis, booking a hair appt at a local salon, to confirming details with our private boat captain the day we departed. No request ever felt like a bother and they were genuinely friendly! ||We’ve stay at plenty of Rosewood and Belmond properties and the Caesar Augusts is just as impressive!

It's a tranquil oasis perfect for couples seeking romance and relaxation. The sunsets from the hotel's bar and restaurants are beyond incredible - truly some of the most spectacular views we've ever experienced. We loved how the hotel maintains its peaceful ambiance with gentle reminders to respect the tranquility - it really enhances the experience for everyone. Dining Recommendations The hotel's dining is excellent, but we highly recommend asking the staff for authentic restaurant recommendations in Anacapri for at least one evening. This hotel has now surpassed The Post Ranch Inn as my all-time favorite hotel. We were upgraded from a deluxe room to a junior suite on the cliff overlooking the ocean, with a beautiful balcony. Stupendous, exceeding any other place I have stayed. But it gets better. The public spaces — the terrace, the pool, the indoor common areas, the gym and gardens — were among the most beautiful I have ever seen. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have enjoyed in almost a thousand stays, and our dinner in the main restaurant (overlooking the ocean) was extraordinarily good. But it gets even better. The staff was perfect in every way, the best of the best. As a small example, my wife said the balsamic vinegar that they served in the restaurant was the best she had ever tasted. When we returned to our room the next day, we were gifted a bottle of the splendid balsamic. This place is as close to vacation heaven as I have ever experienced.

We stayed at Caesar Augustus for two nights on our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. We wished we had stayed for more. While Capri was quite busy, staying in Anacapri at Caesar Augustus was quiet and amazing. Our room overlooked the sea, offering absolutely breathtaking views. The gym was outside, and though it was small, it had brand-new Technogym equipment. Antonella, who managed everything, was amazing and helped us coordinate a private dinner. The pool area was also fantastic, with great sun coverage, an infinity pool overlooking the water, and excellent poolside dining. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful, and our room, complete with a balcony, was perfect. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed the incredible views from the terrace, swimming pool, and restaurants. We hosted a wedding for my son and new daughter in law at the hotel. ||Spectacular event, beautiful sunset & wonderful meal. ||Overall I gave it a five, but for the price I would expect the staff to be on top of everything. ||We met fun people and loved the pool. Breakfast was a spectacular spread. ||A couple things happened to spoil the evening of the wedding, but things happen.

Our stay at the Caesar Augustus exceeded expectations in every way. Perched dramatically on a cliffside overlooking the island of Capri, the setting is nothing short of breathtaking. The hotel itself exudes old-world charm, and the staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive throughout our visit.||Each morning began with a generous breakfast buffet offering a wide selection—from fresh fruits, cheeses, and cured meats to eggs, exquisite pastries, and decadent cakes. The infinity pool was a stunning highlight, but even more magical was the hidden pathway below it—a romantic, winding trail that led through vineyards and orchards to a scenic overlook above the sea.||A luxurious rosemary steam room was available daily for guests seeking relaxation, adding yet another indulgent touch to the experience. Just a short walk uphill brought us to the town of Anacapri—quaint, charming, and refreshingly authentic, with excellent restaurants and a cozy small-town atmosphere.||One of the most memorable moments of our trip was riding the chairlift to the summit of Monte Solaro. The views from the top were unforgettable—panoramic vistas of the surrounding islands and boats far below.||Our time on Capri was truly spectacular, and the Caesar Augustus was the crown jewel of our vacation. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Special kudos to Antonella who found my luggage lost by Air France. She went the extra mile for me.

Start with the fact that top-of-mountain Anacapri is the place to stay if you're not a partier--tranquil, uncrowded, most dramatic and gorgeous views, yet easy to taxi down to Capri and the water. The Caesar Augustus provides all the above in ultra- luxury and despite its "augustness" surprisingly friendly not stuffy staff. Bountiful and delicious morning buffets. Outdoor workout area. Irresistible infinity pool perched on cliff. In May it was lovely 70 degree weather and relatively well-priced. (Of course booking boats from the concierge carries a premium compared to collecting business cards down on the dock.) Overall: Spectacular.

This is the most wonderful hotel. Away from the busiest part of the island, the views are spectacular and the grounds peaceful. We stayed in the Vesuvio Suite with amazing views from every room. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, personable and seamlessly handled all requests. The 5 star service started before we arrived, coordinating transfers, a boat charter and booking restaurant reservations. On site, we were able to use their shuttle service for certain destinations. Great recommendations for restaurants and the hotel restaurant is incredibly good! We would stay here again in a minute. Thanks to the entire staff for their kind hospitality. Until next time!!

I don't have the words, CA is an absolute paradise. I have been describing it as "heaven on earth". We just came back from our honeymoon in Capri. We stayed a little over a week in Capri Town and about a week at the CA in AnnaCapri. I didn't want to leave. We booked the Chef's table at Terrazza di Lucullo, woke up to breakfast's on our private terrace, enjoyed our days in the stunning swimming pool sipping cocktails and eating oysters. We walked their gardens and snuck a few of their cherry tomatoes. We cancelled a few of our dinner reservations because we did not want to leave the property. To top it off, CA is located in AnnaCapri and fully accessible by taxi. So you don't need to walk much while here. You can also take a boat to Fontelina from here, taxi to Paolino or Il Riccio and enjoy a very easy stroll to Zuma. This is it for Capri. I can see the equivalent notoriety of Punta Tragara because of the Faraglioni view, but it loses to CA in all remaining categories. You don't have to take my word for it, you will regret it yourself on your first sweaty hike to your PT hotel lobby.

My husband and I have enjoyed a beautiful three night stay at this spectacular hotel. Every one of the hotel staff have been extremely professional, polite, and helpful. We would especially like to thank our server, Lucia. She always welcomed us to each meal with a big bright smile. I've stayed at one of the other 5 star hotels in Capri which I thought was amazing with fantastic service until I stayed at the Cesar. The owner Francesco is very humble and generous with his time and willingness to accommodate the guests. Paolo was the front reception who checked me in and gave me the tour, he was a fantastic well mannered host. I booked the second best type of suite and when I got to the hotel they were able to upgrade me to the penthouse suite which was breathtaking. The view from the room and the outdoor terrace blew me away. The best room and view in all of capri. Dinner was fantastic as well and reasonably priced. Will definitely return and will recommend to all my friends. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

If you want a sneak peek of Heaven the Ceasar Augustus is the place to come. The hotel is truly magical. This is my 5th stay here and some how the Signorini Family continues to improve on perfection. The staff is friendly and happy to accommodate any request. The restaurant is one of the best on the Ilse of Capri. I can wait to return ASAP. Thank you all for another amazing visit.

There are very few hotels that I would be inclined to leave a review three years after I left the hotel, however, this is one of them. The infinity pool is breathtaking. It is even prettier than it appears on the hotel website. The whole property is great and the staff is very courteous. It is about pricey, but so is everything in Capri. Anacapri is also a nice place to be situated. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but you are out of the hustle and bustle of Capri. Take the chair lift near the hotel, the views are wonderful. They also have a bar at the top of the lift so you can have a drink while looking at the pretty views. While in Capri, make sure you take a boat tour of the Amalfi coast. I have never seen anything more beautiful in my life. If you can afford it, splurge for a private tour. If you are looking to go to Capri, I am jealous because I can't wait to go back.

From the moment you arrive you a swept away to a magical place. The beauty of the island sling with the amazing residence turned five start hotel is something out a movie. Francesco Signorini, the owners son went out of his way to greet us, tell us the history and show us the beautiful Hotel Caesar Augustus. We will return again indeed. Incredible view, Incredible Service, Incredible everything! Wonderful hotel in Anacapri. Francesco, the owner, will make sure all your needs are met. The hotel grounds are lovely. The pool is a must. If you want a quiet, relaxing, luxurious stay, away from the hussle and bussle of Capri, stay here, you wont be disappointed. Highly recommend.

To date, we have never had a more enjoyable hotel experience than Caesar Augustus in Ana Capri!!! We were greeted by the owner's son upon arrival, doted on by him and his staff the entire stay, and warmly thanked with homemade (family recipe) jams as we checked out. Other five star hotels we have stayed in did not compare to the personal attention and finite details of this property. Oh, and a special mention must be had for the amazing breakfast!!! The family "gets it" with respect to what vacationers really want. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!!

Such a beautiful property in an amazing area. My husband and I visited and loved it. They also offer several romantic dinning options at their restaurant which I would highly recommend. Service was amazing. If you are a guest of the hotel they have a cocktail hour on the terrace which is also so nice. Loved it.

Absolutely amazing service and amazing hotel. There's no easy access to the water but the kindness and generosity of the staff is unbelievable. My sister last minute surprised my fiancé and I and after the horrible experience we had at casa Angelina, this hotel not ONLY said she could stay with us, but when we got to the hotel they gave her HER FREE OWN ROOM!!! They were so amazin and welcoming I would recommend anyone to stay here!!!

Once you decide to visit the most fascinating island in the world, it makes sense to stay in the best place it offers. Hotel Caesar Augustus experience is a dive into the past, in the Dolce Vita atmospheres, having the modern times comforts. It is located in one of the most scenic spots of the island, its upper part Anacapri, side toward the saddle where Capri town lies. The hotel is perched on a sheer cliff which makes it inaccessible to prying eyes, and to the non stop rhythms of the island. You'll forget the world, you'll find paradise.

Amazing view. Incredible grounds. Beautiful hotel inside and out. 5 minute walk to Ana Capri and their friendly locals. Lovely bar with a terrace overlooking the bay, marina and Capri Town. The owner was very present in the hotel and a pleasure to meet.
