Great location, walkable to almost everywhere with many eating options around. Room was clean, not the most spacious but ok for a nights stay. They have a partner parking garage which makes it convenient if you are coming with a car. The shower was really cramped though. And Wifi is a little slow and unstable. Also the street noise will be quite unbearable if you are a light sleeper but perhaps it depends which room you get? Overall satisfied despite a few negative points.

The hotel is hidden away within a huge building, which you access down a corridor and via lift or stairs to the upper floors. Once inside you feel cosy and a world away from the busy streets outside. Some sounds from the city can be heard from the rooms, so it's a little noisy at times. The rooms were well equipped and clean. Great access to the city and a nice base for a couple of days.

We booked a quad room for a couple of nights in this hotel. We had two separate rooms within the apartment. The operations were mainly run by a small family. They were attentive to our requirements and were helpful with practical information about the surroundings.|The hotel was reachable within a few minutes walking distance from Genoa Principe station. |The room was spacious enough for our family and the amenities were well-maintained.|There was a gym with basic equipment enough to train and keep fit.|Breakfast was basic but adequate for the price paid. |The lift was installed during the olden days but fully functional to fit an average-sized person as the double-doors could be tricky. ||Just a suggestion for improvement: the TV size could have been a little bit bigger.

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Cairoli. The staff are very helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast is good. The room is clean they also made my request for a little surprise for my daughter’s birthday. The location is near all the tourist spots. Overall if i can give more than 5 stars i will. Ill be choosing Hotel Cairoli again when we come back to Genova. Again THANK YOU SO MUCH HOTEL CAIROLI FOR ACCOMMODATING US till next time ❤️

Just finishing my Italy vacation, having stayed at multiple hotels through out Italy, Cairoli is ok in some aspects. Decent in others and unsatisfactory in a few. The location in Genoa is great, close to the train st, walking distance to most places. The room was on par with others, a little small by American standards, but so were most places for the price range. The elevator...small, my shoulders barely fit, at most 2 people and a luggage each. Otherwise you gotta walk up 3 flights of stairs. Internet was decent, the walls are kinda thin, the beds are small, smaller than twin for singles Breakfast is available for extra, they should tell you it is extra instead of just saying breakfast at .... make sure you know that it is $10/p/d added to your final bill, even if you just have coffee. Other than that, overall it's a 3.5 in my books.

We stayed at Hotel Cairoli with my wife for two nights in a "Double COMFORT MATRIMONIALE QUEEN SIZE BED", in room number 16. The room has just enough, with a small desk and chair, a very small wardrobe with 6 low-quality plastic hangers. It also has an electric kettle and a small flat-screen TV.||One very positive aspect is that the hotel is located in a very central area, close to the port and many of the city's main attractions, making it accessible via a pleasant walk. ||It is located on a pedestrian street. If you decide to visit the city by car, you can only access the front of the building for a few minutes to unload your luggage.||It is an old building with a very special elevator, which can be very uncomfortable for some, particularly when arriving and departing with luggage.||There is no parking, but they have an agreement with a garage for a daily cost of € 18.00.||They offer a buffet breakfast outside the daily rate for € 8 per person. We did not use it, so we cannot provide information about it.||There is a supermarket on the corner a few meters away for any needs that may arise.||In summary, it is a very simple hotel, at a reasonable cost for the area, very well located, and meets the basic necessities.

Such a unfriendly and disrespectful staff!!! My son was ill, we paid but unfortunately couldn’t go and the management treated so badly and cold hearted; didn’t refund money. The money is too much for us to loose, and for the hotel is nothing; i even suggested to keep the commission and refund the rest. They didn’t do! Taking advantage from the other who just by child’s illness could not show up…. Shameful behaviour!

Cute hotel, with about 16 rooms. Rooms are clean , breakfast spread is lovely. Staff are helpful and there is 3 person (max) lift that is slow but will get you to the 3rd floor where the hotel entrance is. Be aware that despite this lift, once in the hotel area, there are a set of stairs to navigate to the bedrooms. The hotel is 10 min walk max to the port area, train station and the old town. This is a small boutique hotel, with limited free space, but it also has a small amount of guests and is well kept. There is a small area to sit out on upstairs if the weather is dry. Great location with a small eatery across the street and a carrefour express 2 min walk past the hotel.
