The hotel is nice and the cleanliness is good. The coffee is great with a beautiful view, and the staff are well-trained, matching the standard of a luxury hotel. The restaurants inside are also very good. *However, as a hotel guest, even the coffee at the reception had a minimum spend, which felt like there was little appreciation for in-house guests.* The hotel also offers a variety of activities, and the location is excellent

You cannot beat Cala di Volpe's location or service. The building is a Jacques Couëlle masterpiece ad you are living in design history. The staff understand hospitality and go above and beyond. Breakfast is amazing. The olympic sized outdoor saltwater pool shaped like a lake is just fantastic. Gorgeous private beach accessible with the hotel's launch. Great bar and aperitivo watching the boats go by. I wish they didn't price gouge with the lunch buffet but fortunately there are lots of delicious places to try in the area.

One of the top five hotels I’ve stayed at in my entire life. They’re so attentive and the rooms are spectacular. The beds are comfortable. The linens are of the highest quality and the decoration is beautiful. The grounds are expensive and everywhere you go everybody is so nice. The breakfast is over the top, there are so many choices of options and like every place in Europe, the fruit is always ripe and delicious. I love all the choices of cheese and meats. I would love to spend several weeks here.

I honestly don't understand the pricing wisdom of the geniuses that run this hotel. They charge a fortune for the room which, to be fair, if you don't like it, don't book! However, once you get over the exorbitant room rate, don't charge €15 for a tiny Cola Zero or €18 for a double espresso. That is simply slapping the consumer in the face. I honestly would rather you charge a higher room rate and have all these minor amenities included. It would leave a much better feel for guests. Given how popular your hotel is, once you book in advance the pricing sting is taken out of the stay far in advance and expectations are high. But, then it is stupid prices for soft drinks, coffee, Padel and water sports. It all leaves a bad taste. A child can't have a soft drink anywhere in the property less than €15. Do you really need that F&B margin to survive? Price it into the room!!! I fully understand paying for alcohol. I'd gladly pay the extra cost for cocktails in your fantastic bar. That is a pure option and not all are alcohol drinkers. ||Your business psychologists are clearly caught between luxury European and American pay-for-every extra (as it is Marriott). I guarantee you that 90% of your negative reviews would go away by a room rate that includes (at a minimum) soft drinks and coffee. Same goes for tennis, water sports and Padel. Don't advertise great facilities if they are not included. ||For all your seemingly sophistication, you are missing some basic consumer fundamentals.||Also, a tip on checkout for the hotel staff? Seriously? What a joke! Offer it to your wait staff or lunch bills. Why to the overall organisation?||Back to business school....

Cala di Volpe is an exceptional hotel in every sense. From the meticulous attention to detail and flawless service to the outstanding food and perfectly crafted drinks, every aspect exceeds expectations. It embodies the true meaning of a five-star experience and I would gladly return without hesitation.

We came here once on dinner and the other time on drink. Dinner was very nice and staff attentative and welcoming. Food was good. Valet parking was a nice bonus. Whole property looks amazing and it is very well maintained. This place is on the other side heavily overpriced, so keep that in mind if you plan to visit.

I have been going to Porto Cervo every year for the past five years. I have stayed at Pitrizza Hotel, Romazzino Hotel, and Cala di Volpe. We stayed at Cala di Volpe three times. The food, service, and staff of the hotel are very good. You reach the beach by boat service, which is a bit of a handicap. There is no option to dine at the beach, which is a downside, but the sea is wonderful. With its design and colors, it is one of the iconic hotels of Porto Cervo.

Amazing ocean gym and private harbour and pool. The hotel needs a make over to become leading again. "The fresh juice" was from last day, staff were help full. The entrance needs a paint. A super five star - but not a luxury class hotel. Worth a lunch visit.

Yelp
I love Traveling in Europe and especially enjoy staying at a preferred Marriott property. We typically stay in high end hotels as we like to stay in accommodations equivalent to our personal home. We just stayed at the Belmond in Mallorca, which was amazing. This hotel I would not recommend as my room is extremely small! We cannot even open the bathroom shower door unless the bathroom door is closed. I thought that my Bonvoy status (Titanium Elite for life) would help me get an upgrade or at-least a decent size room. Unfortunately the front desk would not accommodate us and said sorry we can't help you. This is unacceptable and not typical of other high end Marriott properties. We are very disappointed and considering leaving early.

Yelp
We've been coming here 5 times already ad I'm sure we'll keep on coming back. It's one of the most peach, calm and luxurious hotels in Sardinia. Have to mention, that it's seasonal and usually closed after September 25. The hotel is designed by the architect Jacques Couelle to resemble an old fishing village. There are a lot of terraces, halls, towers and irregular roofs that blend beautifully with the natural landscape. Situated close to Porto Cervo, but some driving distance. There aren't much places to walk around, better relax and enjoy everything they offer on the property. You can hire a boat or yacht right there and they will bring it to you to their own port. The hotel has its own yacht that you can chart for the whole day. You can reserve it with concierges that are on duty 24 hours a day by the way. There is a private beach, you can walk there - it's about 1 km through a nice path, or they have boats departing every 30 minutes back and forth and that's just 5 minutes ride. Sunbeds, towels - it's all included of course. The sea - it's just fantastic. You can swim there forever, water is turquoise and very clear. It's a gorgeous bay. One of the most beautiful in the world. No wonder Princess Diana used to go there and other celebrities. There is a large swimming pool for those who don't want to go to the sea and prefer to relax at the pool. The rooms are spacious and almost all with a great view. Pretty large bathroom with both - shower and bathtub. All amenities are by Aqua di Parma. Complimentary water. Full minibar. Turn down service. Breakfast is included, outside at the restaurant close to the pool, and the buffet selection is ideal, very exquisite: different cheeses, meat cuts, smoked salmon, pancakes, pastries, eggs of all desired preparations, all that you can think of, I guess. Even local Sparkling (not Champagne, but not bad either). Lunch is served at that restaurant too. Dinner in the main restaurant inside. Sometimes they have promotion: you can pay some extra and have dinner included or there is an option to get both - dinner and lunch and not only on this property, but at any 3 other their sister properties in the area. The food is delicious, fresh lobsters, oysters, turbot, steaks and all Italian delights. There are two gyms. One is inside on the lower level of the hotel. The second one is outside, close to the water. Pretty good equipped both and there is even a personal trainer if you want to take a private. You can get a ride on water ski or a wake board there. The rental place is right on the property. The prices are a little bit steep though, higher than at Cote d'Azur, but don't forget where you are, Costa Smeralda is not a cheap resort. Different boutiques, jewelry stores with security on duty inside the hotel. SPA and Beauty Salon. Bar. Live piano music in the bar area every evening. Valet parking. Perhaps they may be fully booked during high season and in summer, but in May or September it's very peaceful and quiet. Though last year they changed their policy and reduced booking price quite a lot, which rose the coming of mid-level class from some counties and I can't say that we were happy about that. Better they haven't done so and kept the high range luxurious tourist attraction. By the way, the funny movie "Les bronzes 3" was filmed there on the property and the hotel is greatly shown there if you're interested. Great place for couples of all ages, romantic escape, families and friends.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best resorts ever. Expensive but Sardinia is an expensive island.
