Hotel Cala d'Or

Lovely hotel and amenities..very friendly reception staff. Great location to the town and private access to the beach. Nice pool and bar area. It was very quiet, due to the low season. Rooms were on the smaller side. The only improvement would be the restaurant staff. A male staff member who waited at our tables was unfriendly and did not acknowledge me when I greeted him, thanked him or said goodbye. Felt like we were unwanted. I made an effort and it's a shame to be left feeling I was not welcome there. The breakfast spread was great though.

We had a great holiday in this hotel. All the staff is super friendly and nice. The hotel is expected to be old but it looks great and is super clean. The rooms have apparently just been renovated. We had lunch every day in the beach bar and that was very good. Lots of choice and friendly staff.|I only have a few points that could be improved in my opinion. Often you smell food at the pool. Maybe better extraction in the kitchens. There was a fitness machine broken and I think it has been broken for weeks or maybe months. Please make sure that something like that is repaired within a few days and not wait until the end of the season.|These are really the only downsides and this will certainly not stop us from staying here again next time.

We had the most wonderful time at the hotel. The room was spotless! The pool was a welcome sight after a day exploring. The pool bar was fab, location on the beach - you can’t get much better than that - and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had! The best thing… the staff. We’ll definitely be back! I have stayed at this hotel a number of years. Thankyou again to all the staff. Everyone has always been very friendly and it's clear many people return here to do the same year after year. The hotel is kept exceptionally clean, fresh and has a great location. The hotels historical history is interesting too where it was one of the first buildings constructed in Cala D'or. The hotel is modern but they have kept a traditional feel & vibe with the Ibiza white style which Cala D'or is known for, amongst the vivid green pine trees and turquoise waters. The hotels well kept grounds offer amazing garden views/sea views to Cala Petita Beach & Es Forti. It is quiet and relaxing but only a few minutes walk to the centre of Cala D'or. Recently I have only had the option to book b&b rather than half board when the upstairs restaurant has been closed during the summer. I initially missed not having the option of half board but I have enjoyed the change as you can visit the hotel's own beach bar Cala Petita which offers a quality range of drinks & food. They also hold music events regularly with bands/dj's every so often. There are also many great restaurants/cafes/bars nearby too for during the day/night. Aswell as the beach bar, the hotels pool bar also offers great food such as pizza's, pasta's, burgers, sandwiches etc. The breakfast is amazing with a choice of cereals, hot food, drinks, fruit, cakes & pastries. All the staff are always on the go. They make a real effort to keep everything running smoothly and people happy. Muchas gracias todos! :-)

Had a lovely stay here at the beginning of October. Fantastic location right near the beach, restaurants and bars. Rooms were great and hotel in general very clean and tidy. The staff were brilliant, but not in your face and the breakfast each morning was superb. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

Chose this hotel because of it's location. I wanted an adults only hotel on the beach, close to centre and marina. It lived up to expectation in that way, our room had a lovely pool and sea view. Just walk down the steps and you are on beach. Was possible to get sun loungers but you might have to be quick after breakfast if you want best ones, but we never do that.|I would have given 5 stars except the pool bar had no vegan option for lunch time or we would have eaten there. Not even a vegan burger or wrap. Their beach bar at the bottom had nothing either which was a surprise at it looks stylish and cool.|There is soya milk at breakfast if you ask but we took our own alpro yogurt, margarine and cheese from the Eroski supermarket.|A welcome drink on arrival would have been nice also considering price. Have had this at every beach hotel for last few years.|Loved yoga every morning so that was a nice surprise.

What a charming little hotel in the most beautiful location on Cala Petita. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, backing onto the beach and just a few minutes walk to the town or the marina. The staff are all friendly and efficient, the hotel clean and the food was delicious, both the breakfasts and the 4 course dinners every night. We liked that the hotel was full of character and had kept many original features but was very stylish with clean lines. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will definitely return here.

This is a fabulous hotel in a beautiful location. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing as is the food served on the beach in Cala Petita. Lovely cocktails at the pool bar with a great choice of snacks. Throughout the hotel the standard of cleanliness is top notch. It's was wonderful to fall asleep listening to the waves but only a few steps away from the town with a great selection of shops and restaurants.
