Hotel Cala d'Or

Here’s a natural 4 star style review you can paste straight into Google, balanced and honest. Hotel Cala d’Or in Mallorca was a solid stay overall. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and you could tell housekeeping did a great job. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay. When we asked to change rooms, they handled it quickly and without any issues, which we really appreciated. Both rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable, but the biggest downside was the view. Unfortunately, neither room had much to look at, and the outside views were pretty underwhelming. It did not ruin the stay, but it definitely took away from the experience, especially in a place as beautiful as Mallorca. Aside from that, everything else was positive. The hotel felt organized, calm and easy to stay in, and the staff made the experience better with their attitude and willingness to help. Overall, it is a good option if you value cleanliness and friendly service, just do not expect great views from the rooms.

Great hotel, really clean and all staff are really friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, built into the side of Cala Petita, it's just a few steps down to the beach bar and the beach itself. Pool area has plenty of beds (well in October anyway), more comfy loungers and day beds. The pool bar is good too. Breakfast was included and the selection of continental and hot wasn't the widest I've ever seen, but the food was great. Room was clean and spacious, only downside was the strange large square pillow on the beds. Requested a "normal" pillow but that's the only soft option they had - but I have been told I'm a bit of a princess when it comes to pillows. Would definitely stay again. This was part of an excellent Jet2 holiday package.

A beautiful hotel, 5 minutes stroll from the centre of Cala d’or over looking the beach. This hotel was perfect in every way. Near enough to the resort centre that you can walk in easily but also far away that you can avoid the crowds if you prefer. It’s nice and quiet. Staff are lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, facilities were spotless. We preferred the nearby marina to the resort centre but the hotel isn’t too far from either. A perfect get away!

We stayed in the Hotel Cala d'or after reading reviews and were not disappointed. The location is second to none right on Cala Petita beach. The restaurants are within a two minute walk away and offer an amazing choice of foods. |The Hotel itself is super clean and all the staff there work extremely hard to keep it that way. All the staff at front of house, housekeeping, restaurants and bars were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a garden view room which we didn't mind at all as it got the afternoon sun. |The breakfast had lots of choice and was really tasty. We didn't eat at the hotel bar or Beach restaurant which again over looks the sea, we only had drinks, but the food coming out looked lovely. |This won't be our last trip to Hotel Cala D'or or our last swim in the beautiful clear waters of Cala Petita.

Perfect location for a visiting south-west Mallorca. Nice rooms with plenty of space and a little balcony with chairs and drying rack. Very nice beach next to hotel with lots of fish and a few squids. Pool was nice for a small swim or desalting after visiting the ocean.. the outdoor showers was almost all broken 😓 or had very little water. Pool area has really nice sun chairs and beds ! Breakfast was very nice with tons of options. My ONLY complaint is that the plates for breakfast wasn't all clean, so you had to search for a clean one. City next to hotel has tons of (party) restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend for a romantic stay.

We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay and have had a fabulous trip. The hotel is small but this adds to the ambiance. The rooms and all public areas were spotless and the decor gives a boutique and intimate feel. The staff are all super friendly, from reception, bar and restaurant staff and the housekeeping team. Nothing was too much trouble. |The breakfast had lots of choice for all tastes and eggs and omelettes were made to order. The snack bar food at the pool was of high quality, and had lots of choice, more like a restaurant menu than the usual poolside snacks. Loads of drink choices, and fabulous Sangria! A nice touch was the staff walking around the pool mid morning offering fresh melon , and then later they offered ice cold towels to freshen up. You can access the beach straight from the hotel,and gives you another option. The location of the hotel is superb with a 5 minute walk into the centre, there are so many restaurants to choose from. It’s also a 10 minute walk to the marina with beautiful restaurants and great cocktail bars. |This hotel is a hidden gem and one that I will definitely visit again.

Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. It’s absolutely beautiful! Stunning views. Cala Petita is right outside, it’s a short walk from all the restaurants and other calas nearby. The rooms are very clean, breakfast was delicious and the service has been wonderful. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and the staff brought us a bottle of cava to our room! Highly recommend it here, will definitely be back!

Our 2nd stay here and loved it again! We stayed in a junior suite which was lovely and spacious. 2 balconies, large lounge are and great size bedroom. Coffee machine but to be honest I’m quite happy with a kettle. Stocked mini bar and lots of storage. Bathroom also great size only minor fault is the shower could do with being more powerful. Especially when washing long hair. All spotlessly clean and maintained throughout our stay. |Swimming pool is lovely and some changes have been made to the steps since our last stay so is easily accessible. Great food at pool bar. Beach bar is fabulous also. Ate at both for lunch. We will definitely be back!
