I can't recommend this hotel enough!! The 2 nights we spent here were by far our best hotel experience on our 10-day Amalfi Coast/Sicily trip. We stayed in the Queen Sea View with Balcony. The rooms and hotel are modern, and look freshly renovated. The location and views from the balcony can't be beat. Conveniently located directly on the harbor, which contains over 30 great restaurants to choose from, just on that street alone. Despite being right in the middle of the action, the room is mostly soundproof once you close the balcony doors. The hotel is easily accessible by car, and parking is convenient and easy with their own private gated parking lot right next door for an additional 8€. But the best part was the staff!! I feel bad for not remembering the name of the lady working the evening reception desk. She was a true professional who made us feel like family. Her concierge service really made our experience memorable. She provided valuable advice on the area, offered restaurant recommendations, and assisted us in obtaining everything we needed for our boat rental the next day. The hotel cafe has an amazing breakfast spread, and the chef was also just the sweetest lady who even helped us with a to-go pack of treats for our boat trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

First of all, great location of hotel. Rooms were perfect and very clean. The staff was amazing with a special shout out to Luna who went above and beyond to make our stay magical. The breakfast was delicious as it felt like my grandma was making it for me.

Excellent hotel. The reception staff were fantastic. Always ready to answer questions and extremely helpful with organising transfers, trips etc. The hotel is in a terrific location, is immaculately clean and has a very varied breakfast with plenty of sweet and savoury items on offer. It was lovely sitting on the terrace having breakfast and enjoying the view in the mornings. Would recommend getting a sea front room.

The hotel Cala Marina was our favorite place to stay after visiting Italy for 27 days. The breakfast in the terrace was amazing, the variety of home made goods was fantastic and it was like being inside a beautiful postcard. The staff was helpful and made us feel at home. They gave us suggestions for visiting places around, like the Segesta Temple, or Erice. We would love to return again to Cala Marina. It was delighted to begin our trip to Sicily there!

We had an absolute wonderful 7 days in this hotel.|Everything was first class-from the location to the friendly and helpful staff- I have to give a special mention to Luna for all her help. She is a fabulous receptionist and nothing was too much trouble. She assisted us with so many things- from arranging taxis to making a hair appointment!! The manager Nicoli (apologies if I’ve spelled the name wrong) was very helpful as well. He organised a boat trip for us along the coastline with skipper Salvatore who was a really lovely man with a wealth of knowledge on the area.|And then there was the breakfast!! WOW !! It was more like a ‘breakfast banquet’ Absolutely amazing!! The lady who was the cook produced the most wonderful food and made most of it herself. For first time visitors she explained every dish.|I highly recommend this hotel - we will certainly be back!!

Cala Marina was just a really cute little Italian hotel. It's in a great location right on the marina. The breakfast was nice with a ton of options and a deck outside next to the water.. The room was small, but nice. We had a room on the front of the hotel with a nice balcony. The staff was very friendly and offered us a welcom prosecco. The shower was a bit small, but that's pretty common in Italy.

Sweet personal, special appreciation to Luna who made sure to recommend the best places for exploring or getting dinner within the area. Overall great location for visiting the surroundings (much easier if you are travelling by car).

Yelp
Tucked in the corner of the harbor area, away from the crowds, this place is a gem. The spacious room was ideal for our 4 night stay. It was immaculate and looked even better in person than in the photos. Beds were comfortable and the rooms, quiet. Claudia, the invariably cheerful manager, was helpful and efficient with all requests. In the month's running up to our stay, she quickly made changes based upon our scheduling needs. Ample balconies allow you harbor views, including of the old fort. The hotel's outdoor patio gets you close to the water. Breakfasts were wonderful, too, with lots of choices and a cheerful barista who made coffees to order. Castelmare di Golfo has transformed itself into a destination...and remains close to dozens of interested sites and towns.
