Nice basic hotel room 208 in back is quiet. Entry outside lots of smoker's! Great breakfast Euro 14. Tram runs in front of hotel. Ear plugs provided. No fridge. Updated bath with tub. Front desk friendly. Front desk until 10pm. Easy to get to all attractions by tram or subway! Recommend is the price is right. Meuter Media

Very friendly front office staff, room service and kitchen staffs were friendly too. Always helpful and smiling. Breakfast was very delicious and affordable. Enough restaurants and bars in the nearby area. Bus and tram stations only 1-2 minutes walk. Parking at the hotel wasn't possible although it is written that it's possible at their booking website, but with the help of front office staff we found an alternative nearby and not so expensive like in hotel. Rooms at the street side were very loud because of the trams, but that's how it is in big cities. Although it's written in website that every room has a wardrobe our room had none. So I don't recommend for people who want to stay for more than two nights. The rooms are a bit old and some stuffs weren't in their best condition. All in all we had a very nice time at Wien. 👍👌

Everything was simply perfect. I stayed as a couple for three nights and we really have nothing to complain about. The room was spacious and super clean, the staff were very kind, helpful, and friendly, breakfast didn't have a huge selection but it was still very satisfying and you left feeling more than satisfied. I will definitely be back, it helped make the trip a 10/10.

The staff was so kind, and helpful, and the breakfast was really delicious, and everything was fresh. It was very nice for me, and a huge relief, that we could leave our luggage at the hotel, when we arrived, until the check-in, and after the check out too, until our train arrived. I really recommend to everyone!

It was such a great stay. The staff was super-helpful, extremely nice to us and to all others. The breakfast was also very good, not so full of choices but what’s enough to make you feel satiated. The room was also beautiful, spacious enough for two people and the bed was soooo comfortable. Really a great stay, enjoyed it and will come back 100%.

I stayed at Hotel Calmo for 5 nights with my boyfriend and our dog, since the hotel is advertised as pet-friendly. I consider myself a fairly easy-going guest with no excessive expectations: I’m well aware this is not a luxury hotel. However, I chose it based on the positive reviews, especially those praising cleanliness — something that’s particularly important to me.|I’m also not someone who enjoys writing negative reviews. Usually, if I don’t have something nice to say, I’d rather say nothing at all — but this time, I’ve reached my limit.|The hotel charged us €13 per night for the dog (which I understand — many pet-friendly hotels do), but in five days, our room was never properly cleaned. I’m attaching photos showing the condition of the room on our last day in the photos section: dog hair still everywhere, the bathroom left uncleaned (with soap still in the tub from a previous drop), and stained bed sheets — not from us.|We raised the issue multiple times during our stay. We were told the room would be cleaned, but that never actually happened. Also, some of the personnel were not even polite and didn’t even care. One of the reasons they gave was the dog — either because they didn’t want to disturb him or because the staff might be afraid. I’d like to clarify that every time the dog was left alone in the room, he was safely inside his kennel, where he’s used to staying when unsupervised. So there was no risk at all.|More importantly: if the presence of a dog is a reason not to clean a guest’s room, how can this hotel call itself pet-friendly? And what is the justification for the €13 per night charge if even basic cleaning isn’t provided?|I’m deeply disappointed by this experience and I hope my review will be helpful both to future guests and to the hotel management as constructive feedback to improve their services.|As things stand, I’m sorry to say that the cost of the stay does not reflect the quality offered.

This hotel is clean, budget friendly, and with tram and train access to the city center. There's tram lines running in front of the hotel but we were able to sleep and the hotel provided us ear plugs. The small chocolate wafer on the bed as a welcome gesture was nice.

Unbelievably hot, so hot we couldn't sleep. The "AC" is soft locked and cannot get high enough to actually cool the room. No fan. No fridge. Nobody to complain to at night because there's no 24 hour reception. No refreshments. Expensive for similar hotels.||Not to mention the bathroom is wildly outdated and unclean, there is nearly no furniture in the room, and guests coming in and out echo throughout the hallways at all hours of the night ||We feel like we got scammed.
