Hotel Calmo, a Design Boutique Hotel Vienna, Austria

"Arthotel ANA Katharina is located just opposite the Althanstraße University Centre in Vienna's Alsergrund district. The Spittelau Underground Station (lines U4 and U6) is just a 5-minute walk away and tram line D, which takes you directly to the Ringstraße Boulevard, stops 100 metres away. Free WiFi is available. The stylish rooms at the Arthotel ANA Katharina come with a flat-screen satellite TV, a work desk, and a bathroom with a bath or shower. A generous daily breakfast buffet is served in the property's bright lounge or on the terrace in the inner courtyard. A mini shop, offering drinks and snacks, is available around the clock. Staff at the 24-hour reception can help organise excursions." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Really good, budget hotel not too far from the city center. About a 5-minute walk from Spittelau Station (4 stops far from the city center). Good heating, hot water and quite clean. A bit noisy sometimes due to the nearby tram station but it was tolerable.

Very good value for money. The hotel is well located, making it easy to explore Vienna thanks to the excellent public transport connections. The tram stop is very close, and the metro station is also nearby, allowing quick and convenient access to the city’s main attractions.

Very friendly front office staff, room service and kitchen staffs were friendly too. Always helpful and smiling. Breakfast was very delicious and affordable. Enough restaurants and bars in the nearby area. Bus and tram stations only 1-2 minutes walk. Parking at the hotel wasn't possible although it is written that it's possible at their booking website, but with the help of front office staff we found an alternative nearby and not so expensive like in hotel. Rooms at the street side were very loud because of the trams, but that's how it is in big cities. Although it's written in website that every room has a wardrobe our room had none. So I don't recommend for people who want to stay for more than two nights. The rooms are a bit old and some stuffs weren't in their best condition. All in all we had a very nice time at Wien. 👍👌

I would not recommend this property, and we are leaving a negative review. We booked the accommodation for our trip to Austria, but one day before our planned arrival our three-month-old baby became seriously ill and we had to cancel the trip. I immediately contacted both the property and Booking.com. The hotel agreed to a change of dates, but despite this, they later charged us for a night that we did not use. Booking.com’s support was acceptable, but the hotel’s support was extremely poor. I spoke several times with Booking.com and sent multiple messages to the hotel, but the hotel was unhelpful. I would not recommend this property, and we will certainly not choose this accommodation again when visiting Vienna.

I had a booking for two nights at this hotel. The worst front office experiences that I ever had. After a long drive I got at the hotel with my wife and daughter and the women at the front office started making faces when she saw our daughter, telling us that the room was booked for two people, not three. Before arriving, we called the hotel and we were informed that for kids under 12 years old we do not have to pay extra for the room. This was the first impression, the whole paperwork process was very uncomfortable, thanks to her behaviour. The rooms were ok, it was clean, the stuff from breakfast was kind and polite. Overall this was the first and last stay at this place for us.

Nice basic hotel room 208 in back is quiet. Entry outside lots of smoker's! Great breakfast Euro 14. Tram runs in front of hotel. Ear plugs provided. No fridge. Updated bath with tub. Front desk friendly. Front desk until 10pm. Easy to get to all attractions by tram or subway! Recommend is the price is right. Meuter Media

The staff was so kind, and helpful, and the breakfast was really delicious, and everything was fresh. It was very nice for me, and a huge relief, that we could leave our luggage at the hotel, when we arrived, until the check-in, and after the check out too, until our train arrived. I really recommend to everyone!

It was a nice stay. We were here only for two days. The room was a bit old, but it was clean and it was affordable. The tram was right in front of the hotel so the transportation was very easy.
