This place is right up there as a destination for a European group golfing destination.||We took a group of 20 golfers and stayed at the 4* LaVida hotel for 3 nights, playing 2 rounds on the amazing Stadium course and 1 round on the equally impressive Tour course.||From the point of booking the trip the hotel service and support could not have been any better. Incredibly responsive for any enquiries, supporting on transfers etc and so welcoming on arrival. This carries through the resort from reception to the restaurants to the golf & wellness staff, understated but really proactive service - nothing is a bother for them, even with a group of middle age men!||The LaVida hotel is simple but perfect for a group. Rooms are a little tight but nicely done, all with a balcony, space to store your clubs and really clean. The shower is the only oddity given I’d assume most guests are probably sharing a room on a golf trip with a weird curtain that divides the room rather than behind a door. ||Food is excellent. Breakfast at LaVida simple but good. We ate lunch and dinner at the golf clubhouse which was really good, and dinner at the Bistro in the 5* hotel which was excellent and at €55 half board Inc wine, amazing value. ||There is a small pool at the LaVida, but you have to pay €15 to use the spa/pool/gym at the main hotel which is excessive and not clear at booking. Gym is good with weights, cardio and yoga space. Pool is outside and beautiful,||20 minutes from Girona which seems like a lovely town. We ate at Txalaka and had great ponchos/tapas - recommended.||Golf setup is world class. Courses, practice facilities, clubhouse and staff all amazing. Golf shop is extortionate, buy your stuff beforehand!||Overall, amazing resort destination for golfers. Will definitely be back.
