We loved this boutique hotel. Great location with market near by. Lovely cafes for coffee and croissants. |The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Valentina is amazing. |Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We are a family of 5 with a 12 year old. He says it was his favorite hotel in Italy. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is centrally located and very nice. It’s clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. We loved the room and the bathroom was a great size. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. There is plenty of closet space and an elevator in the building. The hotel is walking distance to many sites. We only spent one night here after our cruise but wish we could stay longer. Do check out the rooftop for an amazing view!

This hotel offers a GREAT location for dining and drinking within walking distance, literally a stone’s throw away from AMAZING food. It’s also conveniently located by a small grocery store and laundromat. It would have been the ideal place for our week in Rome if not for the hotel itself. The rooms are absolutely tiny, smallest we have ever stayed in and we even had the biggest room available to accommodate 3 twin beds. The room was 14x8 plus the approximately 3x3 bathroom and 3x3 shower that was actually smaller than it sounds because the corners were cut at a 45 degree angle to make it fit. Once you took multiple elevator rides to carry each person and their luggage individually, there was no room for luggage except to stack it in the armoire and pull it out one piece at a time to lay on the bed. We got in late and decided to stay the night and just get some sleep. Upon trying to check out early the next morning we were told that we should appreciate the quaintness of the room as it’s “part of the experience” and informed that we would have to pay for 2 more nights as they have a 48 hour cancellation requirement. We were informed that there was a rooftop terrace but told it had no server and we would have to go to the front desk (down the stairs and elevator) each time we wanted something to drink and buy it from the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and each time, I am reminded of how much I love it. First, the greeting from the front desk - you immediately feel like a friend coming to visit. It is such an easy location to get anywhere. The views out the windows are fantastic. It is completely comfortable yet understated. Anything you need the wonderful staff is always here to help. Terrific!

Perfect place to stay. Right in the heart of Rome we walked everywhere! Most things were about 15-20 min including the Vatican. Lots of restaurants around. ||As a family with two very tall teenage boys, we needed space but didn’t want 2 hotel rooms. We stayed in Apt 1 of the annex to the hotel. It was a short walk thru the piazza. A little odd when walking there but we were happily surprised! ||2 rooms …family and kitchen combo and 1 bedroom. Plus the private bathroom. Boys each had a sofa bed to sleep on. The hotel had stored our luggage for the day, moved it into the room for us and had the beds and sofas ready when we checked in. ||Beds were firm and comfortable. We could have had better pillows but it a big deal. Great AC after a hot day touring too.

We had a bonus night in Rome and found this hotel, we have two teenage kids and this hotel had an apartment wing with a separate bedroom. Apartment B3 was amazing that opens onto a courtyard with restaurants, cafes, and a farmers market. The staff is wonderful and the rooftop terrace has great views of the city!

Hotel Campo De' Fiori completely redefined what a boutique hotel experience should be. The property is beautiful, brimming with charm and character—but it’s the staff who elevate it into something truly unforgettable.||From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by name every time I walked through the lobby. They were genuine kind, professional with lovely insight. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel so cared for without being pretentious. Whether I needed the perfect restaurant for the night (they nailed it), help navigating Rome, or a friendly moment of connection, they delivered every time with warmth and grace.||The room? Quiet, cozy, and comfortable. The bed and pillows were so luxurious I slept like I hadn’t in years. Despite being in the lively heart of Rome, the windows kept the noise out entirely—until you chose to let it in. And when you did? You opened the shutters to a quintessential Roman scene: two beautiful outdoor restaurants just below, the air full of laughter, clinking glasses, and the energy of people falling in love with life. That view was Rome.||And then there’s the three-level rooftop terrace—a sanctuary for hotel guests only, offering panoramic views of the city. It was there, with a perfect glass of wine brought up by the staff, that I truly fell in love with Rome.|The food? Yes, the “white pizza” deserves its own paragraph: warm, rosemary-infused focaccia with olive oil and sea salt. Simple, elegant, addictive. I’ll be dreaming of it for years.||The location is exceptional—just a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and countless other historic sights. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe, even while staying alert. The area is well-lit, lively, and welcoming.||If you're looking for a hotel that balances beauty, comfort, kindness, and local soul—Hotel Campo De' Fiori is it. I’ve stayed in many places, and I’ve never been so impressed by a staff. I will never stay anywhere else in Rome.

This charming, eccentric hotel is in an incredible location and offers superb hospitality. We just came back from a three-night stay at Boutique Hotel Campo de Fiore and we were charmed by every aspect of the establishment. Located off of Piazza Campo de Fiore in its own little Piazza Biscione, we found our lodgings to be centrally located and walking distance from most major sites. For example, we walked to the Vatican, Trastevere, the Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon. The rooftop offers a lovely respite from the summer heat, and the views are awesome. Overall, the hotel has an old-world, unselfconscious feel that would probably appeal to any travelers who are not hell-bent on modernity and seeking a bit of nostalgia. If I had to change anything for my next visit (as we will surely come again), I would ask for bathrobes and a different scent on the fifth-floor diffuser. That was a headache inducer for sure.

Yelp
One star for the desk clerk who was extremely helpful and genuinely welcoming. Another star is for the location. The 'could've been better' rating is for the manager who gaslighted us when she & the staff did not make sure to properly communicate waterworks overnight. All we saw were strange workmen in the hallway, cardboard covering the carpeting, and lots of noise. This was an overnight job as the noise didn't abate until morning. Worse was the water pressure in our room was so affected there was just a couple of drops. Nice to wake up early to especially when you need to get ready to travel and could not shower. Speaking to the manager when she got in she denied any issues and refused to make things right for us. It's only through heated conversation that we got compensated for one night. Yes. This hotel is in a lovely location, that one desk clerk was great, but the manager was unprofessional as was the other clerk who is a 'delight'.

Yelp
Amazing stay! A great part of Rome. Everything you want to see is within walking distance.

Yelp
My wife and I loved this place. The rooms are beautiful and decorated uniquely and the rooftop has great views and a ton of wonderful little spots to spend some time. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us a rundown of how and when to do everything we wanted to get done, as well as advice on all our other tourist questions ("Where should we get pizza?").

Yelp
Excellent rooms and even better service - particular shoutout to Adam and Vaentina for helping coordinate taxis and tours for us. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms are clean and as advertised. Hotel staff are fluent in English, too. Excellent location with tons of great food and bars around. 10/10. I will stay here again when I visit Rome.

Yelp
Some friends recommended this place to us for the second part of 7 total days in Rome. We are so very glad they did. The hotel is charming and literally around the Piazza Campo de Fiori, so we enjoyed the market every day. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were cozy, and attractive. I am spoiled by the large rooms in most American hotels - set that bias aside, these European establishments usually don't have the space to work with. The room was very comfortable and we loved it. Note- the elevator only goes to the 5th floor - there are rooms on the 6th floor but you'll take stairs to those. The most fantastic part of the hotel was the roof decks. I say "decks" because at the 6th floor there is a doorway out to one deck with a wonderful view of the rooftops and beyond... don't forget to put in your drink order on the telephone at the doorway onto the deck... but there is a 7th floor deck as well - shaded, and with a 360 degree view of this amazing city. We had drinks delivered two days in a row and it was unbelievable. For dinner, go across the little piazza to Verso Sera - it was reasonably priced, excellently served cuisine. One of the best meals we had in Rome. I realize I may be shooting myself in the foot and that I should keep this little gem as quiet as I can, but they really deserve to be acknowledged. Absolutely cannot wait to return to Rome and spend more time in this charming hotel.

Yelp
The location is perfect for seeing the center of the city. The rooms are boutique in every way. The staff is incredibly accommodating. We stayed one night before occupying a nearby apartment for a week. We were invited to return to use the rooftop or to book tours and return to the airport. We could not have asked for more

Yelp
There aren't enough words in the dictionary to express how wonderful this hotel is. From the quick response to your first note of inquiry; to front desk clerks who are helpful beyond measure; to the location on a quaint yet vibrant square which is walkable to every major attraction; to the roof top deck with it's commanding 360 degree view of Rome, this hotel is magical and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. My loyalty to this hidden oasis is as eternal as this grand city. Extra kudos to Adam, who is as gracious as they come!

Yelp
The location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to must-see tourist sights, great shopping, and many restaurant choices. The concierge staff spoke English pretty well and provided outstanding service. They have "hotel rooms" as well as "apartments" and we stayed in an apartment for a long weekend which I do not recommend unless you are a thin heavy-sleeper. Issues with the apartment included: 1. You need to carry around a big cluster of keys so you can open all four (4) locked doors to get into your apartment each time you leave... On the other hand, you feel secure that no one is going to break into your room. 2. Anyone larger than a US size 8 (women's) is probably not going to fit in the shower. It's obscenely small and very slow to drain. 3. Fri and Sat there was loud music from the courtyard that can be heard from the room even with all the windows closed. 4. The bed was two small beds pushed together rather than one mattress. 5. For the cost of this place, the toiletries (small bar soap and shower cap only) were abysmal. I expect at least some shampoo! With all that said, I would recommend this hotel for the hotel portion only; the location is really unbeatable! P.S. Don't follow the concierge's food recommendations.

Yelp
In love with this hotel! We had a beautiful 5th floor room overlooking the front of the hotel. Comfortable, cozy and quiet. Great location just steps from Piazza Campo de Fiori and the awesome daily food market. I'd stay here again in a second. Miss you already.

Yelp
Traveled to Italy a couple weeks ago and stayed at the boutique hotel. The first trip we stayed for 2 nights in one the apartments. AWESOME with so much space. Then the end of our trip we stayed in the boutique for a night and also loved it. Nicest people work there, great breakfast, and amazing where its located. Walking distance to lots to see and right next to many many restaurants. I will definitely return next time I travel to Italy. Highly recommend it!!!!!!!! 100%

Yelp
I will be back. This city is full of history, culture, and love. This is the never ending romance city. Love flows everywhere. Amazing hotel, neighborhood and service.

Yelp
Amazing value in a convenient location. The staff is fantastic and set us up with an incredible Vatican tour. We had the best tour guide. The hotel is small and charming. The breakfast is included and delicious. Do not miss the rooftop--it's incredible. They even let you bring up your own wine and snacks. I would recommend going to eat outside of the square this is located off of. There are many more authentic, non-touristy places that are nearby. This hotel is a great find.

Yelp
The Hotel Campo de' Fiori situated in an enjoyable area of Rome, filled with markets, restaurants and shopping. It is 30 meters off of the Piazza di Fiori. The rooms in the hotel are quite small but very nicely decorated. They have a wonderful deck on the top of the hotel where you can relax during the day or evening with nice views of the city. We reserved one of the hotel's owned apartments. They have a number of them located in buildings around the Piazza di Fiori. The apartments do not have elevators, so be prepared to climb a lot of steps and you will have to manage your own luggage if you leave earlier than 8am. The apartments are quite large with a living room area and kitchen. Excellent for a family with children. The furnishings, however, are quite dated, nothing like the interior of the hotel. The couches, for example, are single beds with covers, so they are not that comfortable just for sitting. We will go back, but we will stay in the hotel.

Yelp
To anyone who is going to Italy for the first time, and you wanna stay in the middle and do tourist activities.. This is the spot! The workers speak English, hi Adam!! It's nice clean and located in the best spots for food! Our rooms were well kept, they cleaned it every morning; remember to tip! It is a European hotel, and as some of you might know.. It's tiny! We got a nice room for three, it was just the right amount size. Get what you need. Nice clean modern bathroom as well. Welppp I don't know what else to say about it! But it's a good place!

Yelp
Reserved a room on the 6th (top) floor as the honeymoon suite after my wedding. I was not disappointed. While the size of the room can be accurately described as "European," (meaning us Americans may find it a bit small for the price) it was ample for the two of us. Our private balcony overlooked Roma to the north, and the view was breathtaking. Choruses of church bells rang through the narrow streets up to our room, , and made our first European trip as authentic as I imagined it. The staff was terrific. Always helpful, never overbearing. We even had a gift waiting for us in our room when we arrived.

Yelp
The boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of a 2 1/2 week long trip through Europe. We were tired, exhausted and just wanted to relax during our 2 final days in Rome before heading back to reality. We've been to Rome more times than we can count at this point, so sightseeing and touristy stuff was not a priority...we were looking for a comfortable, romantic hotel and this fit the bill nicely. The hotel itself sits around the corner from the Campo De' Fiori market, which is always crowded and lively. There are lots of nice restaurants within walking distance, as well as a few tourist attractions. There's also a very crowded bakery around the corner that had delicious looking pizzas and cookies. Our room was gorgeous. Huge shuttered windows, beautiful decor and a super comfy bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. On my next trip back to Rome, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Yelp
Good hotel with very nice, helpful staff in a very VERY good location. You can easily walk to: the Vatican, Piazza Navona, the Spanish steps, the Trevi Fountain, etc etc from here. Some of the rooms have no view but the double rooftop terrace is epic. Good showers, working AC. Totally with the boutique hotel prices.

Yelp
We stayed in the apartments which is about 200 yards from the front of the hotel. Location is excellent. We loved the apartment. The only concerns was the apartments included a 3 story climb up narrow stairs. It was a bit of a fitness test to haul bags up and down the stairs but we survived. The wifi is very good. The staff speak excellent English. We received help to catch taxis and secure a ride back to the airport. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The perfect Roman Hotel. The rooms are modern and clean and stylish, and the staff speaks English with flair. And it's in the middle of everything!

Yelp
This is an overdue appraisal to an amazing staff that gave us the best service, made us laugh, and accommodated all of our needs. This was a girls trip to Italy from the US and we booked the hotel very last minute. It was the busiest time as we were there in early August. The staff understood our concerns, upgraded our room, and accommodated all our dinner and taxi reservations. Needless to say, we were more than pleased. The hotel is very central and extremely clean and the rooms are very nice. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the #beststaffever ... and yes, they do have their own hashtag! :)

Diane H.

Yelp
I would never recommend the apartments in this hotel. We had to walk quite a distance and down a scary alley to enter. The apartment was tacky at best with what looked like garage sale furnishings. The hotel (a different building) serves a lovely breakfast but we were told we weren't welcome to eat the breakfast until after the hotel guests were finished ~ and there may not be anything left for us!! I felt like an unwelcome guest!!
