Hotel Campo Verde

We had a great experience here. The separate cabins, or duplex, were so nice for privacy and quiet. They all have a view of the volcano. The view is hit and miss with the weather. Over 4 days it was completely covered in cloud 2 days, 35 % covered one say and it really tried the one day, but was still 15% covered. The rooms were super clean and had daily attention from the staff. Our cabin was spacious with a big bed, wardrobe, two big comfy chairs and table, coffee, tea, fridge, TV, solid and fast internet, and more. The bathroom was big and had a large shower and a jet tub. Sadly the jet tub did not really work with the jets turning on for 15 seconds then shutting off and randomly just starting every few minutes for 15 seconds. Weird. Lots of hot and cold water. Light on towels, but fresh ones as requested or hang them and reuse. A special feature was booking a spa treatment in your cabin. We had enough room for a couples session with 2 tables and 2 amazing masseurs, ask for Carla and Natalia, who did a fantastic job. If you are looking at a satellite view, there is no pool. There is a private hiking trail in the forest with beautiful views and often monkey amd sloth. If I had to guess I would also say lots of homes in the earth with crabs or female tarantula. IYKYK. Breakfast was included and is a self serve with lots of hot and cold options. Ask the staff if anything is missing or about dietary concerns. Great coffee!!!

We stayed in the villa, which was wonderful and quiet. Nice front porch and very private. Lots of wildlife around the property. Very nice to be outside of the busy La Fortuna town.

The fromt desk lady was very friendly and helpful. Great included breakfast as well!Lovely, definitely gonna go back!!!

We are happy we chose Campo Verde for our stay in La Fortuna. They place is spotless clean, the bungalows are big and luminous with a great view to Arenal Volcano. Location was perfect for the activities we booked. Breakfasy is great to start the day with a lot of energy. We want to stress Luis Miguel, at Reception desk. He went above and beyond to help us in any way, which is a plus to am already amazing place.

Absolutely stunning, would happily stay again! Beautiful gardens and an unobstructed view of the volcano from our window. Lots of birds to see just sitting outside on the patio - hummingbirds, toucans etc. Cabin was very new and looked just like in the photos, very spacious, huge bed and sitting area. Safe in the room. Very nice shower with hot water and good water pressure. Excellent traditional breakfast. They have a private trail going through the jungle which was amazing, we saw lots of animals and birds there. Very serene place and feels very much right in the wilderness. The cicada noise at sunset every night was unreal.

Felt like a cabin! Nice hot water and ease of access. Wish the weather was better so I could see the volcano.

It’s a great place and excellent view of the Arenal volcano. The only thing I need to remind you is that they use solar power for hot water. If the weather is not good, show is a problem.

Quaint Hotel with Spectacular Views of Arenal 🌋 🌺 While I had low expectations for this hotel, my three-day stay here left me very pleased, especially for the price. My first impression of this place was a breathtaking view of Arenal Volcano at sunset. The landscaping here is very well done and there are little paths all around the property and lush vegetation. In the morning, you get woken up by a symphony of birds; very romantic! They have a decent buffet breakfast in a cute open-patio room. The rooms themselves are well air conditioned and super clean. Our spacious villa had a small kitchen with all sorts of appliances and a nice shower. The best feature of the adorable unit is the porch out front with two sleek rocking chairs, which is great for lounging after a long hike. I had a great experience here and would recommend this cute spot to anyone looking for a rustic and romantic option! Bonus points for affordability.
