Hotel Can Cuch

The Villa Can Cuch completely misrepresented their entire property with outdated photos. Do not believe a word of their description! The property is in terrible disrepair. We visited during a heatwave and the air conditioners did not work in any room! There were no screens on any of the windows. It was so stifling hot I could not breathe- I was forced to open the windows and use a fan to create some air and was then eaten alive by mosquitos and spiders. There were worms in my shower -disgusting old hair in other showers. My colleague took his shower head down, poked out the holes blocked by old sediment to allow the water to pour freely- so he could have an actual shower. |The pool was a disgusting atrocity. It was built as a feeding trough for the cows. It had bugs in it… and has clearly not been kept up. It looks nothing like the photos. The paint has turned to a green mossy color. |The kitchen was at one time set up for a restaurant and completely impractical. With all of the fancy gadgets no longer working - most disappointingly being the dishwasher. |There weren’t any community spaces. The sun porch was unusable due to the heat and cracks in the window pains. The room was filled with mosquitos. A poor design. ||Julio the property manager was lovely and helpful. But there was only so much he could do.||We called the owner and she ignored us. Please beware- this property is misrepresented. It’s uncomfortable and impractical and so upsetting.

The listing is a lie. The photos are photoshopped and/or they are from this property in it's glory days, which it is far far from. The worst offense is they listed air conditioning and not one of the 13 bedrooms we used had a working A/C. If one was broken we may be able to believe they didn't know, but 13?? It was the middle of Summer and we picked this place because it had A/C - we barely slept in the heat. The place is filthy and buggy. The water in the pool is green and the bottom of the pool is very dirty (they are clear blue in the photos). Multiple showers had hair and sludge from previous guests. The kitchen is in desperate need of a deep clean.The kitchen is also lacking common kitchen items. The patio is unusable as the screens and panels are broken and the bugs are everywhere. The owners pretended to care. They do not! If there was a way to get this property taken down from tripadvor - I would do it in a heartbeat.

These picture look NOTHING like what you get in person, everything is outdated and dirty. It seems like they didn’t even take time to clean the pool for the guests. It was green and gross. Not one air conditioner was working. It was awful. The owners did NOTHING to help or to accommodate the heat.

SCAM ALERT!!! The pictures look NOTHING like what you get in person. The whole house is outdated. Nothing works. The pool was DISGUSTING. The ac broke down in EVERY.SINGLE.ROOM. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? the landlord does not care and does nothing to help. stay far away. You can get better views elsewhere.

This place was unfit for guests. It was dirty and bug filled, but worse than that, the air conditioning didn't work during the hottest heat wave in Spain this year. The owners insisted on getting every penny before we could enter, and when we did, we understood why. The pictures are a lie. This place is an unlivable dump. It is sad to see such predatory behavior from people looking to just steal what they can.

High on top of a hill lies this beautiful hotel. Peace and quiet, luxury rooms, charming little private terrace overlooking the wonderful landscape. Very friendly staff. |Knowing how difficult it is to get some electricity and power on top of this hill (they are selfsustainable with solar energy), it is quite remarkable to find this luxurious suite in a beautifully restored old masía. Staff is very proud of the history of this masía and they should be. And it really is, clean and beautiful and tranquile.|Only point of critic is actually the food at the restaurant. Since the road is quite easy for a 4x4 but not a “regular” car we were glad to attend the restaurant that evening.|We didn’t like the food that much. In fact we wondered why on earth they try to make “fancy” dishes in a land where the produce itself is that excellent, that one would be overly excited with some good pintxos or cheese or typical dishes. So for us the food was overpriced for minimal quality. |But with a little change even that experience would be worth a while, since the views from the restaurant are breathtaking.

Unfortunately this place was very out dated. And is no longer a hotel, more of an airbnb place. Our business retreat chose this place for the fact they had AC but none of the units worked. We were not offered a refund or compensation of any kind. Had to open windows which didn't work because of the mosquitos. DO NOT BOOK HERE. It's also goes by Villa Can Cuch

Definitely worth the trip up hill! This small rural-deluxe hotel is built in a centennial farm house and has limited rooms with all the comfort and style. We enjoyed every bit of the experience, including the very special restaurant and the walks in the surrounding woods. Quite and peaceful atmosphere. Staff were really helpful and attentive.
