Had a really pleasant 3-night stay here. The restaurant is very good and the staff are polite and attentive. The place is clean and they even keep the stretch of beach in front of the hotel clean (which is no easy feat!).

It’s difficult for me to offer a detailed review of this property as we arrived at 7.30pm and left at 7.30am the next morning … and therefore unfortunately didn’t have any time to truly enjoy the property.||That being said, staff were lovely! Our room was basic but clean. Unfortunately, the lighting in the room and the bathroom was very poor, though we loved that the toilet and shower were separate — though the toilet “room” was an awkward shape, so maneuvering in there was a little tricky! ||The comfortable beds had mosquito nets, but we were woken by a giant cockroach in the middle of the night and then again by the 5.20am call to prayer (there’s a mosque right next door).||The hotel grounds are pretty, but the beach, although it has potential, is absolutely full of trash :(||A very basic continental breakfast was included.

Lovely St. Louis beachside resort. We stayed 2 nights in December 2021 on our holiday through Senegal. Location is right on the beach and away from all the tussle and bustle of the main markets area. We stays in a 2 story building that was very spacious and fit our needs. Each bed has a mosquito net but really wasn’t needed. Food was enjoyable for breakfast and dinner. The seafood crepe was delicious!

The hotel is a nice casual hotel. Rooms offer the basics; bed with mosquito netting, bathroom with shower, air conditioning. It is set right off the beach and they also have an outdoor pool. The hotel is accessible from the town via a dirt road. So you need a good car. The food was OK. The rooms are set in the sand, so be prepared for sand in your room and everywhere. No playground for children.

This is without question the best place to stay in St. Louis. We came with a large group of 80 in April. Though we have come multiple times with just our family, it was the first time we tried hosting a group like this. The service was perfect, the food was excellent, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and Ida made sure that everything went smoothly. I could not be more pleased.

We ended up here by accident after a mix-up with a different booking - but it was great! Also excellent value room rate (around USD70) at a peak time in Saint Louis around the Jazz Festival. The rooms are simple round chalets, but clean with comfortable beds and an AC. The staff are very friendly and went the extra mile to be helpful at all times. Wifi is patchy, the room toilets are a bit cramped and the breakfast is basic, but we did not find these to be major inconveniences for a few days' stay. ||||Location is about 20 mins by car from the main town of Saint-Louis, reception can just order you a taxi if you let them know about half an hour before you want to go into town and we had no problems finding a cab to come back even late at night. The swimming pool is huge and well maintained, even though a bit too cold to swim at the time of year we went! The hotel is on a wide beach facing directly west so you get dramatic wonderful sunsets to enjoy. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

I was eager to try the hotel's restaurant for lunch as I was staying at a nearby hotel, and heard it had the best food of any hotel. As I noticed another group enjoying this fish dish with rice timbale (photo) I decided to try it as well. Definitely the best seafood I've had in St-Louis! My meal was superb and the service was excellent, truly top-notch. Plus the dining room has the best beach view of all the hotels I visited in the St-Louis area.

A pleasant hotel. The rooms are good, of a decent size and the beds have mosquito nets. The shower is extremely powerful but you have to waste a lot of water to get it hot.||No toiletries apart from cheap soap. There is a huge swimming pool which is rather chilly in November and the transition from shallow to deep is a bit dangerous. Breakfasts are minimal - the only fruit was oranges. The dinner menu is limited - the curry didn't seem to have met any spices in its preparation, and not cheap. Good cocktails. Only worth staying in if you have transport
