Hotel Capri

The hotel is in a good location, easy walking distance to all the sights and it’s very close to the iconic Hotel National de Cuba, which is a must see! The staff are amazing, especially the front of house/reception, the pool staff on the roof deck, and the ground floor bar staff who were all friendly and helpful. I used the gym and the pool, was both a good experience. ||The breakfast was a good variety of local and continental options, buffet style with a range of drinks/juices.||Taxi from the airport to hotel and return to the airport cost me £10 sterling each way, but of course the taxi guys do try to charge double that, so negotiate amicably and pay a fair price! ||I had a slightly scary experience on my final night at the hotel, when a strange man entered my room at 11.30pm! I had to chase him him and report him to reception downstairs. I was told he was the maintenance guy who accidentally went into my room. I was not given an apology by the manager nor offered any resolution, as I wasn’t able to sleep that night due to anxiety etc. Imagine if I had been a less able man, or even a female, I dread to think what could have and would have happened! The matter was reported to Trip.com who apologised but it should have been the hotel manager who spoke with me, and I felt disrespected that they still to date have not bothered to contact me! ||Overall, the hotel is nice, but it was just my end incident on the final night that messed up my experience. Barricade the door from the inside with a chair and the cupboard door, just to be on the safe side, as anyone can enter the room when they want, any at time!

AMAZING!! Went for a day pass at the rooftop pool. Great music & wonderful staff... the BEST cocktails in Havana. Big Thanks to all the staff on the rooftop from the girls from Canada for giving us such an amazing afternoon at the NH Capri pool!!!!

A delightful crew who are attentive and responsive to guest needs. Professionalism aside, the staff are genuinely lovely people who go the extra mile to accommodate (no pun intended) you. The hotel has a modern, chic, up-tempo vibe and is in a great location for strolls to the Universidad de la Habana, infamous Hotel Nacional, and La Rampa landmarks. NH Capri is clean, comfortable, and highly commendable for a visit to Cuba. The rooftop pool and bar is a great place to hang out and meet locals. Rooms offer spectacular views across the sea and or city. A special mention goes out to Avianna, Hugo, Dayami, Javier, and Lenia - all with different roles within the hotel but all very dedicated to making your stay special.

I will definitely visit this hotel again. My stay here was for 7 days. The minute I arrived, the hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. As my holiday continued, I observed, the doorman Adrian was always helpful. The guest relations specialist Avianna and the front dest receptionist Stephanie brightened everyday with their smiles and charm. They are extremely approachable and accommodating. Now, the point of my trip was to enjoy the sun and have fun. The rooftop pool area is perfect. The drinks and food are easily affordable. But it’s the staff up there that turned my vacation into one of the most pleasurable ever. MICHAEL, ILLA and AIE were ready to serve anything I requested and just have the best energy. They are a great team.

We stay in this wonderfull hotel 3 days and we really enjoy our stay!! Avianna the guest relation make these days unforgettable!! Her service was excellent, she offers us as lucky guest a really nice experience such a cocktail lesson! We enjoy make cuban mojitos! She suggest us lots of places to visit and organize for us the dinner show in Buenavista and the car tour! She is lovely!! The hotel is in a good position and all the staff is amazing!!

Vivianne(?) from guest relations was great, Jessica from the reception good. Other staff varied from very good to bored to downright terrible (1 of the receptionists and an older white haired beverage manager i think). Had the impression that a lot of staff wanted a tip for litteraly every handling. Safe did not work, so I moved to another room, fridge worked badly there. Empty fridge, so not a mini bar. They offer ocean view or city view, I had no view.

We had an excellent experience at Capri hotel, especially with the friendly and helpful staff, and the most amazing Guest Relations Officer Ms. Avianna! She helped us in planning our days in Havana and directed us to the best tourist attractions. Thanks so much Avianna 🙏🏽

Ideal location for the events and activities I was participating in for fhe Havana International Bookfair and related events. It’s about 10 minutes taxi to the Morro and close to restaurants and bars which you can walk to. It’s also next to the famous Hotel Nacional de Cuba. Great service from the staff, from the doormen to the from desk receptionists, Stephanie and Avianna, and also at the hotel restaurant/pool bar. I’m likely to return to this hotel the next time I come to Havana for work or for a visit.
