Hotel Carlos V Patagonia Bariloche.

Not recommended. The cleaner stole from us more than 20,000 peso (60$!) We send the hotel message but they didn’t even respond us. Also, the room was tiny! The toilet bowl is so close to the sink, very not comfortable . .impossible to keep our suitcase open

The Front Desk staff and the other staff are very nice and helpful from the check in up to leaving. The manager Martin is able to speak good English and was helpful in providing us the details what we wanted to know. The other front desk staff also very helpful. It is conveniently located closer to all the amenities and the restaurants of the city. The breakfast was very healthy selection which you can choose in smaller portions. The rooms are nice and clean. This small hotel attracts a very good selection of tourists from Argentina and other parts of the world. There was a safe in the room but I am not sure if it works.

Hotel "Carlos V" is a perfect place to stay in Bariloche‬. I have stayed there for 4 nights during my trip to Argentina. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff (Diego) was amazing. Great attitude, Helpful and always available for my questions and concerns. He went over and beyond to help make my stay in Bariloche enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bariloche. All the best for Carlos V and Diego and hope to see you again in the future!

The service from the front desk, dining and cleaning staff was all great, but unfortunately I cannot recommend sleeping here because it was not comfortable for us. The walls are thin so we heard other guests (for example, sneezing in the room next door), and we heard road noise through the window even when closed. We also found our bed in a standard room to be lumpy and uncomfortable, and without individual temperature control, it was very warm while we prefer cooler sleep. I'm sorry to say it was not ideal for us.

A solid 3 star property conveniently located a few steps away from all amenities. Rooms are a little small and bathrooms are in need of a refurb but are clean. There is good WiFi and staff are polite. Breakfast is very adequate for its category, a continental selection but of good quality items.

Pros: Rooms was relatively quiet in spite of being on a busy street. Bed was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom water pressure and hot water were good. Staff was friendly. Very close to restaurants and shops.||||Cons: Wi-Fi is painfully slow. It is slow in most of Bariloche but this was a whole new level. Room was a bit dated. Could use more electrical outlets, especially near the bed. Breakfast was not great.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is in a good position as its back from the main street but not too far up the hillside to walk to centre. ||The rooms are adequate, clean and well|maintained, the WiFi is not v strong in the rooms but better in reception area.||Breakfast is adequate, no hot food not even scrambled egg!||Staff on reception are very helpful. Plenty of cafes and gastropubs nearby

If you like to be treated like a customer, don't stay here. While the building and the rooms are nice, the wifi doesn't work, they leave the light on at night so that you can't sleep, they claim breakfast is included and served from 8am but in reality they don't even start making it until 8:30 and then it's just bread with not enough butter or jam. complete bullshit.

This hotel seemed the best of the four places we checked when we got to town. We were looking for a room with two beds and private bath for no more than 1000 pesos. This hotel was 900. The room had two comfortable single beds and a clean recently refurbished bathroom. But, it was so small that the window opened over the bed. Despite cool weather, the room was uncomfortably warm for sleeping with the window open. The air didn't flow in unless you opened the door to the room. Also, their wifi was poor by Bariloche standards. In the room, the signal was too weak to use. The hallway was intermittent. On the other hand, host was very helpful and spoke excellent English.
