Hotel Carmencita

Centrally-located in Anacapri -- a five minute walk from the bus station, and a bus stop right outside. The staff is friendly and very willing to help. Complimentary breakfast that rotates day-to-day. Each room has patio access, and the rooms are well-sized and clean. All in all, a great place to spend my four nights on Capri!

If you're coming to Anacapri, you can't miss staying at Hotel Carmencita. The staff is incredibly attentive to your requests, from the welcome desk where they explain the best places to visit, to the homemade breakfast, to the pool, which is open year-round for those who want it. This hotel is phantastic. Very clean overall, good breakfast, very clean rooms. It‘s family owned, which makes it a perfect experience. Fabrizio, the son of the owners, always has the perfect suggestion for activities at the island. The hotel is in very close proximity to old town of Anacapri, just a couple of steps away. Convenient access to busses that take you to all the right places on the island. Can‘t wait to be back!

The hotel is a family run business with a good location,close to the bus station for the buses that go everywhere around( €2 per ticket,only have to pay extra if you have a large luggage bag).|The room was nice and clean but wished it wasn't on the back and get a double room like we had booked not a triple. We mentioned that to the staff but they said there are fully booked. No shower gel provided and cheap toilet paper.|The pool area is very nice,loads of sunbeds . The breakfast is also nice considering in Italy in general you don't get much lol but overall it was basic. The staff was very welcoming and helpfull with the information about the island. The hotel manager was a great guy but that was only until the checkout,after that he acted like we were invisible when we crossed our way,didn't even say hello.|We had our boat booked from Sorrento to Capri in advance and gave them the information for the shuttle transfer but they still wanted us to call them for the exact hours but not sure why since we had to wait like 40mins for the transfer.|Overall was a nice choice and stay.

Service and staff were great. You feel like family when staying here. Clean, good food, pool was refreshing, near center of town. Snack bar was excellent- Pasquale's ravioli and meatballs, molto bene! Staff was very helpful in booking restaurant, shuttle service, boat tour with Stefano, was the best! Overall great stay in Anacapri! Would recommend.

Phoned from the pier at Naples that we where leaving, so they send a free shuttle service to pick us up. Arrived at the hotel and we got free welcome drinks and appetizers... We are with 4, so booked a familyroom that looks better than in the pictures on booking. Very clean, large towels and change every day. Breakfast is delicious and varied, not only croissant.

The hotel manager most generously upgraded my room not once but twice. I am not sure what I did to deserve this. Frankly it’s the kind of generosity I thought didn’t exist anymore. Everyone I spoke with was very kind and helpful. I have spent the last two days happily following their recommendations and have made many great memories (the best bit was definitely conquering my fears on the nearby chairlift! Must do!). The hotel is right near a bus stop and literally two minutes walk to the centro storico. I really like Anacapri. Would come back for sure!

We stayed here for only one night and it was lovely. Great location close to Anacapri's town center. Shuttle stop is right next door. Breakfast was excellent with tons of options including grilled vegetables. Pasquale at the pool bar was the best. Really nice time, would go back.

Cute family owned hotel, very polite and great customer service. This Anacapri area hotel is located at the very top!! Cute area and town, they recommend everything for our stay her in Capri, to restaurants and tour boat rides.
