This hotel exceeded our expectations. So classy and rustic, bears a lot of history. The room was very spacious, the bathroom too. And for me very important, the matress the best I have slept on in a long time. No back ache at all :)|Everybody very very helpful and nice. The breakfast was very good too.|Can recommend it very much.

Chaotic breakfast: ran out variously of yoghurt, ham, salami, and bread on each day of our three-night stay. Merely to say 'Finished', without apology or explanation, an hour before breakfast service ended was unacceptable!|Staff mostly polite and helpful, but the ying man who served breakfast one day was curt. |Spacious, comfortable bedroom and calm, relaxing, well-appointed public areas. |Nearby on-street parking tolerable. |Many decent restaurants within a few minutes' walk.

Althoug this hotel is classified as a 3 star hotel could be easily considered a 4 star hotel. The staff is very polite, helpful and attentiff. Beautiful decor with an amazing garden. My room was big with an enormous modern bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Parking outside is easy. I will definitely recomend this hotel.

A beautiful historic hotel with artistic features like painted decorated walls, reflecting its history as a convent, a police station, a library and other purposes. There's a beautiful large garden with tables and chairs. The breakfast was very generous with traditional italian cakes, fresh fruit, cold cuts, salads etc. |The clean room was very comfortable and there was a surprise welcome drink of Marsala waiting for us in the room.

As mentioned elsewhere, excellent location and facility. Spacious and decorative lounge and seating areas, mezzanine and garden. Our room was small because we requested twin beds which were not available in larger rooms (!). Some language problem at check in as English on partially understood. NO PARKING. SEE PHOTOS. Some reviews note free parking, but you might be towed. Parking ticket machine did not work and so had to use app. In short, great deal of aggravation. Hotel did not have our reservation but had rooms. A/C did not work 1st night and night clerk had no English and no help. In spite of everything, the overall experience was fine, but be warned.

A beautiful, elegant historic building, Hotel Carmine is well situated in the centre of Marsala. The staff are kind and helpful. They recommended Botega del Carmine to eat - it was excellent and we had a beautiful evening in this hidden gem of a restaurant with piano music, a garden, fairy lights and amazing service. (Come out of hotel turn left and restaurant is on the left near cacti. It is easy to miss - it has an enclosed garden in the centre which is not visible from the road 10/10. Marsala food is delicious and the Marsala museum is well worth visiting. As a couple who live in France , we like our food and we ate and slept well here. Breakfast at the hotel was top too. Thank you Hotel Carmine for a memorable stay.

Beautiful old building that's been lovingly restored, very pleasant staff, and a perfect breakfast. It's generally quiet and the room was comfortable (eg the mattress was great) but the room was far, far too warm from the sun and stuffy to sleep (in mid November!) and the only cooling means opening the doors to the balcony shared by most rooms and the lower-level, so not secure. If they modernized the rooms so you could cool them, I'd come back.

This hotel has a charming, vintage feel to it and remarkably, everything is in perfect condition. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond, surprising us with a bottle of wine upon arrival and organizing a fantastic wine-tasting experience. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the whole vibe of the place made our stay really special. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a cozy and authentic experience in Marsala! Note: the patio is great for the afternoon coffee :)

Yelp
Hotel Carmine is a cute little hotel nestled safely in the middle of the city of Marsala. You can park right in front, they serve free breakfast (croissants and coffee), they could accommodate my family and I last second, and I like the high-ceiling rooms. Additionally, the staff is nice, the hotel in general is clean, and they have an interesting small elevator. I doubt I'll ever stay in Marsala again--there's just not much to do, but if I am ever back, I'd consider staying here again.

Yelp
Right in the center of Marsala with a beautiful garden. A bit of old time still in the walls as well as local in its approach to you. Not much of foreign languages among the staff. Nice but without personality.
