Not impressed. The staff did their job but nothing beyond that. We had water leaking from the bathroom light fixture, and the only response was, ‘maintenance isn’t here'. They gave us extra towels to mop the floor. When we brought it up again at check-out and mentioned we expected to be moved to another room, we received nothing but a shrug and not even an apology. The parking bays are extremely narrow. The view from the balcony was extremely ugly. Overall, it’s an okay hotel, but not worth the money, especially with such poor service.

Perfect cenral location. Rooms are rather large Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not have any breakfast, so I cannot give any rating about breafast service. Hotel is quite dark inside, black walls and black furniture, but not really a problem.

Ourense is a small city packed with beautiful corners and interesting sites. The team at Carris made sure we got in all the local secrets. The rooms are incredibly well appointed and maintained. We originally had a suite which was fantastic but had to move to a regular room. It was an incredible surprise to see such well taken care of spaces. I did miss the balcony in the original room but have to say that the new room was still great in size. Bathroom and shower were also spectacular.||Ana at the reception took great care of us as did the rest of the team. Very warm and personalized service. For sure a much better option than the chain hotels around downtown.||

Spent two night at this hotel in a Junior Suite on the top floor. Excellent facilities. We have seen references to noise and darkness. Not art all - very good facilities. Parking also excellent. Staff very helpful and breakfast spread was very reasonable. Good central location to explore the city and the surrounding area.

Stayed for several nights recently and found the room to be comfortable, clean and reasonably quiet. My room was on the second floor at the front of the hotel. There was little in the way of disturbance from people outside at night but there was some from street cleaning about 2AM on a few nights.||||The room was a stereotypical Spanish hotel with dated brown furniture. Plenty of cupboard space but to use the top shelves you would have to be over 7 feet tall. The bed was comfortable enough but they do only provide the bolster type pillows which for me are too soft. The bathroom was bright enough but the bath was a little odd as it didn't have any taps only a powerful shower. Basic toiletries were provided.||||The bar is closed and there is no restaurant - not what you want when you've just spent 15 hours travelling. There are plenty of bars and cafes nearby though. So rather than operating as a hotel it's a glorified BnB. Which leads me on to breakfast. The basic breakfast is simply a couple of rolls with ham and cheese filling along with a croissant and a pain au chocolat. This is all pre wrapped in clingfilm. There is fresh fruit provided and they are happy to add to that with chopped banana and kiwi fruits. There was an option for tostadas but I didn't get offered this. Would be much improved by offering a breakfast buffet.||||Wifi worked well in my room and was good enough for work and watching some TV. The TV itself has limited channels and none that I noticed were in English.||||The biggest bugbear at this hotel is parking. As is common in Spain this hotel has an underground car park. It's on 3 levels. The first level is easy but only has a couple of spaces for the hotel. The second level is OK but the third level is really tight to get into and I put two nasty scrapes on my car trying to get down to this level. DONT TAKE A BIG CAR TO THIS HOTEL.||||||Overall it's all right but don't say you weren't warned.

Business city hotel, modern/business aesthetic, staff not very engaged. Superior room very good, standard room worn, poor view. Breakfast food good but served in a dingy room, tables not cleared. All feels like a chain, which it is. Location good, 7 minutes walk to old town. Some smiles from the staff and more attention to detail would have transformed the experience.

Stayed here on Business for three nights. The hotel is very cool. Great design, awesome service and a good breakfast! |Centrally located near the old town of Ourense this hotel is steps away from great restaurants, bars and shopping - with a focus on Spanish contemporary brands. |My room faced the back of the hotel and was very quiet - my colleague stayed opposite me, facing the street and her room was quite noisy. So ask for a quiet room! |Saying that, my stay was great and I would certainly recommend this hotel, and most importantly, should I return to Ourense, this is the only hotel I would chose to stay at. ||(Hint - Ourense has an AMAZING Michelin Starred restaurant called Nova - do not miss this!) |

Nice hotel in the city center. Reception staff was correct. Room was ok, however, the whole hotel is very dark. But a good choice. The old town can be reached in about 10 minutes walking time. Around the hotel however, no restaurants.
