Stayed a couple of nights during the Romans festival. The hotel is very calm, and the reception staff is very helpful. The elevators don't keep you waiting. The rooms are adequate size rather than grand but are clean and everything worked. Breakfast has loads of choice and provides a nice relaxing start to the day. Our Mercedes could not fit into the hotel parking elevator, so it was parked round the corner in the publico, no bother. Hotel provides a discount voucher (€34 for 2 nights). Hotel location is fantastic for everything. Our friend with mobilty issues got on really well. There was some noise outside with street cleaning activity early morning. Tea and coffee, kettle provided and an iron board and hairdryer. Very pleasant stay.

We have no complaints about this hotel. Check-in was easy and welcoming, although we were never given a WiFi password. ||Our room was a corner room on the 4th floor. It was fantastic. One window looked out to the mountains and the other had a view over the building in front of us to the Port. Each morning was a delight. ||Breakfast was good and varied with fresh fruit, pastries, bread, an egg station (which the attentive waiters would take and make your way), meats, yoghurts, cereals, a selection of juices, and Bacon and eggs. The waiters would also make you a cup of coffee if you asked. There were also mini premade wraps and sandwich quarters which changed each day. You can tell they put a lot of effort in and the wait staff were great.||The bed was comfortable and the pillows were also my preference. The room was pretty spacious with enough space for our stuff. ||The bathroom was a shower/tub combo which could be a bit difficult to get out of, but the bathtub was great! So good to have a bath in the evening with the bathroom window open to the sound of the port. ||I'm not sure what the other rooms were like, we were very fortunate with the location of ours. ||Finally, the location was also fantastic. It's just a few metres from the big draw card of Cartagena, the Roman Theatre and museum. It's also just steps away from where the tourist boat departs (recommend).||It's also just a 15 minute walk to the Punic Wall museum. ||Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would likely stay here again if we were to come back to Cartagena.

Great hotel in a very good location close to the Roman museum and other attractions. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and efficient, and help us to navigate parking the car in the underground carpark. Our room was quiet , clean and had all amenities to make our stay very comfortable. Very nice stay , would recommend.

Chose this hotel for parking to be told it was full and we had to go and park the car in a public car park 10mins away. The room could have been great, but a lot of external noise got in waking us up and also the minibar fridge made you think someone had entered your room with the noises it made. It did have a lovely view over the harbour, but getting onto the balcony meant a deep step up through the window and getting back down was precarious, the provision of a step would have made it better. We chose to have one of the best rooms and it let us down. Seems to be a common theme in 4 to 5 star hotels in Spain. Breakfast was a reasonable offering but I was expecting better. Why do you do processed meat sausages of a style from a different country when there is so much better a sausage made in Spain

Bed very comfortable but no doona, bathroom had hair still in bathtub and only one set of toiletries even tho room was booked for 2 people. No conditioner in bottle and Toilet paper not folded. Reception staff was not overly welcoming and rather unhelpful. Wifi not provided and it says on hotel homepage rooms are soundproof but they are not you can hear everything. Overall not too bad stay but was hoping bit better based on all the previous reviews

Beautiful location with friendly staff. The rooms are clean and there is a tiny coffee /tea bar in the room. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

My first time in Cartagena, which I recommend, and the hotel was good, especially the pillows, two each which isn't often the case.
