Absolutely lovely place! Our suite was the perfect size, comfortable bed, top quality linens and towels and a beautiful view from our room of Alhambra. Very quiet - only the beautiful sounds of birds singing. Such amazing hospitality from everyone we encountered. Armon particularly was wonderful and helped to make our stay so memorable. He went above and beyond to assist us in fine tuning our day time plans. The afternoon tea was a very special experience as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic 5-night stay! Beautiful hotel with the perfect balance of tradition and charm with updated and modern amenities. We stayed in room 25 with the balcony and view of the Alhambra. Wonderful! Breakfast and afternoon tea served in beautifully decorated terrace area. Perfect location!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Casa 1800 Granada during our trip to attend a family wedding. The hotel was superb. We had a junior suite that was perfect for our 5-night stay. The staff went above and beyond. If we requested a dinner reservation, directions, or a taxi, they were very responsive and accommodating. We loved the hotel property. There was a beautiful open-air courtyard that we gathered with other family for breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails. Staying here really added to our overall wonderful experience in Granada.

I spent 3 nights here at the end of May and it was one of the highlights of my travels in Southern Spain. This is more than a hotel, it is an experience, if you take advantage of the simple and beautiful amenities. Tucked back a street from the main square's hustle and bustle, you enter the hotel into a peaceful oasis and indoor garden with small chirping birds that enter through the open interior patio. One evening we had cocktail hour in the indoor garden area where they served breakfast. A wait person graciously helped us get ice, glasses and napkins. It is the staff here that helps make this place so special. From the front desk crew who greet you warmly whenever they see you, to the wait staff who are always friendly, competent and willing to help. Don't miss the breakfast buffet, it is exceptional. Tons of fresh fruits and special breads, nuts, dried fruit, eggs, desserts. One of the best I've experienced anywhere. We also availed ourselves of the restaurant recommendations of the friendly people at the front desk and were never disappointed. This is a 5 star place, without a doubt!

We absolutely loved our stay in Hotel Casa 1800 in Granada! It's tucked away just one block from the main street, which makes it perfectly quiet and peaceful while still being super accessible to everything. The location really offers the best of both worlds! The front desk service was impeccable. As soon as we arrived, they went above and beyond by arranging a beautiful and unforgettable flamenco show for us. It truly made our experience special. The room was large and spacious with beautiful vaulted ceilings and a great size bathroom fully equipped. The breakfast garden is another highlight – it’s so beautiful, and the food is just as amazing. They provide complimentary coffee all day, such a sweet touch!! All around a lovely spot to start your day with their delicious breakfast, surrounded by greenery and a relaxing atmosphere. Honestly, I enjoyed every moment here, and I’d come back to Granada just to stay at this hotel again!!! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to the heart of the city, and a great vibe, I can't recommend this place enough!

I would leave 6 stars if I could. Granada became the highlight of our trip to Spain and this hotel was the highlight of our hotels. The staff repeatedly went above and beyond, the room had plenty of space, the bed was comfortable. Tea-Time is included and has a bevy of local baked goods, fruit and a rich apple liqueur. It’s so good, you will ask multiple times if it’s included. An elegant boutique hotel built from a 16th century mansion. Close to the Alhambra.

Hotel Casa 1800 in Granada is one of those very special places. You are actually staying in history. Enter through the huge wooden doors into a cool authentic Moorish courtyard. The bedrooms are decorated very stylishly. This is such a generous hotel, there is always coffee available, Cava at breakfast, afternoon tea, bag storage for late flights and a noon checkout. The staff are always helpful and smiling. Step outside the door and you are in the centre of the old quarter of Granada. I felt very privileged to have stayed at this little gem.

Amazing historic building that has been sympathetically restored and converted into a hotel. Great location for the tourist area. Hotel decor is period and beautiful. The breakfast courtyard was beautiful and a relaxing start to the day. Staff were delightful in all areas.

Yelp
We had a great stay at Casa 1800 Granada. It's so charming and peaceful. The building has been superbly restored retaining the historic elements and providing a fully modern experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. You'll have everything you need for a perfect stay. Breakfast options are delicious and plentiful. The kind lady that oversees breakfast always has a smile. The afternoon tea time is lovely and a good reason to return to enjoy the hotel. A couple of nights we chose to have a light dinner in the dining area/lobby. Valerie took such good care of us both nights. He is a joy! Some helpful hints. Casa 1800 is not a cookie cutter layout. Read the details of each room, especially if you have mobility issues. Not all rooms on the upper floors are accessible by elevator and sizes vary. We've stayed at both Casa 1800 locations, and have been so very happy at both. Just spectacular.

Yelp
We stayed at this location for four nights after reading a recommendation in Rick Steves' book. Our experience was generally positive but with some negatives. The location is excellent - just a block off of the main squares in Granada. Everything was close by. We did not have a car, thank goodness, because I have no idea where we could park given this area is restricted to taxis and buses. One downside was the taxi could only get within two blocks of the hotel and on top of that the alleyways that the hotel is on were under construction so you had to carry your luggage through the dirt and rubble (thank goodness it was dry!). One note the construction on weekdays began by 7:30am - nothing like a jackhammer wake-up call. The hotel itself is very charming and the staff super friendly. Upon our arrival Juan did his best to get us into a room that met our needs. The first room #5 was not only pretty small for a "Superior" room but very stuffy. The only window opened onto small inner courtyard where people could eat breakfast. It made that room seem very public. Also since it was winter the AC was turned off so if you wanted to use the wall unit as a fan for fresh air it only pumped out heat! Juan was able to put us into another Superior room #2 which was much bigger and airier though the only two windows were in the interior corridor entrance way. This was better because no one was sitting outside our window though you could hear people come and go and some noise from reception but that was minor. Juan also found us a portable fan. The room had a safe and a mini-fridge. The bathroom while modern needed some work on the tub so it would drain (we asked to get this resolved but it wasn't). Another downside it the room lacked outlets. To make coffee you had to unplug the lamp and to make tea unplug the coffee maker. This was true throughout the room. They had a nice complimentary "tea" each afternoon with fresh pastries, fruits and drinks. Looking at the pictures on-line they have some very nice rooms, for a price. Be warned that the Superior rooms are not that Superior and the descriptions are not super accurate when compared to what they actually are.

Yelp
Very friendly and helpful staff in an upscale conveniently located hotel. Hotel was built in late 1500's but has modern amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi. Room, bed, and bath/shower were all comfortable. Our room was in front and likeliest exposed to the most noise from both the street and front door. But it was not bothersome and ear plugs were provided for lighter sleepers. Complimentary coffee, tea, water and sometimes snacks were available off the lobby. Would definitely return. When walking here from the main train station use the "car" option instead of the "walk" option in Apple Maps. Otherwise expect quite the workout on cobblestone pathways with many stairs!

Yelp
The Mr and I had an AMAZING three night stay at the Hotel Casa 1800. Sylvia, Ivan, and Joe took excellent care of us throughout our stay. We received fabulous recommendations whenever we asked. Nothing was too much trouble and all requests were met with a smile. Our room (19) was full of old world charm. We loved the wood beamed ceilings, comfortable beds, modern bathroom, and cute window that overlooked the courtyard stairs. The courtyard was a beautiful space we enjoyed daily. It provided a great gathering place , to share ideas and experiences with other guests. Breakfast was served each morning in the breakfast room and offered hot, cold, savory, and sweet options. The Nespresso machine was easy to use and made great coffee. After a long day of touring, it was nice to come back to the hotel and find snacks and beverages available to enjoy. In short, Hotel Casa 1800 was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in anywhere.

Yelp
Charming little hotel centrally situated. Comfortable main courtyard area to hang out in with coffee, tea and water provided. The hotel provides multiple newspapers in the common space which is a thoughtful touch. The rooms are nice but it is difficult not to hear the noise from the surrounding rooms or courtyard. Honor bars available in the rooms and breakfast for a fee. It is a little hard to find since no car traffic can approach and patrons must walk the last block or so.

Yelp
REFUSED REFUND DURING CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN Despite the fact that it would be ILLEGAL for us to travel to the hotel, they refused to grant us a refund. I know these are extraordinary times and that businesses are hurting. But it's also a time to choose to do what's right. Very, very disappointed and will look for other accommodations on our next visit to Granada.

Yelp
We had such an amazing experience at this hotel during our 3 night stay in Granada. The hotel went out of its way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Bottle of champagne on arrival was a wonderful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Also received a fruit plate the next day. The daily complimentary afternoon coffee, drinks and pastries was just the right amount of fuel needed to energize us after a day of sightseeing. Hotel is very close to plaza Nuevo and a short walk to many fabulous tapas spots. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that visits granada
