Burgers were great, the beach was pretty. I was there for a few hours only. Just to enjoy the beach and conversate with some relatives who live nearby. I've never been to the rooms though, that I cannot tell you about.

The service here is very good, Gunther is very fun to talk to, lots of stories. The property is well taken care of and the fact that it is right on the Caribbean is really cool. Loved the food, rooms are clean and the prices are very reasonable. Sunday mornings are great because a local church is singing praises all morning in Spanish! Loved it!

This hotel is a little out of town and tucked away along the water's edge. I stayed for a week with several other people. The hotel is generally quiet and private, until the regular gathering of folks at the outdoor restaurant-bar gets going a little later in the evening and the hosts can relax some and enjoy their guests. This is a friendly comfortable spot in-the- making, with new rooms being added, with nice comfort as well. The owners, Paula and Gunter present a fine table, she the terrific cook and hostess, he the seemingly no nonsense builder and husband who pours a generous drink. See for yourselves and have a unique travel experience

I gave the one star because of the owner! My son had his wedding here. We were allowed to start setting up on Friday. My son left power tools to use Saturday. They are were stolen. When I the owner was told he called my son a liar. Poor management and customer service. Staff was great and I'm sorry I can't rate them separately. Our church was interested in renting the entire place every Summer for 2 weeks for yearly mission trips. This won't be happening now.

The worst night of my life. It was almost 11 p.m. and these people had very loud music, getting drunk, even someone vomited fainted, and had to take him to the hospital. I didn't sleep at all that night and I don't recommend this hotel at all if you want to sleep in peace. The worst hotel I've ever visited. If you are looking for a quiet place, I recommend a cabin than this garbage they call “hotel".

Gunter - the owner - and his wife ARE AWESOME! So welcoming. It feels like you are home when you stay here. I felt secure, safe, and very at ease. Nice rooms and good in-room amenities, like TV channel options, very comfortable bed, and great working AC. Also you get home cooked meals for every meal. Also a great bar area and right on the beach! Overall A+!

The Hotel Casa Alemania is the best hotel in the Trujillo region. Located on the edge of town, the Alemania offers an off the beaten path location and a great open beach feel. The owners provide state side amenities with a Eurpoean flare. The food is great, the best meals we had during our month long stay in Honduras. The rooms were clean and the air conditoning cool. We sat around the open air bar every night and enjoy cool drinks and great conversations with our new friend Gunther. Several memebers of our group stayed at the Alemania on and off over a month and they all had the same great experiance. Highly recommend this property.

Hotel caught on fire five times in my stay there all electrical fires, you can not flush toilet paper down the toilets, the food is sub par, the owner is a dink, room are full of mold, does not have backup generator for rooms and area has four hour scheduled power outages everyday. Spend the extra money and stay down the road at hotel Christopher Columbus.
