This hotel was perfectly situated in the center of Antigua with much to see and do nearby. The hotel staff was super kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and we slept great. We also enjoyed their lovely garden/patio area. I recommend. It is a great deal

A beautiful small hotel very close to the central point of Antigua. Warm and helpful people, beautiful decorated rooms, very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a classical ambiance. A previous hotel did not align my expectations, so I ws very happy to have found Casa Antigua, which had a room for me available immediately. Thanks guys! I will be back for sure!

Checking in was smooth and seamless. Our room (#19) had a damp feel to it. It was always musty during our 5 nights there. Room was clean and housekeeping was quite efficient. The water pressure for the shower was pitiful. Room & washroom amenities were adequate. Location was fabulous. A block and a half from the main square. Eateries, waterholes and attractions are all within walking distance. We would be hard pressed to stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Antigua Guatemala.

I would say this is a good 3/4 star hotel to stay in Antigua for a really good price. The service in particular was really excellent and the location was also very good. In particular the laundry service was done with great care and completed same day.

Charming space with an amazing location, only two blocks from the Central Park! The patio is lovely, there is amazing art and antiques from the 1800 and 1900’s the owner and staff are very kind 10/10 recommend!

Unreliable Service and Poor Communication I recently booked a family reservation at this hotel, but the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. After confirming the reservation, I double-checked a few days later, only to be told that they had only booked one room for us, instead of the two we needed. They offered to accommodate us in another hotel, but this was far from what we originally planned. To make matters worse, during the booking process, the prices kept changing depending on who I spoke with, sometimes within a five-minute time frame! This inconsistency was baffling and unprofessional. Additionally, I received mixed information about whether breakfast was included in our stay. Some staff assured me it was, only to later inform me that breakfast is not even served at the hotel. This kind of misleading information is unacceptable. When I tried to resolve the issue, the hotel staff refused to take responsibility. Instead, they shifted the blame between coworkers or even back to me, which is unacceptable. This lack of accountability and poor communication has left a bad impression. I would not recommend this hotel to others, especially if you're looking for reliable service and clear communication. My experience suggests that they are more interested in passing the buck than ensuring their guests are taken care of.

This quaint hotel is perfect walking distance to the market and main square. The lobby is adorable with lots of lush gardens and fountains. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The only downside is the beds are very very hard. |Checking in the first night was a bit bumpy the clerk could not find my reservation and had to call someone off site. Turns out the reservation was right in front of him on a paper...|Overall pleasant, quiet and safe.
