I’ll start with the positives. It’s in an excellent location in downtown. Easy to walk to everything. The courtyard garden is beautiful, with flowers, plants and various fountains. The rooms are absolutely disgusting. Old and in need of serious renovations. The floors are filthy cracked doors, paint peeling, black mold growing on the walls. The shower will not drain. The toilet can only be flushed once every 20 minutes due to refilling. Honestly I would not stay here again. There are much nicer hotels in town.

Took a solo trip and stayed at Hotel Casa Antigua it was amazing it is a very calm and nice place to stay at if you’re in Antigua the room attendant AnaMaria always left my room nice and clean as needed. And the ladies at the reception are always there to help especially on my first day when I got lost they helped me with directions on getting back to the hotel. Also Kennedy the night receptionist is very polite and accommodating! Overall this hotel was great and highly recommend!

This hotel is located in the perfect location while staying in Antigua. Easy to walk to the nearby park, restaurants, bars, the arch and other ruins! Staff was nice and friendly. The rooms have this old original feel to it big high ceilings, which is very nice, but the bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. We also struggled getting some hot water in the shower late at night, but we made it work for the 2 days we were there.

First the good. Location was great. Right in the heart of beautiful Antigua. The outdoor seating areas were very nice and the staff was friendly. Now the bad. We rented two rooms. Both had an overpowering smell of mold. We tried airing them out but to no avail. The rooms were damp and musty as were all the towels and bedding. The bathroom walls were actively growing black mold. See photos. The staff apologized and offered to allow us to move to a different room, but since the two we had were both bad we were not comfortable with that option. Ultimately we found other accommodations through air bnb. No refund was offered, even though we asked, for the nights we didn’t use. Would not recommend.

The location is perfect but the website at first glance indicates pool, restaurant but nothing is on site. I enjoyed my stay for the most part but there is a night club which is loud most nights. We stayed for 9 nights. You pay a lot with really no amenities. I don't think I would stay again, it gets hot and no AC. Perfect location though and lots of character.

Only spent one night, the room was basic and comfortable. The courtyard and sitting areas were very nice. The front desk was staffed and efficient. Drinking water, tea and coffee were all available.

Incredible location right by parque central. Showers actually had hot water and pressure (which is rare in Antigua!) the staff were very friendly and allowed us to keep our bags secured before we checked in and after we checked out with no issue. The room was clean and spacious and there were lots of common areas to relax and a beautiful rooftop. Check out at noon was also very nice.

It’s your good enough hotel - clean enough wifi stable enough how shower hit and miss. They have free coffee and hot drinking water on site.
