I had the pleasure of staying five nights at Hotel Casa Consulado, and it was a truly stunning experience. The hotel itself is an early 19th-century colonial gem, featuring beautifully preserved architecture, charming courtyards, a lovely pool, and elegant decor that transports you to another era. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully furnished with authentic touches. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the incredible hospitality of Jaime, our host. His warmth, attentiveness, and personalized recommendations made us feel right at home. I will definitely be back!

Nice place to stay, very clean. Very safe. Jaime was amazing. He went above and beyond. Recommended a few restaurants all were amazing places to eat. Customer service was on point from everyone. Breakfast was delicious.

I went to Spanish school in the past here so am familiar with the location. I did not use the pool but it has a nice setting. Only 3 wooden lounge chairs by it though. Couch nearby was my spot. They have a menu now for breakfast so you can have a fruit bowl or an American breakfast . I was there a while so had the Nica one a few times as well. I thought it was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.|There is a resident cat who seemed to like me and wanted rubs! Surprised by the hot water in the shower! Bed was comfortable, could use a stronger light by the bed.|Highly recommended

Beautiful historic colonial style hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. There is a beautiful pool in the courtyard. Great breakfast. It's one of the three better hotels off of Central Park. The restaurant zone is about a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended.

This beautiful hotel is located a block away from Central Park Granada. You must stay at this architectural place you will enjoy one of the best attractions of town. Lovely rooms the front desk service is one and only 👌. The Best They need to improve on the menu 😤 really bad 👎, they offer you the same menu every day, they don't rotate or make any extra or different food always the same every day. They want to charge you extra money 💰 without consulting with the front desk. Every time you ask for something 🙄 is extra money 💰. Front desk were my savor.

CONS: - You have to pay extra for a lot of things even for drinking water. All other places in Grabafa have a filter that can be used by guests. - Rooms are not well lit. Both the bedside lapms were broken. - Strict check in and check out. Even when I could see All the rooms were available on my check out day, they didn't even let me check out an hour late. - Breakfast was VERY BLAND AND BORING. Same breakfast everyday.. ugh.. - Was told to wait for 3/5 minutes to get hot water but it never came even after 10 minutes. PROS: - Front desk staff was really sweet and helpful. A huge shooutout to Jaime. Overall, I didn't find this place worth my money. Many better options available.

We've really enjoyed our time here. The hotel is very central and on quiet street. It's an oasis of tranquility in the center of the town which is exactly what I was hoping for. The service was great, Abel and Aime really made sure we have everything we needed and provided us with some good advice:) The hotel itself is really beautiful and room spacious. AC functional and not above the bed, so that was perfect. During our stay the hotel didn't have a restaurant, but they were working hard on setting the restaurant up. Breakfasts were brought from some restaurants they work with and it was the best typico breakfast I've had during entire stay in Nicaragua. Nice large portion, well flavored gallo pinto, pico de gallo, fried plantains, eggs, sour cream and even fried cheese! Super nice, I didn't even try other breakfast options, because this was so good. My GF tried the fruit bowl looking great too. Pool is actually a decent size and is open 8AM-8PM. The only downside of the hotel was poor water pressure in the shower of our room, but when we mentioned it to the staff they offered us different rooms etc., so not a big deal.
