Hotel Casa de Areia

We were a full week in the hotel and enjoyed it very much. Appartment 9 has sea view, you can watch the sunset from the balcony, room is spacious, has glass windows, climate machine is working well. Our room was cleaned up every day, we had fresh towels and if we wanted new linen as well.|The staff was very friendly and service oriented. |We attended the Thursday show incl. buffet. It was performed by the Samba Jeri school and we enjoyed it. These are not professional artists, but locals. |In comparison to the other hotels this was is a small one. Something what we prefer.

We stayed for 1 week in August 2016- due to the booking rating which was under 9 I expected soemthing nice but nothing extraordinary...but they surpassed by far our expectations. The staff and their service level was incredible -they did really everything to make our stay perfect: they decorated our room several times with roses/flowers and choclate -aside to the welcome drink and a bottle of champagen at the beginning ,they come up with fruit plates and one more bottle at the last evening! as a surprise for free! everyone was caring and helpful. furthermore the place it self is wonderful: it is very well located -next to the sunset dune, the main beach and the city center . rooms, restaurant, pool: perfect. and it is not just nice: plenty of exotic flowers and little decoration details make this place to something special.

Friendly staff! The rooms are clean and nice. The Nespresso in the room is a nice touch, even though each coffee is R$7. The restaurant, LA Plage, is one of the best in Jeri. Eat there even if you don't stay here. The only way into the hotel is from the beach. Go to the end of main street, turn left on the beach. They have staff at the beach entrance to take your bags.

We spend a short week (5 nights) in the Casa de Areia/Praia - at first glace we loved it. Nice location directly at the beach, the room was nice (Apt7) with a view to the pool and beach. ||The problem is more the lack of professionalism of the staff. Cleaning service was not emptying waste baskets, minibar was not refilled, towels were not changed. After a complaint this was just taken with a smile and thats it. |Shower utensils were only refilled after request after 2 days and then never again. The reception staff doesn't help much, too. |Breakfast is ok but nothing special. Available from 8:00 onwards if you leave earlier you won't even get a coffee - like us when we left on the last day. Excursion lunchpacks are also not prepared as in some other hotels. |The Thursday night show you can skip. 70 BRL without drinks per person for a very mediocre show, a mixture of some african, bahian and Samba dances at low level. |Only the capoeira group is really worth seeing but they perform every day on the beach after sunset anyway. The food afterwards is not worth this price. ||The rooms (at least ours) had air conditioning but could hardly be used since it has no windows just wooden shades with open ventilation - so all mosquitos enter and there are quite a few ! Also our room since located in the main building had quite some kitchen smell starting in the morning with breakfast and in the evening when dinner was prepared. The exhaust system seems to be insufficient or defect. No idea how the other rooms in the side building are. ||Wifi is available at no extra cost but slow and unstable. ||All in all- always looking at 6000 BRL which we paid for 5 nights - you will find better options like the new Essenza next door or others. If the price was lower, ok but at this level some more professionalism and care for some details is required. |||||||||||||

We stayed in the Master Suite with privat pool. Its situated on the top floor and has fabulous views over the beach and see. Enjoy the sunset from your own pool, terrace or hammock. Room and bar service on your own terrace. We were overwhelmed of the beauty and quality. We never stayed in a better place and will certainly be back.

Wow 😮 an incredible hotel in an incredibly beautiful setting. The view from the veranda to watch the sunset was something quite spectacular. The service of the hotel staff was impeccable and everything combined to make a magical holiday.

Excellent location- right on the beach and close to the main street. Unique design and atmosphere, great service and beautiful rooms. We were there for 4 nights in the master suite and loved every minute of it.

Highly recommended this small and cozy hotel. Amazing location,staff and food.Great for couples.Be aware that you will have to walk a few minutes to arrive to the hotel so call them to help with your luggage.Will definitely return.
