Hotel Casa de la Palma Bed & Breakfast

Everything about this place was great for us. We will definitely be staying here when we come back to liberate some more turtles. The breakfast that's included is more than enough for us but got the pancakes one time just to try them and they were delicious. The view from the terrace was beautiful. The pool was great, we were swimming around 8pm and had a great time. The pool looks small but it gets deep enough to cover my shoulders completely and I'm 5'10".

We luckily stumbled upon this place when our booked apartment turned out to not be acceptable and we had to find something last minute. Everyone who works here is very accommodating and enjoyable to interact with. Thank you to everyone who helped to make our stay so enjoyable. There is a very nice breakfast daily with enough choices and you can also order things off the menu for an additional charge. The pool is small and the water is not heated but that was not a problem at all and we enjoyed the pool. The location is actually excellent it is not in the tourist central area but it is very close to it so everything was walkable. We prefer to be outside of the tourist zone and in a working real neighborhood. There were lots of street vendors out and about and a lively environment. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but fine, have air conditioning, no refrigerators unless you want to pay extra $3 a day for a small one, beds comfortable enough, and the room we had had two double beds rather than one larger bed which we would have preferred but no big deal. Overall we were very happy to have found this small charming Hotel.

Staying at Casa de la Palma was a wonderful experience in the heart of town - Centro. Also with much care to attention, friendliness and hospitality were Anna, Stephanie and the staff. From smiling faces, sharing information, welcoming to making sure that all our needs were met. The rooms were clean, the pool was great and the breakfast menu excellent. Would recommend this little gem to others wanting access to markets, the beaches and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. (P and L from Canada)

Staff was incredible. They treated us like family and their hospitality is better than any place ever. Breakfast was great too! This hotel is nestled in a local business district with neighborhood dogs barking, music playing. It is conveniently located amongst the people and surrounded by wonderful food. loved this place! its not fancy, but its a great value, and for us being in the centro of Zihua was more fun/interesting than staying in a somewhat isolated place on the beach. Pool is clean (though it was on the colder side), rooms are clean and have AC, and the included breakfast is great (coffee, juice, pastries and fruit, plus very affordable eggs/pancakes avail) ... there is a rooftop terrace with hammocks, chairs and tables that is really nice at sunset. And the staff is wonderful with suggestions, insights etc !

Very cozy and friendly hotel on a great location. Near the market and next to the mini busses which bring you to the best locations. The hotel looks very cute and pretty even more than it looks on the pictures. It has a lot of comfort places like a little pool and a relaxing rooftop garden and the wifi is very good. The rooms are nice and comfy, you have everything you need and the breakfast is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we had a wonderful time and we will go back for sure. The hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing and so helpful. You can smoke on your balcony, top deck, around the pool and near lobby. The breakfast is fine consisting of tea,coffee,juices,milk, cereal, toast and jam, pastries, assorted fruits. Drinking water available for free. Very secure with front desk staff on 24/7. Although there is no safe in room we left passports and exit visas with front desk which was put away safely. We have nothing negative to say. The location is great, right within the Mexican Mercado and a 10min walk to the beach and waterfront. Many restaurants, banks with ATM within blocks. We used the Santander ATM just down the street as you can get 9000 pesos max for a 38 peso fee and detailed receipt. Special thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay, we would highly recommend.
