Beautiful hotel with charm. I stayed there on my rest day as pilgrim on Camino de Santiago. 3 mins to the Cathedral and Gaudí’s Palace.

I was amazed by this hotel. A little difficult to get to and find in a car, but our welcome could have been warmer or more helpful. Our room was very comfortable with an old world charm which belied the modern convenience of the en-suite, which had a wonderfully powerful shower and lashings of hot water. Lots of interest in the public rooms. Really enjoyed our one night stay. (There’s parking for four cars).

A wonderful place to stay in central Astorga. Our suite was beautiful and comfortable. Delicious breakfast buffet. On-site parking. The garden is a perfect oasis - a peaceful spot to enjoy the birdsong and some pre-dinner drinks. Friendly and welcoming staff complete the package. High recommended.

A really beautiful hotel in the heart of Astorga. We booked for one night as a stop-over but really wished we had been able to stay longer. The public parts of the hotel are exceptional, and the room was large, comfortable and well-equipped. breakfast was more than adequate. The outside courtyard was relaxing and there is an honesty bar system which we appreciated. The hotel is not easy to get to, and we were glad that we had booked parking there. The hotel has been in the same family for 11 generations, and much of its charm lies in the family furnishings, photographs and memorabilia on display. We would be delighted to stay there again.

Wonderful family run hotel- a real delight to stay here and only wish we were here longer. The home is in the family for centuries. A beautiful courtyard, wonderful breakfast and well appointed rooms, with a warm welcome from Juan. A must stay in Astorga.

Had a wonderful stay here during my camino. Only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. Arrived late in the afternoon and was met with polite, discreet, and great service. A lovely historical house (more like a restored 18th c. palace) perfectly located in the center of Astorga with elegant common rooms and a very serene patio with an open bar and a fountain in the middle. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious with crimson walls. My room came with a free breakfast but was not able to eat it because I had to leave early and they served it a bit later than usual for one on the camino.

It’s a hotel full of history and character, and it’s located across the street from a good restaurant (open only for lunch).||Our room was large and well equipped, and we had a nice king size bed. Water pressure was good and WiFi was strong.||The staff were friendly and the rate we paid was reasonable.||Though it was end of October and the weather was already turning cold, the hotel had not yet turned on it’s heating system. And the breakfast buffet was sadly typical of many small Spanish hotels.

Yelp
This beautiful and historical hotel, situated in the town of Astorga, was where we spent a night before we departed on the Camino de Santiago. It's a charming little hotel, with a gorgeous patio, a library, nice rooms, and great views. When we arrived, unfortunately, my traveling companion and I were given a bedroom with a single bed. The staff were most accommodating, and on short order were able to provide us with a room with two beds, even though they did so with some difficulty on their part. It was greatly appreciated. The room was nicely decorated and updated. Old, and yet, new. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and served in a quaint little dining room, reminiscent of so many older European hotels, on the main floor. This hotel is near everything you could want. There's a great restaurant just across the street. There are shops, bars, the Cathedral and Episcopal Palace and museums just a few blocks (3 minute walk) away. If you're on the Camino and need a luxurious resting place for a night, this would be one well worth considering.
