I stayed 5 nights in this wonderful hotel! The place is just like in the pictures, I loved how different it was and how close to everything. I was contacted by the loveliest front desk lady named Heydi and she was wonderful in helping me arrange my stay and transportation from the airport. The rooms were very clean, no AC but it was not needed that ceiling fan was great! There’s no mini fridge in the room which was a bummer but not a deal breaker for me. The beds were on the firm side but I had great night sleep. We only used the pool once because it was a bit chilly in Antigua but it was a great addition for my kids. The hotel offers discount vouchers for their restaurant which is located by the arc about 2 blocks away, food was good priced and yummy. There is a place called el barrio next door which has a bar that plays music until about midnight or so.. I read reviews that you needed earplugs but I didn’t find that being the case even though you do hear it in the room the noise was not overwhelming at all. In fact I highly recommend visiting el barrio lol loved that place! The staff is small in this hotel but they are so accommodating and nice people especially aura the cleaning lady and Alejandra another front desk. I loved this place and I highly recommend it. Our room was number 11 and the room next door #12 has epic views of the volcano!

Amazing location literally in the centre of Antigua - steps from the main Central Park. That’s the positive. Bear in mind it’s right next door (and I mean literally adjoining) El Barrio and Lava Terrace (which is a great place by the way) so music plays until 1am - to be fair we were offered 2 rooms on arrival - a larger one next to reception on ground floor and a tiny room on the 1st floor which we opted for as it was quieter!! - however it was a squeeze for 2 people - but another plus the bed was comfy and the shower hot - (shower and toilet are in what used to be the wardrobes honestly!) So there is NO storage space! We spent little time in the room so didn’t complain but for the money it seems a bit tired and outdated, but it does have a cute traditional look (the pool was ok but has a lot of tiles missing so a bit of a potential hazard) We did enjoy our stay and loved Antigua (and el Barrio where we went every night!! May as well enjoy the club or lay in bed listening to it 🤣🤣 Ps Room 9 which we stayed in was small but just bearable- if you are happy living out of your bags/ suitcase also the view of the Volcan de agua is amazing!! - just avoid Room 7 next to the club and reception and road 😅 ALSO- think the noise from the club varies between weekdays and weekends- if you are there Sunday - Wednesday it may be ok?!

This place is not worth the risk of you ruining your trip and not having a place to stay in Guatemala a few days before you are supposed to arrive. I made the reservation to stay there more than a month in advance. Everything was ok and I received confirmation emails. A few days before my trip the hotel sent a message saying I had to send payment in advance. I replied asking for a link to pay with credit card. They never sent the link, they just proceeded to cancel my reservation saying it was because I did not reply and did not pay. My reply was less than 24hs after they sent me a message, I did reply as soon as I saw the message and as soon as I recovered from the surprise of getting it in the first place. They never sent me a link or bank information so there was no way for me to send the payment anyway!! I was lucky to find another option only a few days before traveling and with a huge conference in town. Customer service is nonexistent. This hotel is not reliable, they do not respect their commitment to the reservations made in advance.

Staff is very rude. It’s located next door to a bar/club so silence is non existent from 6p to 3a…I can hear the music over over the ear noise cancellation headphones. Also, no central AC and the fan makes so much noise. 0/10 would not recommend.

Staff were nice and accommodating. People have complained about the noise from the bar next door. This is an issue, but getting a room in the courtyard, we found the volume minimal. I also read complaints about the pool temperature. I don't know what they're talking about. The pool was a very refreshing temperature.

I really liked this hotel. Very clean and quiet. On weekends there is a very loud bar next door but I was so tired it didn't disturb me. Actually it was nice to hear people so happy.

Great location, cute place. It's true there is noise at night, but with good ear plugs it didn't actually bother us.

We were in the heart of the city, and it made everything very walkable and easy to navigate. Our breakfast was amazing every morning at the restaurant nearby. I wish it had been warmer we would have enjoyed the pool, but it was nice to sit by on a cloudy day. The beds are very firm, but the rooms are cute, private, and nice.
