Great intimate historic hotel on one of the most photographic streets in old Cartagena. |We loved its beautiful decor, service, attention to detail, comfort, tranquil courtyard, rooftop patio with a great view and jacuzzi, excellent breakfast and most attentive staff.

I loved it; everything was so nice. The house is beautiful and the workers were very attentive and nice. Shout out to Jose and Maria. |I need to make a special mention: Luis was very accommodating and went far and beyond to make my stay truly memorable, he even accompanied me to the airport to make sure I was okay.

What a pleasure it was to arrive at this hotel after a 5hr drive from Tayrona. Beautifully appointed rooms, with powerful AC, in a tranquil location. The hotel is less than five minutes from the heart of Cartagena’s historic centre but a world away in terms of peace and quiet. The staff were so accommodating and always on hand and the breakfasts, individually prepared and eaten at a large communal table, were delicious. I highly recommend Casa Don Sancho and will certainly stay here the next time I find myself in fabulous Cartagena.

Don Sancho. Very welcoming. Top rated accommodation by our standards. We don't like large resort hotels since we don't travel to spend time in a hotel somewhere. We are out most of the day.|Breakfast plentiful, wonderful service. Usually ate by ourselves at a big table. Where were everyone else?|There is a turn-down service included and each night we were left a small bottle of water and Hershey chocolate minis. Hershey in Colombia! Arrgh, horrible sugary stuff! Why? Colombia has some of the best chocolate in the world. Give local chocolate please!|Neve tried the pool. It was disappointingly small for swimming. More for bathing and soaking. One might get two strokes in. |Spotlessly clean everywhere and everything . Maid service in the morning and turn down each evening. |It was a little noisy on the street side. This bothered my wife but I loved to hear the horses go clattering past before dropping off. We had view of street which we liked, and of the sea if we looked down the street.|Good ac in rooms. Hot water was good.|Only 6 rooms.

I traveled with my husband to Cartagena with the idea of getting to know the City and from many hotels in the Historic District we chose Casa Din Sancho . We could not be more happy with our choice.|This hotel is a house and you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable without loosing the charm of the times when the house was built.|Breakfast and included and what a breakfast!! |The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They made us feel at home all the time and made sure to fulfill every single request that we made .|We are planning to comeback in November again and we can’t wait.|Highly recommended you won’t regret it.

We spend four days in this wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Cartagena and we loved every moment of it. ||You immediately notice the attention to detail with which the owner has furnished and curated her house. ||It feels like being at home with friends. Breakfast is served together with other guests at a large, beautiful table - just like in another era. ||The housekeeping is excellent and very attentive. ||We will be back for sure.

I recently stayed at Casa Don Sancho in Cartagena, and I can't say enough good things about it. First off, the location is perfect. Right in the heart of the action, so you're close to everything. The service was fantastic. They really took care of us, making sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. The breakfast was delicious. A great way to start the day before heading out to explore. The pool is such a nice perk, especially after a hot day of sightseeing, asides from being really beautiful. If you're visiting Cartagena, I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.
