This is one of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff are so kind and helpful and the rooms are spacious and feel luxurious. I especially loved the pool tucked into the center of the courtyard where it was mostly quiet. The location is perfect being literally in the heart of restaurants and shopping in Merida. It’s very safe and easy to navigate. As a solo traveler I felt right at home and would return again.

My family and I enjoyed our visit. Swimming pool was atmospheric in nice garden (although the drilling and work being done next door during the day was a bit entrusive to the vibes). Breakfast was ok although portions and options were not very large. Staff at breakfast were cheerful and welcoming and reception staff always tried thier best to be helpful and again were warm and inviting. Mozzies were an issue so advice bringing lots of spray if you don't want to donate too much blood to the forever thristy mozzie population. Rooms had a strange odour-maybe from the wood. Overall happy to recommend this hotel. Location is also central and good for exploring the city.

Great location, big rooms, comfortable beds, clean. Lovely pool/outdoor area however there are A LOT of mosquitoes around pool and I got covered in bites. They really need to add/increase a regular garden mosquitoe spraying service. Towels are poor quality (one had a hole in it!) wifi signal rubbish in room. We loved the complimentary water to refill bottles.

My husband and I just spent a few nights here and oh, I wish we had booked more! The hotel is charming boutique style, little slice of heaven of the main tourist street (calle 60). The colonial charm and marvelously spacious appointed rooms made you feel like you were in a high end luxe property, while remarkably affordable! Once inside the property you are met with a pool nestled amidst lush tropical foliage and fountains! It was truly sublime! Nadia at the front desk is for sure a gem and they are lucky to have her under their employ! She helped us with our many (basic) requests and never without a smile. I want to go back and I've only just left....

Gorgeous hotel, with pool in inner courtyard offering very spacious rooms that are beautifully decorated. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. ||On site restaurant and room service had delicious food. If you get breakfast included it has a good offering and was yummy. It is a small restaurant so relax and don’t be in a hurry as it does not have a large staff. ||Room offers air conditioning, a fridge, a good sized bathroom and is very spacious. Our room had a space with seating and a table if you wanted to relax and enjoy dinner on your own. With the vaulted ceilings the air conditioning cooled the space but did not make it cold. ||Inner courtyard has a lovely mid sized pool with a garden surrounding it which would be a great place to relax and enjoy a cocktail. Hotel is a couple blocks from the main square, plenty of other restaurant options nearby, shopping and sight seeing within walking distance. ||The beds were very comfy, with slightly firmer pillows. Our taste in pillows tends to be a bit softer so potential improvement would be to offer a variety of types of pillows. . ||Remember a can of tuna to “sacrifice” to the house cat. The lovely gray cat lounged and watched over all the patrons. ||We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel, would love recommend staying here any time you are in Mérida.

Casa Lucia was a very nice hotel but it did have its downsides.|The atmosphere was lovely and although we never went in the pool it looked great! The rooms were nice but the water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best. It was good for its price and was in a lovely setting in central Merida.|Merida itself is a lovely town with colourful houses and many charming places to go. We really recommend not eating at the partnering steakhouse, la soberana - we had a very bad experience with them as they served us slimy old meat which had the most odd texture and had most certainly not been made that day as it was luke warm so was probably heated up. Instead we recommend kuuk for lunch, which was very good and was in a beautiful setting with colonial period architecture. It is quite far from the hotel so do get a taxi. We also recommend Mugy which is close to the hotel with delicious food and really friendly service. For supper we recommend Oliva for some delicious Italian food and as it was quite close it made it all the better. For breakfast/ coffee we recommend a charming cafe called sempere and for a delicious breakfast go to soca. A couple of warnings that I hope will help you are as follows:|Do not use the hotel laundry as it completely shrunk our precious clothes and all the laundry came out with a pungent smell of ultra perfumed detergent. Another thing to mention is that there is a similar named hotel nearby where we arrived at, called Santa Lucia which really isn’t the place you want to be at all, to say the least. Overall do stay at this hotel - it really is lovely but be aware of these few things.

This hotel has a perfect location downtown, & is very walkable. Our room was a good size, & had an in room mini frig. The bed was king sized & very comfortable. The pool was a tad cool. The best part was the manager Martha. She was very accommodating, & worked diligently to meet all our needs. The landscaping was gorgeous. Breakfast, which was included was delicious. The only issue, which was understandable, was all the tv stations were in Spanish. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is in a great location. Across the street from a small plaza (Parque de Santa Lucia) that hosts live music every Thursday night. Basically a 10 min walk from the Cathedral, main Plaza and Centro. Cute main court and small pool area. First floor Double bed room was clean, had crispy cold AC and comfortable. Can’t find something substantive to critique, maybe no ice machine but didn’t really miss it. Add on breakfast is fine. Would go back. GO PACK GO
