Best location. Slow food service but housekeeping great. Don't flush your soiled TP?! 😜

Had a ground floor courtyard room. A little noisy as have a restaurant dining area in courtyards. Windows did have internal shutters but of course good for night but cut light during day. It was quiet after around 10.00. Room good clean not huge. Bed comfortable. Bathroom water took a white to get hot but was then good temperature. Great location. On the street that closes at 9.00am to only foot traffic.

Overall a good hotel in a great location. I didn’t eat here however the rooms were well equipped (safes, blankets, tv etc) and clean. Only problem was that there was no lift (ok for me but would be difficult for some) and the hot water wasn’t working in my room. It located on one of the main streets so lots of food, drink and attractions in walking distance.

I had ground level of courtyard. Could really have the only window open and had to have curtain closed if you wanted privacy. A little noisy. Bathroom cold water or Luke warm. There was a safe no instructions. TV can access your Netflix and prime. Free to air channels in spanish of course. I ate in restaurant uninspiring food and menu. It was when arrived and tired. Old male waiter wrote on his hand I owed him for breakfast. I asked for bill. It was actually only 165 so be careful of the old guy trying to make money off poor spanish speakers like me.

We didn't stay in the hotel but we are here and I wanted to mention how fantastic their margarita pizzas are for only $80 pesos! Absolutely delicious and such a bargain for the price!! We actually returned three times just for the pizza and they have a great deal on 2 for 1 beers for only $50 pesos too! Highly recommend if looking for cheap yet delicious food and a great service ☺️

We are celebrating our 33 anniversary, stayed here 3 nights, the staff was very courteous and attentive. They have hot water. The hotel is very close to downtown. The restsurant was great they offer healthy alternatives. We will be coming back.

Solid place, great location but courtyard rooms are loud in the morning, tiny and dark. If you get room 43 or 44 that’s a jackpot. Gorgeous and bigger plus views. The negative is you’ll hear noise from street at night.||Location can’t be beat and probably more quiet than other hotels so centrally located.

It's a 3 star hotel so we knew not to expect anything outside of the basics. However, the wifi was terrible. We needed it for work. We thought it was the area, but we went to a restaurant two doors down and the internet worked wonderfully. Now, the worst part was the lack of customer service and getting ripped off. The hotel staff failed to provide us with maps or tell us anything about the town, they didn't inform us of their restaurant, or tell us that they closed their door at a certain hour at night. We walked back to our hotel a little after midnight. There was no intercom or doorbell. A street vendor had to tell us to knock very loudly so we could be let in. On March 25, 2023, we asked the female staff member working the reception desk for a taxi. We wanted to visit Chamula and Zinacantan. She stated that she'd have to call a taxi to ask for the price and told us it would cost $900 pesos for his services. We said it was expensive, but she said he was providing a tour service. The guy did nothing out of the norm of a regular taxi driver. In Chamula you can get a cleanse for approximately $100-$150 pesos. The taxi driver told us he could give us a cleanse for $2500 because he comes from a family of healers. We declined. We spoke to others in the town and were told that a taxi to both towns and back should have cost us about $250, $500 max. The hotel also referred us to a taxi company to pick us up from the airport when we landed in Tuxtla. That company charged us $1800 pesos. Once we talked to others, we learned we should have been charged $800-$900 maximum. There was nothing special about the transportation. It was a regular taxi. We understand we're tourists and that the price is going to be a little higher, but to refer us to so called "taxi" companies that are charging double the price is outrageous. The hotel staff should know the cost of transportation considering the amount of tourists that visit the area. We've traveled to various parts of Mexico and the hotel staff have generally been helpful and have informed us of what things/transportation should normally cost. This hotel was absolutely unprofessional, untrustworthy, and we will never recommend to others. I must say that everyone else outside of the hotel - street vendors, wait staff, store owners, locals, etc. - were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Yelp
Although very clean and the day personal very kind, the night personnel do not maintain the noise level at night. After I politely advised the night management of the noise outside my room and that I had a flight to catch at 3am and mind you it's now 11:15pm, after an hour of a LARGE group of people outside my room speaking loudly the night management did nothing to silence them but instead brushed me off. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
