This hotel is a gem in Granada. The location is perfectly situated for a short stroll to the central park. It is really warm and welcoming and the owners are onsite and talking with the guests. It feels like home! Bocadillos restaurant is separately owned but attached with a shared kitchen. It is fantastic and steps from your room. The gardens beyond the front door are so beautiful like you are in Europe with fountains, stone pots and you sit at the breakfast table within the gardens. The staff are amazingly friendly. We will be back for sure!!

Beautiful casa next to San Francisco convent. Only stayed one night but found the staff so friendly and attentive. Everything was walking distance and we felt very safe walking through the street. Breakfast was phenomenal. We met the owner who also allowed us to try delicious yoghurt and was super friendly

Great location, charming, and great representation of colonial architecture. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, hard and a single pillow per individual. Great restaurant and no wifi in the rooms upstairs.

An excellent spot to tour the city of Granada . Very close to restaurants and most attractions. They have an excellent little bar in site with a happy hour from 3 to 6. Food is good and the service excellent. Would recommend this for a Granada visit.

We just finished a three night stay at Hotel Casa San Francisco. The hotel was amazing, friendly staff, clean, beautiful and an amazing location. We travelled with two young daughters and not only was the hotel family friendly we felt extremely safe and well looked after. We throughly enjoyed our morning chats with Terry who gave us many recommendations and would answer any questions we had. We are looking forward to returning to Hotel Casa San Francisco soon!

The hotel staff was very, very friendly and helpful. Nancy and Terry made sure that we were “friends forever”. The hotel room was clean and very unique. The staff spoke excellent English. |The hotel is a converted home - it has a rooftop deck where you can enjoy the beauty of the night sky. This is a great place to stay!

Five Stars - Exceptional Service and Warm Hospitality!||Casa San Francisco is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Granada! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by the incredible team, especially Maria and Ligia at the front desk. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless, comfortable, and memorable. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel like a valued guest, and their local knowledge enriched my experience with wonderful recommendations for places to visit and dine in the area.||The hotel itself, located at 207 Calle Corral, exudes charm and authenticity, with beautifully decorated rooms that capture the essence of Nicaragua. The on-site restaurant and bar offered a fantastic array of local dishes and drinks, adding to the overall experience. Owners Terry Leary and Nancy Bergman have created a space that feels both cozy and luxurious, striking a perfect balance for any traveler.||For anyone visiting Granada, Casa San Francisco is a must-stay. The combination of attentive staff, especially Maria and Ligia’s hospitality, along with the hotel’s unique ambiance, makes it an unforgettable destination. I look forward to returning soon!

My friend and I stayed here for a couple of days whilst in Grenada, Nicaragua. The hotel is lovely and open in true colonial style. We spoke with one of the owners over breakfast who was really nice and friendly. She offered her help for anything and gave us loads of ideas for things to do. The staff are all really friendly and helpful locals. Brekki was really good, i had the eggs and fruit on day one and cheese omelette on day two. There is a nice little garden by the dining area and it is so relaxed and tranquil. The room is ok but the beds are not that comfy, as the mattress is very soft. There are windows with no curtains so it gets light and the shower could do with being more focused, as unless you are stood right under it you dont really get water on you. The bar is nice and about 3 dollars for a beer. It is in a decent location and you can be on the main strip for bars and restaurants, as well as the main sights within a couple of minutes. You can get down to the lake in 15 minutes but when we went there, there were flies everywhere and you could barely breath. Unsure if it was time of day or year (we were here early february). I would stay here again for sure and it has great history to. Highly reconmend to all
