This is really a two star than a three star hotel. ||There seems to be some confusion with awarding star standards Spain which I have noticed before.||The room in the ground floor was quiet, which was good, but the whole feel was ‘stingy’. The air in the room was almost non-existent and it was difficult to sleep at night or relax. Paint and plaster was coming off the walls, the toilet flush was not working very well, but the most odd was the configuration of the bath/shower. It was a challenge every morning to get in and out of the thing. The glass protector was far too large/long and is a safety hazard as you do not want to cut your legs trying to get inside the bath. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning staff were lovely.||The breakfast was average but had a good selection. The coffee and tea machine was broken for a few days, so that was inconvenient. The staff did their best to bring us coffee and hot water for tea, but they were served in small expresso cups! Tea drinkers had to get up many times for refills.||The hotel staff could have been more knowledgeable with local information for tourists such as bus stop locations, provision of a free map, good (not average) restaurants, etc. rather than giving you leaflets with advertising of city bus tours that charge a tourist fare. ||Please train your staff better and provide them with a useful pack containing local information for tourists.||The hotel is in a good location for the main sites and the 21 bus, but I would not recommend my room on the ground floor as it is not worth the money the hotel charged for it. ||I do wonder how the Spanish get away with it; charging a lot for a lower standard.
